So lets just start off by saying our server Jasmine was AMAZING! She was patient and helpful. Full disclosure we had eaten dinner some place else (not so great btw) so we only were having dessert. It was delicious!!! Worth every penny and such a nice experience. I am looking forward to going back for dinner and enjoying some fabulous service/ recommendations from Jasmine.
My wife and I stayed in Middleburg and made the trek out to The Conche for dinner and dessert and boy are we glad we did. The restaurant and bar area are a little tight due to it’s popularity but what it lacks in space, it makes up in the food department. Everything we had, including the chocolate dessert was exquisite. Highly recommend - Go! - You will not be disappointed.
What an amazing way to spend an evening! I came in expecting this place to be the classic, over-hyped place I always see being talked about in local social media forums that just end up having mediocre food. I cannot tell you all how pleased I am to report that I was blown out of the water! The food was finally something to look forward to with each course- we enjoyed the mussels, I loved my Riley, and I never order dessert (because I own a bakery) but I definitely WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO ORDER A DESSERT HERE. I loved every part of my evening. The entire experience was one that will leave me wanting to come back and tell all my friends they need to enjoy a meal here. I must also mention part of the amazing experience was because of our incredible server Joshua. He had incredible recommendations and was so personable and patient. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation NOW!
You have me at chocolate but especially when you incorporate it into my food too! I felt like I was in the movie from 2000 called Chocolat ! I had the Conche burger along with the garlic fries. So good!! The burger had so much flavor and it is huge! I also had the Manjari for dessert and I felt like I was eating art it was so beautiful! Whoever does the chocolate work blows it out of the water. I also tried the Flat iron steak which was melt in your mouth delicious and the Rack of lamb was divine. Don’t get me started on the Conche Entremet!! This was a beautiful chocolate experience where they come with a chocolate Dome and light in on fire at your table side and inside is the most indulgent chocolate experience. It would be perfect for a birthday or anniversary! So special. Highly recommend this place!!
My husband and I decided to do a very small wedding reception at The Conche after the civil wedding papers on Leesburg, I was really happy that I made this decision. The food was delicious 🙌👌, drinks very different and good. The service was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, they make us feel soo good and special that day.I also ordered a small wedding cake just couple days in advance, and they had it ready! ♥️We are looking forward to celebrate our 1 anniversary next year there 🤗.
The food was ok but not great, especially for the price. We had the ribeye, scallops and the Conche Entremet. The scallops and the desert were ok. The ribeye was overcooked and we regret not sending it back. The service was good BUT we felt so uncomfortable as no one (servers, hosts, kitchen staff) was wearing a mask. Its still a pandemic and it was very uncomfortable looking how our server touched his nose, beard, face, etc. repeatedly right before touching our silverware, leaning over the table, and serving our food.
On pricey side but delicious...funny they are know for chocolate candy but I think so many other places do better dessert and candy although conchs food AND chocolate drinks are in an EXCELLENT class of there own!!!! And Randy is one of the most attentive/professional staffers Ive ever had attend to me at any restaurant!!!!!!
The Conche doesnt require any reviews. Their food is just brilliant. Our server Jasmine was great and she gave some amazing recommendations on drinks and food. The serving size leaves you feeling full but not uncomfortably so. Its just perfect. The booths are separated with plexi glass, all servers wear a mask and masks are required to enter the restaurant. The service is excellent and fast.Highly recommend. Do not miss this one. Go!Favorites - Lamb and the Short Rib
We had fantastic dinner and our server was great as well. They take care of their customers here and make sure the experience was nothing short of great. I would recommend The Conche Old Fashioned as it is perfectly balanced and has chocolate in it! I had scallops and gnocchi and my girlfriend ordered the steak. It was a great night out for a date and really enjoyable.
Wonderful experience! Our waiter was Joshua!!! We absolutely loved our meal, atmosphere was a delight, and I cant say enough about how delicious everything was. This was our first time visiting the Conche and certainly will not be our last. Joshua did an incredible and excellent job entertaining us and taking care of us during our evening. I give The Coche the highest of recommendations and encourage you to visit them if you have not done so already you will not be disappointed!
We have been passing by this restaurant fairly frequently since we moved into the area last year, and finally tried it out today. The flavors are great, use of chocolate was very subtle, except for the dessert where they popped. We will return soon to try some additional dishes, and more dessert!
