We used crate and barrel for our wedding registry, and I would 100% recommended doing that through them. Not only is their selection huge (seriously if you can’t find glassware or dishes that you like, idk what you’re doing), but their customer service was amazing.We had a few items come broken, and all I had to do was text their customer service number and they were able to send me replacement items super quickly and easily!

Staff was extremely helpful and the store was clean and well organized.

This store is so inviting and addicting. I can walk around over and over browsing stuff in this store for hours. It has a calming effect on me. It’s so clean and refreshing. Wonderful clean very well kept and well stockedstore in an extremely accessible location.

I came into the store today wearing a face shield (sold everywhere as a face covering for COVID) because I have health reasons that prevents me from wearing a mask. They told me I could not shop there (even after I explained my health condition) meanwhile I see man with a mask but have pulled it down standing by the register, but nothing was said to him. A regional manager reached out at my request and try to resolve the situation with a gift card and offered a private shopping time (why I changed my star rating). I kindly ask the company please consider everyones well being and conditions, not a selective group. I came with a friend and rented a hotel to be able to shop there and other cute boutiques around the area. I hope this brings about understanding to both sides of the story.

We absolutely adore Crate and Barrel! It is always an enjoyable experience and the employees are fabulous! It is the FIRST place we go when we are looking for anything for the house. Our entire house is filled with favorite treasures from Crate and Barrel! Our newest table and chairs 😁

For such expensive items, youd think the staff would be a bit friendlier. He tossed the receipt onto the table, turned around to finish boxing up my $50 gift (that wouldve been $20 most other places), then when I asked about the gift receipt he said, its in there. Pretty sure that was the end of the convo and he just walked away after that.

I stop in kitchen supplies dept to restock wine glasses, ceramic kitchen bowls, etc., every time Im in KC. Clerks are knowledgeable & experienced. Great wine glass selection at reasonable prices. Love this store. Wish we had one in Tulsa.

I placed an order for four items from a wedding registry three weeks before the bridal shower. The items ordered were shipped in partial shipments which made it very confusing to understand what was arriving via the FedEx tracking numbers. There were two tracking numbers with different delivery dates. The dates for delivery changed three times so it was very unclear when your packages would even arrive. The day before the bridal shower three weeks later, still NO PACKAGES. They were located at the FedEx terminal in my city so Crate and Barrel stated they called FedEx to hold my packages and I would pick them up (which is over an hour commute) so I could have them for the party. The next morning upon calling FedEx the packages were not held and out for delivery. Well, only one package delivered and the other one is still waiting for pick-up. However, the party is long over and I had NO PACKAGES to give the bride so Im not going to spend my time driving for a package that delivered late, told was not held for pick-up and not available for the event. Upon calling Crate and Barrel today they could of carried less I still did not have my package, then on top of that stated it would take another two days before their customer service department could even look at my order to release from the FedEx facility for delivery to me. I asked the reasoning for this and the answer was there are a ton of peoples orders in front of mine, so obviously they have shipment issues all the time and are doing nothing to resolve this internally. Save your time, save your money, save your frustration; I will NEVER shop at this company again.

Unique ideas. Not super expensive but not that less costly. But quality decor and ideas are all amazing. If you are into home decor youl love it.

I highly recommend this place. We have bought several furniture items from here and have overall been pleased. Recently we purchased floor samples of some outdoor furniture we really like--unfortunately the welding from the furniture broke. The staff at this location was very helpful and although they didnt have to take them back--given they were a floor sample with no returns--they facilitated an exchange of furniture given the circumstances. I highly recommend this place

Registered here for our wedding-good selection and overall good quality. However there really is no incentive here for registering. The completion discount of 10% off remaining items is only good on full price items. Pretty much everything is excluded because there is always the “suggested price” listed and then crate and barrel’s price which is less so that’s considered ineligible. For already being so over priced you would hope they’d at least give you the 10%! Other stores offer far better incentives for registering.

Had an awesome time at their wedding registry event. Thanks for making us feel so special and giving us the opportunity to register in a milder environment where the staff was available to answer any questions and help. They also had several reps from different companies on site to explain their products. Very cool and glam event.

This review is of Crate & Barrel in general, not a particular location. I intended to buy a sofa on sale for $4600 and saw that I could get 10% back in rewards by using the Crate & Barrel credit card. My credit score is nearly 800 yet my credit limit was set to $750 and they would not grant an increase or even let me apply cash to the card to have a secured credit available. $750 is not even enough to purchase the smallest piece of the sectional sofa...a single seat armless chair. Why they bother having a relationship with Synchrony bank is beyond me.

