Just wanted to give kudos to Jessica the pharmacy manager. She helped me and my wife with an issue we were having with our insurance company with our daughters subscription. The first person we spoke with Corey basically gave my wife a I dont care attitude and we were at the point of never returning to the store and letting everybody know that it was filled with thieves. But Jessica stepped in and went above and beyond from beginning to finish in helping me and my wife straight the situation out. Your company needs more people like Jessica who actually care and fewer employees like Corey who do not care.
I call to make sure they have the flu vaccine and are accepting walk ins. They say yes to both.An hour later I walk in with my daughter and they’re not taking walk-ins.The tech claimed that sometimes the corporate office takes their calls, but it’s still the same company.
Was just refused of refill on a prescription for humalog for my 7 year old diabetic type 1 diabetic son by an Asian guy in a pink shirt I then had to put his nurse on the phone with them to see if they would refill the prescription they refuse to refill the prescription for me and told me to leave. I came back in the store to see if I could talk to somebody else that would actually listen to me and she said oh yeah we will fill the prescription like everything was fine and then tells me that she cant and by the time I had walked from my car into the store they had canceled all of my prescriptions that they said they had ready on their app for spite these people are the worst Walgreens Ive ever been to this is the 8th time Ive had problems with them and I have video proving how they treated me today that I will be posting to the internet.
Automated system doesnt work. so i get to call doctor then these people to get my medss. then it takes them an hr to count 6 pills. special kind of stupid.
I am not one to write reviews, this is actually my first! If I could give zero stars I would! DO NOT go to this Walgreens, they will give you the runaround! I called today to have a prescription transferred to another location. They said it was taken care of. I went that location and they said they can not send that particular prescription to different locations. I asked if it was still at the original location, they said it was. I drive all the way across town to find out they dont have it ready. They told me to come back in 45 min, which I did. When I got there, I was told it is out of stock until Wed. I asked for the girl I worked with earlier and she said, actually it will be ready tomorrow. I asked why I didnt get a call or text that it was delayed so I didnt have to drive 30 min back over there and all she could say was sorry. I will NEVER go here again and will be switching all prescriptions to CVS!!
I am not sure what is worse the walgreens or cvs in leander. I think they are both competing for worst customer service via drive thru. I give 2 stars instead of 1 since walgreens at least knew how to apply a coupon.
Just the worst costumer service, specially the little girl with glasses, she is just awful and really rude! Never coming back...stay away from this store, the Walgreens on 183 or cvs is way better. Hope she gets retrain on how to work at a drug store! The old lady she is nice!!
I got a next day covid-19 vaccine appointment at this location. The pharmacist and tech were both professional and quick and answered my questions. I was in an out and able to get on with my weekend before 11 a.m.
Come on Walgreens. You’ve got a 2nd lane but you close it and create a backed up line dangerously out to the main road? What’s going on? It’s like this every time I’ve come here. The line literally goes out to the street and causes traffic issues. Blocks the entrance and exit. What if an ambulance needs to get in here? You guys need to think this through. If you know rush hour is coming, bring in some more staff, open the 2nd lane, and if it’s broken, than fix it. It’s literally never opened so obviously you guys still haven’t fixed whatever issue is going on with the 2nd lane.
Never call for help or questions, they will hang up while saying hello can you hear me? You need to call back then when you do get someone they are rude and rushed.
So unorganized. Do not use this pharmacy at this location. They mess up everything every time!!
Great pharmacy! They are friendly and sometimes there is a line but people have questions about prescriptions, sometimes insurance messes up, things happen. They are friendly!
I get the weather has been bad. But today the roads are FINE. Power is on, it is clearly lit up in the store just fine. Randall’s, HEB, every gas station and even Dollar Tree (across the street) and Lowe’s are open for Pete’s sake. There is zero reason to keep the store closed and make it impossible for people to pick up medication. We all want a day off, but it has been since Saturday, except the couple of hours you opened yesterday. After I drove there and tried to get in the pharmacy line, someone pushed shopping carts in front of my car and said they were closing at 5. It was 4:30 and there were only 2 cars in line.Ridiculous.
Poor service. Little concern for the patient. Will not use again.
Placed an order for pickup YESTERDAY. Got a message about a slight delay and was given the option to call the store if I wanted to cancel.. Tried to call last night, but the automated phone system could not understand what I wanted. Never got a human. So, do I wait another day because I cant cancel now????
