We booked Abbey in December of 2020 for a March master bathroom remodel. We chose Abbey for their reputation for quality work knowing that we would be paying a premium for that. The work did not start until the end of May (which we understood due to the demand for contractors right now) and what should have been a 3-4 week remodel lasted over 5 weeks. The Abbey PM showed up only a handful of time mostly to ask for money. Inspections kept failing, contractors would show up late or only work half days asking us to meet with inspectors or other contractors ourselves, a leak from their plumbing work caused them to have to replace drywall in our kitchen ceiling. It was repaired but after 2 attempts to paint the ceiling there are still spots which my husband will have to fix. There was flood damage and nail pops in the neighboring bedroom which are not completely repaired which we will also have to fix/paint. The end product does look nice but when we went to use the bathtub one of the faucets would not turn off and my husband had to fix that as well. I understand that contractors are in high demand right now but it was obvious our job was being forced into a schedule with other jobs being worked simultaneously and the result sacrificed quality and professionalism.

From start to finish this was a job well done! Before our bathroom was boring and outdated, and now it looks like an upscale resort bathroom. Abbey Designs did a fantastic job on our kitchen renovation last year, and just like last time, the work is absolutely top notch. We could not be any happier with the way it came out. The project was completed on time and matches our specifications exactly. Great job!

We had our kitchen totally remolded this year (November 2017), this included the total demolition of our current kitchen and then a full rebuild. We had the work done just before the thanksgiving holidays, so the process had to run smoothly and on time.We were just so pleased with the experience; the entire process was seamless from start to finish! Justin G started the project, helping with design, working through the tedious but vital processing of choosing material and designing the end product. Justin did a great job, he was responsive, detailed, and so helpful, we are so grateful for his excellent input! Without his help, there is no way the project would have been so successful, he has an eye for quality, but understands budget!Rob was the project manager, he had the responsibility of ensuring the job was done right, that it stayed on scheduled and that all workmanship, scheduling and logistics were on point. Rob did a fantastic job, he answered my texts and phone calls promptly, had the scheduled nailed down, his team never missed a beat. Rob would come by often to check on the progress, to meet with us to see if we had any issues or concerns, and on occasion when we wanted to add some additional work, he worked that into the schedule without delay.Rob made the work flow, he was responsible for getting his team in and out, completing the job before thanksgiving, in fact, he finished the job a few days earlier than expected ... which was so helpful for us! Punch out work was minimal, and the few things that needed to be done were addressed right away. Throughout the construction process Ron ensured that our home was inhabitable, we lived in the house during the entire build out. He made sure his crew kept our home clean, they did a great job cleaning up each day, and in the end, left our house cleaner than when he started!Joe lead the construction team, he was the lead throughout the project. Joe is an incredible craftsman, I was amazed at his ability to make things fit, and create a custom look with everything he touched! I do not think I have ever encountered such a top-notch craftsman, we just could not be any more pleased!We were so pleased in fact that we are now having Abbey redo all of our bathrooms, as well as replace the hardwood floor on our first floor and the carpets on our 2nd level. In fact, I often thought that I wished they could have just build our house from scratch, they have been that good!In essence, because of the incredible job that they did on our kitchen, we are now having them redo our entire home, and we will be living in the house during the work, we are that confident.Thank you, Justin, Rob and Joe!Rob - to you, I wanted to express my gratitude for always being there when I had a question, for doing the little extra things that made the job so perfect! I cannot say enough good things about Abbey Design and their team. They recently completed our full kitchen remodel and it looks beautiful! More importantly, their staff is wonderful. Jimmy Nazemian, the General Manager in Leesburg is fantastic. He was so attentive and was great to collaborate with on the project. His team, Jeo and Diaz, did an amazing job on the remodel. They are so skilled and worked diligently, even coming in on the weekends to meet deadlines. The best part, they leave their work area nice and neat, every night when they leave. You hear so many horror stories with remodels, but our experience was pleasant and seamless. Thanks to Jimmy and team! Appreciate your work in making our kitchen beautiful!

