My boyfriend and I saw that they had a good selection of board games & tabletop games, but we did not felt welcome. I was actually gonna buy Pandemic legacy Season 1 from there but I was convinced that we should not do business with them because we were ignored that entire visit. I was really excited until I went in there.

Went in to look and explore. Although I did not get the owner’s name I really enjoyed the chat. Very knowledgeable and most friendly. Prices are great! I travel and try to visit shops across the country. This place rates in better than the top 5% of places I have been.I will most definitely be back for more cards. Thanks for a great experience!!

You would think that a bunch of comic fans would know what a mask is. Apparently, these nerds are invincible to COVID-19 since nobody was wearing a mask during a very crowded tournament.

I’ve saw other review saying the same thing. I’ve called about a specific card game dude was just like “no” like Jesus men at least try to help the costumer with some information.

Went here to check out their Dnd 5e book selection and also comics. The attendant was informative and let us know he could order anything we couldnt see on the shelf. He also answered questions for us about several products. My gf was buying a series of comics (6) and she had missed grabbing #4. The attendant quickly let us know that she had missed one incase our intent was to buy the whole sequence. It would have taken us probably days to find this out. Very appreciative for his observations. Well definitely be returning so that we can support our local gaming store through all this covid stuff.

I am a historic player of magic (i.e. I played 14 years ago...), this place is great to learn, find that missing card, or pickup where you left off. Friendly, informative, and all around a great atmosphere.

I love the place! Great for MTG and D&D! However, there price for a. Modern Horizon pack is a bit more than your average and they dont have the best AC. Other than that, a great place!

Owner is very kind but is gruff at first. Hes been very nice with us and we have been long time customers. They have an excellent selection of MTG singles, packs, and an amazing star wars toys/figures collection.

Great place! They host a ton of different board games and card games. They also sell a decent selection of comics. The staff is friendly and willing to help you out with any questions. Most importantly, the folks that go here are some of the most kindest individuals you would meet. It is okay if you do not know how to play a certain gane because the majority of everyone there is willing to help you learn.

Came in to check the place out but left feeling creeped out, no prices on any of the comics or toys and the entire time we were being stared at by the man behind the counter even though they have cameras that he could check if he was really concerned about stealing. Overall it was a very uncomfortable experience and would not recommend going to this card shop.

I went in to buy my son a birthday present. Mike was very helpful and even invited my son to come in and watch some of the D&D groups so he could learn to DM from them. I was very impressed. I also love supporting local businesses here in League City.

The owner is very rude, but only as hes taking your money. What a petty small man. Doesnt like people reading books, which is sad because they have a good selection. Apparently customers who look at books and still buy a few are loitering and abusing his business. Im sorry but if youre going to be that petty, maybe you shouldnt own a store that revolves around recreational activities.

This place is really cool. Theres something for everyone as long as you like fun. The manager was super helpful showing me how to play the Virtual Reality game thing too.

Cool place just mostly rpg and star wars stuff with tons of comics in the back. If youre looking for anything that has to do with star trek this definitely isnt the right comic store for you, they had about four star trek items in total but two separate walls dedicated to star wars among the other spread out star wars merchandise, so Im obviously just a salty trekkie. But honestly its a nice store with tables to play on with your friends and league night on Mondays.

Ive been playing D&D, board games and a bit of magic here for over a year. They also have a huge selection of Star Wars collectibles and a fair amount of comics.Mike and his staff are great at answering questions and all of their pricing is very fair. I look forward to our weekly gaming sessions.

I needed a zombie mermaid gift for a friends birthday and by the seas they delivered. Merchandise and comics! Was mega suprise my hunt ended right where i started. So nice to have a shop that caters to mainstream and all the unusual.

The largest and most impressive collection of magic the gathering cards in 100 miles, owned and run by a man who seems to despise you for trying to shop at his store and will give you prices by looking up what other shops will sell it for and tacking on another 25%.