A first class operation with exceptional customer service and meal choices. Every course was excellent and the desserts were phenomenal. The serving staff was very attentive and careful with a member of our family and food allergies. We sat in the outside area with no lack of service and attention. The gourmet burger was uncommon and had great flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant and well be sure to return.
We had a delicious flight of mimosas with chocalte. Then the best heauvos rancheros we have ever had. Finis off with the most amazing gold chocolate melt cake with ice cream and other delights! Staff and presentation amazing! Thanks and God bless!
So this is your passionally sourced tastefully crafted local bar and restaurant theyre going to have all of these amazing different cuisines for you to try that are fresh plus the chocolate is just as exquisite when you walk in the door itll blow your mind. Outdoor seating is great as well. Good bar for libations
I had a great birthday dinner here! Our waiter, Randy was so nice and did a great job despite being understaffed. The food was excellent. The garlic fries and watermelon salad were wonderful. Also had the short rib burger and it was perfect. If I had to give any criticism it would be that I didnt love the star anise flavor in the ribeye. It was really good but that particular flavor is too much like black licorice for me. I would love to eat here anytime!
By far one of the best dinners I had in years. Our waiter Josh was fantastic and knew exactly what to suggest. This might be my new favorite place. Highly recommend the house old fashioned and any of the desserts !
I have no witty quip or review this time. This is the first time a meal has left me speechless. Every year I make an effort to try the NV magazines best ten and The Conche exceeded my expectations. I wish I could say more, but I’m at a complete loss of words. Our meal was transcendent. Highly recommend the Conche Entremet to cap off the meal if you’re celebrating something special.
Where do you start..the food was delicious. They will be opening a tapas and taco spot at the end of this month (Oct 2020). We got to sample their empanada as an appetizer. We had the scallop and short rib dish. Then dessert was the perfect ending.. Monkey bread dessert and Chocolate Creme Brulee. The staff was very nice and welcoming and made the experience all the better. Go..you wont regret it.
Dean was amazing, a true host. After an amazing porter serviced by Greg, we have amazing appetizers. Great service and beautiful food.
This place hits above its weight class and easily could have a Michelin star. Every dish is so carefully crafted with such precision and flavor that beats out any restaurant in the area. The raw ingredients are extremely fresh to the point where they were unsure if they had the day’s delivery of fish since we went pretty early in the afternoon and we were given the dinner menu. The steamed mussels appetizer was fantastic. Extremely fresh mussels with a deep rich broth. The crispy grilled bread dipped in to the well seasoned mussel broth made for an amazing combo. The ahi tuna poke as recommended by the server was extremely refreshing and clean/light but had great flavor and texture. The summer peach salad was fantastic as well. The baked brown sugar peaches tempura fried was quite unique. And the greens paired well with the creamy burrata cheese. For entrees, the seared scallops was fantastic with large diver scallops and a lovely light sauce that took advantage of the chocolate theme without being overpowering. The braised short ribs was fantastic and delicious and rich and had a cocoa forward flavor but with the polenta made for a nice combo.Last but not least, the single best dish we had at this restaurant is the dessert. The araguani recommendation by the server was the right choice. So delicately crafted, I’m surprised this hasn’t been featured on a Michelin guide. The chocolate crepe brûlée is extremely innovative, the smoked chocolate ice cream brings the smoke forward flavor pairing with the cocoa. The churros go perfectly with the dulce chocolate dip. I could just come here for dessert everyday to try out all the other options. The server was extremely friendly and pricing was high but reasonable for the quality of the food. Ambiance was also fantastic and with plenty of outdoor seating to boot which we were able to leverage on an afternoon with natural shade from the building plus and umbrella if there was an unexpected shower.
Good place to visit for non vegetarian food. Being vegetarian we didnt found many option and the bill was too high. Their staff is amazing and over all good restaurant.
My got the Ribeye steak with Bacon Burgundy reduction. I got Braised Short Ribs. Our waiter(Davon) is amazing. Will definitely coming back their again and again.
Simply amazing. Everything we got tasted great and was full of different flavors that all complemented each other. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and as the food was brought to our table he recalled with exactness everything that was in each dish. We got the three course lunch experience and left feeling full. I will go back here as many times as I can. You will not be disappointed. Chef Tiptur needs to open a restaurant in every major city!
This is a lovely, cozy restaurant that provides an intriguing menu, integrating chocolate into almost every dish. The selection is unique, and worth trying something outside of your comfort zone. The concept is great and the food is something that you wont find anywhere else. Our food was delicious, however the steaks were over done (ordered mid-rare, came out well). Despite that, it tasted good and we ate them anyway.