I was just at the Christal Falls leander Texas location! People shopping with macks or using Social distancing !!! Checking out with no management questioning the situation!! The 2 check out lanes were very close to each other! Not spread out at all!! I wont be back!! Not looking out for there costumers health what so ever!! Could not believe this just happened 😡😡😡
Sadly the crew and supervisor didn’t know how to do their job. Purchased an item on Thanksgiving, it was broken came 2 days later to exchange it for the same item with my receipt and they wanted to charge me more for the even exchange. So I requested a refund and then gave it to me on gift card. I couldn’t bother to argue as they already where not familiar with the process. Will wait to talk to Christian the store manager to see if he can resolve this. Right now I am out $5.48, have sorry gift card for $21.00 dollars and left without a product. When in a few times, until a new crew abs manager were on-site. Had issued resolved, used gift card they gave me to purchased item I wanted to exchange just in time to give as a prize for our church youth party.
They mess up my prescription every other time I visit. The last time I came they gave me a completely different persons prescription which is dangerous and should never happen. They do everything super slow. I should not have to correct them about my prescription every 17 to 21 days. It is ridiculous.
I have gone to this location a few times over the years because it is a convenient spot. I will definitely be choosing somewhere else to do my business. I looked for a FedEx drop off spot, and walked my package in there and waited at the counter for over five minutes and two employees were close by and I tried to wave them down and they walked in a different direction. I’ve worked retail before, and I understand how stressful it can be, but the two guys that walked up to me and told me straight away oh your package is too big it Hass to be under 4 feet. The problem with that is it did not specify those details anywhere on the FedEx location website about this location. So, this seems like a walker This seems like a Walgreens problem as well as a FedEx problem.I have also done photos here before and have waited over 10 minutes before waiting on someone to wait on me
Gave me counterfeit money and told me I just have to “eat it” (take a loss). Manager was very rude, quick talked me to get me off of the phone. So I had to result to calling the cops. And with the police he admitted a lot of things he lied to me about to the cop. Manager lied to me about numerous things and had to admit them to the cops. Cops gave him a warning that this was a felony and next time he will be charged.
This review pertains to the store itself, not the pharmacy which I cannot speak to. The entire staff here is great. It feels like your nice, neighborhood drug store. Juan, in particular, is awesome. I will come here for my over the counter needs over similar stores nearby just for their customer service(not to mention I’ll save a few trees not getting a 20 foot long receipt 😉😂)
Extremely long wait times at the pharmacy drive thru.
I came to this place a few times and always had a pleasant experience until today. I pull into the drive thru pharmacy and wait...and wait.....and wait. I say hello and I ring the bell twice still waiting as the line behind me starts to get longer. So I drive away and pull around again this time next to the window and explain how I wanted someone to help me, asking if they were just ignoring me. The customers after me got served with no problem by the way. “Oh sorry what’s up” was the lady’s response.
The Dr. at the pharmacy went above and beyond to help me find a product in the store, near closing the other employees were doing closing duties so he helped me for 15 until we found what I was looking for!
Their pharmacy section is very disorganized and they make it sooo sooo difficult to re-fill a prescription. Id been going to this location for years but Im not gonna keep struggling anymore, Im done. My insurance hasnt changed, my doctor sent them my prescription a week ago and even had to call them, they didnt submit it to my insurance, I went to pick it up and they didnt have it, I went 2 days later and they still didnt have it, turns out they had it under someone elses name? Or thats what they told my doctor. Im done trying, Ill just go somewhere else to get my prescriptions.
Just sat in the drive-through for 30 minutes finally got out of line with 2 car still ahead of me. Went inside and another line.
While every other business was closed for Christmas eve, Walgreens was open till 10pm
During spring break we went out of town for emergency and I only took enough for three days but ended up needing for five days the pharmacist was super rude was not wanting to help me I’ve never done this before and I just needed some advice and she got upset with me very unprofessional
If you have 5 hours to kill, go to this pharmacy and order weak sauce.
I ordered pictures online and went to pick them up when ready. When I got home one was missing. Less than an hour later I went back to get the missing picture my daughter needed for school. I saw the lady who originally helped me in an aisle at the front and walked up to her. She kept talking to her coworker and they both completely ignored me. When she got done I told her that she had forgotten one of my pictures and she acted like I was bothering her and rudely told me to go to the back counter and ring the bell. Never an apology or a how can I help you...nothing. The actual picture guy that came to the counter the second time was very pleasant. Wish she would take lessons from him.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The staff in pharmacy department have the worst customer service I’ve ever gotten. When you get in line, expect being there a minimum of 30 minutes. Every single time. They have mixed up my insurance at least twice. They look miserable when they’re “helping” customers. The only reason I’ve remained a customer is because it’s the closest one to my house. The pharmacy is a disaster. Don’t get your medications here, especially if your life depends on it.
Pharmacy staff is usually very helpful. Staff and Service here continues to improve. Im a demanding customer, and they have helped me with friendly service, when I was feeling exhausted.
Always helpful & cheerful. I come here several times a week to pick up items. Very handy to where I live.