Excellent place to find folks who wanna chill and play games. Mike (the owner) is always welcoming and you never feel pressured to spend any money... even if youve been hangin out all day. There are TONS of board games in house that are COMPLETELY FREE to play! Many of the regulars are available to teach new games and usually will even toss a few cards your way to help get your collection started.Some of the more obscure games arent played as regularly, but youll always find MTG, Star Wars Destiny, Keyforge, and D&D, etc.

I go to Empire at least twice a week with friends. They have the best selection of singles in the League City/Webster area.

This place smells. I mean, I get that its a MTG place... but clean your store of the stench. Also, when we went in the guy didnt even come out the back for several minutes after we called for him. It was like no one was even there. Plus this dude was crazy rude for no actually reason. We only dropped in for some questions. Felt like the guy hated being there, yet he was owner. I wanted to leave as soon as I walked in.

I asked owner if there was anyone he knew that wanted to play Edge of the Empire Star Wars tabletop rpg. He gave me a one word no. I then asked about a regular who told me to come find him there bc they were there often and the owner ridiculed me, emberassing me in front of the few ppl there and my friend i brought with me. WTF???

They have one of the larger MtG single collections spanning the history of the game in town, as well as a solid board game collection. Its the go-to stop for Magic when I need a card, today, on the south side of town. Large gaming area and parking area as well.

The owner is okay. He is cool I guess.

This place has a great selection of cards and the guys that work there know a lot about helping you make decks for just about any format.

Disgustingly overpriced Magic Cards, the place itself is nice but the man there, who was less than inviting, charged more than 10x the value of the cards I needed, not to mention the fact that the cards he sold me were also far from near mint. I cant vouch for the table top side of the establishment, but I wont be coming back for anything card related

Wasnt great at all. Im gonna have to give them one star JUST because of that one rude guy over there. I know the other guys are very polite and will do whatever they can to help, but that one rude guy made to where I dont want to return. Me and my friend went up to him to purchase something and he was ignoring us for SEVERAL minutes while he was looking down at his computer. It felt rather awkward. Finally after SEVERAL minutes he looks up to charge us. I cant believe he left us standing there for that long without saying anything. He couldve at least told us hell be with us as soon as he can. Doesnt feel welcoming at all.

Awesome place. I come here once a week for my DnD game, and he (the business owner) never rushes us out. Hes very laxed and mellow, and knows a lot about whats in his store. He also has a wonderful sense of humor. They even had the specific comic book series I was looking for. I would also definetly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy beginners sets for DnD or any other roleplaying boardgame you can think of, as well as card games such as Magik and Star Wars. And if youre interested in warhammar or pathfinder, you can find regular groups if you ask the owner. They even have a calander as soon as you walk in. Great place to relax.

Ok lets start off with this, if you love star wars, magic the gathering, table top games, and board games this place is for you. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very up to date on their MTG game base. Huuuge array of opened board games if you and your friends want to sit around and play, great selection of comics. Ive personally found some hard to find comics there. Plus if there is something specific and you want it he will do his best to get it for you. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming BIG PLUS. They even have a new VR setup which is hella fun.

Nope. Dont care for this place. I went into look for random stuff awhile back. I was the only customer in the store. (I think I know why). I wasnt treated very well as a paying customer. I figured the guy just had a bad day, but I went back and was still treated as my very existance was an annoyance. My advice, spend your money somewhere else. 50% of the time they wont have what youre looking for anyway, at least that was my experience.

When we walked into the store, the employee never spoke to us, and definitely was not helpful. Not recommended. Even if your focus is not comics( which is why I was there) at least be polite.

Terrible PPTQ. Terrible Warhammer events. Staff is not friendly at all and certainly not helpful. Guy behind the counter acted like I was bothering him when I bought a couple drinks. Dont trust people running the events at all. Almost $500 in entry fees and the store barely paid out $100 to the players. ALMOST unheard of.
