Rarely do I take time for reviews, good or bad, but Sheila in the cosmetic dept. Was the most helpful sales rep Ive ever encountered in any type of store. She was genuine and so welcoming not pushy or robotic as most. She actually listened to me with patience, gave honest knowledgeable input. As a business owner myself Im inspired by her motivation and care to just help a stranger. She honestly built my confidence in short time. She helped me find new products to try since my skin type has changed with age Im excited leaving here for once.Employees like her are very rare and walgreens is lucky to have her! I bought 10x more than what I came in for but have zero buyers remorse.Impressed !!!!Con: the man who was playing Manager kept interrupting (about 3xs) like stalking shelves or whatever he wanted to boss her to go do was more important than her helping me . I found that very rude but she remained so calm and caring regardless.10$ sale she really turned to 80$ sale he should learn to not be bossy but lead by example.
Great place.I have been doing business there for probably 8 years.Staff always helpful . At least twice when Drs. Office took too long to get back to them on prescription they called me at home after 5pm. To tell me script was ready.
As I walked into this location to find a certain over-the-counter medication for my mother who just got out of surgery, I see two cashiers and the manager at the registers. The male cashier in a printed shirt no mask was eating a huge Sub sandwich at the register. I went back ask the pharmacy tech where this item may be after searching for about 5 minutes he offered a certain aisle. I went to that aisle could not find it walked around the entire pharmacy area walked back to the pharmacy tech to let them know that I could not locate the item. He responded with an o and walked away from the window. As I got up to the register all three of the people were still up there and the manager looked at me and walked away it was a very disappointing experience. I used to be a former employee of this company and the customer service unfortunately was lacking tonight. My parents live in Durham and there is a rite aid pharmacy about 5 minutes away from their house and Im partial to Walgreens so I drove the 15 minutes just to go to the Lee location and was very disappointed with the service I received tonight.
Love this place
This is my preferred Walgreens location. The employees are kind and I’m always greeted with a smile. Erik is a great employee and he’s the reason why I keep going back.
Jesus - do you want to be treated like a second-class citizen? Well then this is the place for you!Been coming here for over a decade. Why? Well, they have a drive-up window for prescriptions. Thats it.The staff is friendly, no doubt. But thats where it ends. Be prepared to wait indefinitely. If the Rite Aid across the street had a drive-up window, wed go there (without question).
This place has a lot of great items along with medicines.
Lisa, the beautiful middle aged woman that I usually see working front counter is truly the definition of an amazing human being. I was in a tight situation, with my daughter by my side... I was embarrassed and truly just mortified. & where some may have gotten frustrated, annoyed, or judgemental - She was kind, patient, compassionate, and empathetic. I’ve never had anything but positive encounters with her but it was this that truly sent it home for me. She’s a great addition to the store and truly her soul is gold. She is the kind of person who makes you see and really appreciate the best in humanity. Thanks again so much for everything and the great experience !! ♥️
I only stop in here to pick up otc and snacks and drinks. Staff are very nice and friendly. Store is clean. Prices are decent.
Messed up RX. Didn’t give me any information on it. Said I could wait for. Called 2 days later and it still wasn’t ready & tried to blame me for it. Transferring all my RX from them. I have 4 from them on a regular basis. A little communication would have been nice. I work 65-70 hrs a week l & it doesn’t match their hours so it would be nice to know if I can get my RX or not. Now I’m going a whole week without it!
Drive thru pharmacy took 40 minutes today, waiting on one car. Drive thru would be a nice service if it were managed effectively. On the other hand: Store clerks are awesome. There is one that is especially friendly and helpful, and the others all seem to be also!
This store is grossly understaffed. At least the pharmacy department is. There is no such thing as picking up a prescription quickly. To talk to someone in the pharmacy often is a 30 minute ordeal. Worst pharmacy I have ever done business with, and I will be switching to another one very soon. This place really sucks.
Pharmacist manager and staff are very helpful and friendly
Place is a joke no matter if you go inside or thru the drive thru you wait almost 20 mins for this clueless staff to figure things out. Seriously does it have to take 20 mins to get a script?
Very helpful staff, lines are not long, and they have plenty of things when you dont feel like driving very far from the area, and need a local pharmacy.
Best employees that I have been helped by
A quick stop for what you need.
Great location
Nice Walgreens
Walgreens Pharmacy doesnt ask if you have insurance when you pick up a prescription. So dont forget to mention it if you do - or pay full price.
Just awful