When I walked up to the pharmacy desk, the two ladies (one with short hair and glasses and one with long hair tied back and glasses) looked at me and carried on their conversation about bowling, ignoring me for a while. Once thy finally directed me to what I was looking for, I walked back up to the desk; the pharmacist looked at me, didn’t say a word, turned her back, turned back to look at me again and then walked off. I am shocked at the complete lack of blatant disregard and customer service. The lady at the front cashier was lovely though.
Never a good experience. ALWAYS 40 min to pick up prescription even if no one is in line and I have been told its ready for pick up. Heb is much better!
I have used this pharmacy for over 5 years...they have consistently gotten slower and less helpful. Prescriptions were sent electronically over 2 hours ago for my son and they are still not ready. I am beating myself up for not using HEB today. I am going to stop using Walgreens all together. Their store prices are also ridiculous.
Pharmacy staff are friendly but very unorganized. Every time I go there’s a a long line and they never put it through to insurance correctly. Very frustrating
If you are sick and just want to pick a prescription dont come here.. they are very rude.. I have been coming here for years and the last couple year it just worse and worse.
Had prescription called in on Thursday. Have been waiting for call to tell me to come pick it up. So I called them they said sorry we are out of that medication and we will not have it until Tuesday. I asked why I wasnt notified about this sooner they said sorry and I asked if I was supposed to be notified they said we are really busy and to have a good evening and then just hung up on me.
Five Stars for fast friendly and efficiency. Been using them for 4 years now and have never had anything close to a bad experience.
I loathe picking up a perscription from here. Usually takes 20-30 minutes at least. In their defense there are the only pharmacy in the area but they should know that and staff up.
Pharmacist Barb is wonderfully helpful and kind.Becky and Juan always brighten my day.
They have no idea what theyre doing. The IT system is a mess.
All these 1 🌟 ratings are justified!! Nobody here should be working in customer service, ever!
I have never had a positive experience when picking up precriptions. The wait is long inside and out. I will call to update my insurance information, and when I show up, they still havent run it through insurance. I have to call over each time to verify that they received the prescription order from the doctor, otherwise it may never get filled. Im switching someplace else.
I have used this Walgreens twice for 4 prescriptions. The first time, there was a lot of confusion about one of the four. Yesterday, when I went to pick up the 4, I was told one of them was denied. Very, very unusual practice for my doctor to deny a prescription. Even if the doc wants to see you, you get one temporary refill to tide you over until you can see her. It was too late in the day to call my doc, so I called today. It was *not* denied, and when they called Walgreens today, the doctors office was told it was *filled* yesterday! I am heading over to Walgreens shortly, with receipts showing what I picked up, to get my meds. This is a waste of time for me and for my doctors office (not to mention annoying!)! Is someone at that Walgreens messing with the record-keeping? Or just incompetent? Last time I use this Walgreens!! (The Riverplace Walgreens on 2222 and 620 is excellent, by the way! Too far for me, though, in Leander.)
Whats with the wedding pictures.
The pharmacist was rude. I too have not had good experiences picking up prescriptions here.
Been here twice and both times made to walk on egg shells. If you use coupons, expect to be made to feel like a criminal. Manager Jerry is a condescending jerk...and thats putting it nicely! He nearly wiped out he was hurrying so fast to get to the front and catch me using my 4 coupons. And when he did get up to register, I handed them to the cashier and Jerry literally snatched them from my hands. Not a word, just snatched them. I guess he has nothing else better to do. Maybe he needs to read reviews on his store..
Always a pleasant experience, though sometimes a bit slow in the pharmacy (like cold and flu season), but never anything too bad that cant be fixed with patience and communication.
Worst customer service ever..photo counter is a joke. Don’t order online and expect ANYTHING to be correct..or there..even gave them extra time and they still messed it up.
This is the worst pharmacy on the planet. Literally takes hours to get something filled, sometimes there are “insurance” problems even if the person who the prescription is for doesn’t even have insurance. I have no clue how or why this place messes it up so bad every time, but it does. 😓
To pick up medicine is always a long waiting time or sometimes is not even ready. I have waited over 30 minutes almost every single time.
Pharmacy staff are great !
Great deals
Worst walgreens EVER!!! The pharmacist was rude and very unhelpful
Pharmacy was slow and has asked for my insurance information every time I go in. They put it in the system Im not sure how they lose it.
Terrible Service
Nice staff
Its clean and the staff is helpful
Cashiers are friendly every time helped me save money !
They take forever and have bad customer service I wont ever be coming back to this store and it smells so unclean it makes me sick
This is a nice Walgreens
Love it!
Friendly
Find another pharmacy! Had an appointment for vaccine at 10 am . I wasnt jabbed until 11am. Apparently appointment are useless, its first come first serve. The jabber was also doing one jab at a time every 15 minutes.