If you are searching for excellent customer service, this is the place to go! The delivery of my furniture was delayed several hours, without notice. When I reached out to the store for clarification on delivery, they went out of there way to assist me. My furniture was finally delivered,and all was well. The store called me the next day and reimbursed me the delivery fee and sincerely apologized for my delivery being delayed so much. I was so pleased! I was polite when my furniture was delayed, I was frustrated but still understanding, and I didnt demand a delivery fee refund. So for them to go out of their way to call me the next day and apologize was such a pleasant surprise! As I said, all was well when I finally got my furniture, but they wanted to ensure I had the best experience possible. They have won a repeat customer! Thank you, so much for your excellent customer service!

Fancy! I think if I were looking for a kitchen item that was a gift Id enjoy this place and have fun giving something unique and high quality. We were looking for a furniture piece but did not find anything that suited.

I’m a huge C + B fan, and drove nearly 3 hours to shop at this store. It’s beautiful and clean, but the customer service was...strange and poor. I was greeted (not warmly) when I walked in, but after browsing the area close to where I walked in, as I was moving to another section I looked up and saw the employee who greeted me literally staring at me—like eyes boring into me—staring. I can understand staring if I had made some suspicious gestures toward my purse or pockets (like I was shoplifting), but I hadn’t made any. So, I shrugged it off as strange and kept browsing.About 5 minutes later, I caught yet *another* employee staring at me. I almost asked him snarkily if they made a habit of staring at all their customers, but didn’t see how that would help. I should note, I wasn’t dressed in costume or anything else crazy—I was wearing clean, cuffed dark jeans a gray shirt and some clean white Converse; nothing out of the ordinary IMO. After I caught the second employee staring, I kept moving throughout the store, because the staring was getting really annoying.When I went to the cash wrap to pay for my items, there was an employee sweeping nearby. She saw me and kept sweeping. I waited about 30 seconds and asked if this is where I pay. She was kind, but said “Oh, I thought someone was helping you.” I thought: Um...there’s no one else here. Who would be helping me? She called someone over and about 30 seconds later a woman appeared to ring up my items. She was somewhat friendly, but at this point, I was pretty irritated with the experience and just wanted to leave. Which I did.Honestly, I’m sure I’ll be going to this store until they build one in my area, but I’m not excited to go back. While the store was great, the customer service was poor. It’s my strangest customer experience to date.

Pros: amazing products that are high quality. Some unique stuff that you wont find anywhere else. Incredibly helpful staff and plenty of stock.Cons: prices range from a little expensive to outright crazy.

The associates at the store always go above and beyond to help shoppers. They give excellent design advice and are more than willing to find items either online or at another store. I appreciate how interesting and well kept the store is and always enjoy browsing to get decor ideas.

Its a fancy place for a wedding registry. They did have some terminals to look up the registry which was nice, and then they allowed us to print it off or email it. Once we found the item we wanted, the staff member had to do a stock check to make sure they had it because you cant just grab it directly off the shelf. Another employee then brought it out to us and wrapped it in a box and we checked out. The whole experience was great and the staff was very friendly, its just a little too high class for my taste. Im more of a Bed, Bath, and Beyond type of guy.

Awful! Ordered a kitchen table on April 3rd and finally received it on August 16th! No, the Amish did not make it! No, it’s not a one of a kind! Just a simple table that are made in mass quantities! So many issues from delivery to miscommunication on C&B’s part. I will never purchase furniture through them again. Literally went ALL summer without a kitchen table. I never leave reviews mostly bc I have never had bad experiences with purchases but this one took the cake.

While the people in the shop are very nice - overall Crate and Barrel service has gone down the drain. If you are in the first floor and have an inquiry about furniture you have to wait until someone from the top floor comes and talks to you. Then when it comes to shipping and delivery they are the WORST. I called 3 times w/voicemails for change of delivery. They didnt get them so now they wanted to charge 35 extra for the change of date. Another time, I was waiting for 2 chairs to be delivered over a month, only to know that 1 came defective and then it was out of stock. Terrible terrible terrible service. Wont be shopping there anymore even though Im C& B card holder.

I was in desperate need of a gift for a wedding shower and went to C&B hoping the items I needed would be on site. I was amazed when I walked in how many employees there were assisting customers. As we all know, right now there is a worker shortage, so I was pleasantly surprised that situation didn’t apply here. I immediately got assistance with the bridal registry and identifying an item that was on their shelves. I couldn’t have been happier with my shopping experience at the Leawood store.