An outstanding job by a great team led by Robert Richter! Robert was on top of all issues and kept me fully informed every step of the way to completion. At the conclusion of the master bath and guest bath renovation I could not have been happier. A result of the professional attitude and superior work by Robert and his team is that all who enter my home immediately inquire as to who did the great work! As I was prepping to sell my house (at open house and visits multitude potential buyers) I proudly exclaimed that Abbey Design Center made it a showcase of design and craftsmanship. Their work allowed me to sell my house within 24 hours of listing!!! I highly recommend Abbey Design Center and ask for Robert!!!

Im a high end custom builder and Abbey is the exclusive company I use for high end flooring and cabinetry. Always on time, the workmanship is fantastic and the rare instances something does go wrong they are very quick to correct the issue. Im a second generation builder and my father always told me the sign of a great company, person, is resolving the unexpected issues promptly and professionally. Abbey certainly lives up to that saying.

We had Abbey Design replace the carpeting on our stairway with hardwood to match the kitchen floor. The installers, Ronnie and Omar, did an amazing job. This was not a simple job as each step was slightly different in size and had to be carefully measured and customized to fit. Ronnie and Omar minimized the intrusion to our home, their work was extremely meticulous and they did an outstanding job. kAs a result, were thinking about replacing the carpet with hardwood in some additional hallways, and well definitely ask for Ronnie and Omar again.

Chris was a pleasure to work with in choosing the right hardwood, carpet, and vinyl options for our replacement project. The work crews were professional, timely, and thorough in their work. We definitely recommend Chris and Abbey Design.

Declined to provide an estimate. Our planned $20K appliance replacement, counter changes, plumbing & electrical project was too small for them. Unless it was a complete tear-out & replace of cabinets, they were not interested. Must be nice to be doing so well that they can decline work....

This review is specifically for the Leesburg location. I first visited the Sterling location and immediately left after the associate there told me they do not take any business less than $15,000. Thats quite an odd position because you lost out on a substantial amount and you left an impression thats not very good. In fact it was quite egotistical.A few months went by and I went into the Leesburg location just to get design ideas for several projects. I had no intention of giving them my business because of the bad experience at the Sterling location. To my surprise, after telling them my experience. However after sharing my experience with them I was informed that I wasnt the only person who has given that feedback and that they (the Leesburg location) operate very differently. Chris greeted us and spent quite a bit of time helping us to pick out carpet, wood, and design a backsplash. He gave us great advice and because of the experience with him I decided to give them a chance. We were not close to $15k but that didnt matter. We eventually settled on what I felt was a fair price.The workmanship is excellent. The installation crews did not rush and they took the time to do things right. In fact the crew that did the backsplash spent nearly another hour before starting to give me options on different ways to size and layout the mural we chose. At the end of it all I am very happy with the outcome.Regarding the price, they wont be the cheapest. However, they dont use subs and both Chris and Nick (handled the scheduling and installation) are easy to reach, responsive, and hold a high regard to customer service. Id rather pay a bit extra to know Im going to get a high level of customer service and that they will be on top of things to resolve any problem that comes up. Except for the delivery person the crew cleaned up well, took care to cover my furniture nicely, and just got the job done.I have only 2 complaints. First, the person who delivered the wood did so on a rainy day. He didnt remove his shoes or cover them so he ended up dragging alot of mud through my first level. Whats important to me is that ANY contractor or third party service provider should treat a customers home like their own. That shows respect and is a sign that someone is paying attention to the details. I was not very happy about that. Second (this is a minor one) is that I was very clear I needed a 30 minute call ahead each morning to make sure someone would be home to let the crew in as I didnt want them to wait while we managed our morning routing. The first day the crew arrived without calling and no one was home. Luckily I was about 15 minutes away so I was able to get home fairly quickly. They happily waited but I would expect them to do so since they didnt follow the instructions to call ahead. I spoke to Nick about it that day and he quickly resolved it. I got a call each morning during the next several days as the crews continued the work. Everything worked out smoothly.At the end of it all I would recommend Abbey (this location only) and would suggest that people work with Chris. Hes good, gives honest advice, and will be as flexible as he can on price to be competitive. You can expect a high level of customer service, good selection at the design center, and honest staff.

Damaged furniture and said SO WHAT. Dug three gouges in brand new bed footboard, and said Read your contract- were not responsible for any damage that we cause!. Horrible customer service attitude.