Chocolate is in most plates. Desserts are awesome. But all food is really good. I had octopus appetizer and duck breast entree. Both were phenomenal.
I visited the Conche yesterday for my first time and it was truly a wonderful experience! I ordered the Conche burger with garlic fries and it was fantastic! Randy my server was also one of the best servers Ive ever had, quick, sharp and attention to all the fine details that make a dining experience truely wonderful!Highly recommended!I cant wait to try other menu items!
Super-attentive staff and terrific, imaginative food featuring cocoa as a savory component. Wonderful!
Quite simply this is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in a mall. Driving through we stopped to charge the car here and ended up at The Conche. The pear and burrata salad was phenomenal and we rounded out with some broccolini and garlic fries. Everything was phenomenal and came out QUICKLY! The staff is charming and endearing. A must stop if you’re in the area.
From the greeting at the door, to the food, to wait staff. It was all awesome. I have been to some really exclusive places in VA but this one was THE best I have ever been.
This was the best dining experience Ive had since I ate at Spagos LA in 2001. Just outstanding! Get the Braised Short Ribs or the awesome Ribeye Steak.
A Top 3 restaurant in Loudoun County. Very creative dishes and cocktails. It never disappoints. The staff are great too. Kudos to management for choosing their staff carefully. If you’re into boozy cocktails the Soot & Rye is a must.
The calamari appetizer and the desserts were delicious. The main course, scallops and short ribs were just ok. Super tiny portions on main dishes. I got 3 scallops and 4 brussel sprouts for $38. Way overpriced. Id say go for dessert after having your main meal somewhere else.
I used to live locally and ate here frequently. Ive been gone a while and I met my cousin tonight and his bride. Often we say they just arent the same, but this time oh my I can say theyre even better. They had outside seating with heated lamps which I didnt do I went inside and it was just amazing. My cousin and I could not believe our taste bud it is absolutely better more creative and Heavenly. Absolutely heavenly.
Perfect for date night or with a small group. Try new foods, and even watch your desserts get made. Amazing drinks. Try them all. Highly recommend.
Service was terrible waiter was so so rude. food was good but i’m just shocked how bad the service was
Unbelievable food! Soooo great! Great service too!
The food was great and our server was excellent.I do have one complaint about the seating. We had reservations for 3 people at 6pm and asked specifically for a booth and was told that booths are only for parties of 5 or more. After we were sat at a table, there were 5 more parties of 2 people who were sat at the booths we were told we could not sit at. We were close enough to the hostess stand to hear and not one of the parties requested a booth and we’re just automatically sat at them. We were the only party less than 5 people who were denied a booth and sat at a table.
Visited The Conche yesterday. We sat outside to enjoy the day. The appetizers were delicious but the portion size was too small. The cocktails although great presentation, seemed watered down, served in tiny glasses. The entrees were delicious lacked the quantity expected in a regular entrée. It was probably less than half. And finally the dessert was drops of chocolate....lol. To my the surprise the final bill was hefty, compensated for lack of critical mass in the food. We left unhappy,
I had never been before and it sounded exciting. Well I was amazed with the presentation of the food. The portions were smaller than I was expecting but the taste was amazing. I had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Then we got the big dessert and it was so good. We had 2 birthdays at the table so they brought use their dog to going
Excellent service, food and ambiance. Then there are the exquisitely presented and sublime desserts... Happy Anniverssary Darlin!!!
Went with friends. Ordered calamari, short ribs, chicken, pasta, and scallops. The pasta was the only thing not burnt or overcooked. Dessert was a little disappointing with peaches that tasted like apples, and a brownie that wasnt a brownie. Service was so so.
The Conche is our go-to for special occasions from Birthdays to Christmas they make every occasion special. Our favorite entrees are the meltingly tender braised short rib, the Campanelle pasta and the outstanding Conche burger. There is truly something for everyone though - expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Be sure to save room for dessert as they are outstanding. Our favorite is the entremet which is flambeed tableside and can easily satisfy four. However each season brings new specialty desserts to try - currently the Black Forest is our favorite! The Conche also offers chocolate and cocktail making classes and summer cooking camps for children.
Staff & Service was off key. Had ask for water, drinks, silverware etc. We constantly had staff asking us is is this your food or did you order this drink? Spent a lot of money and not going back til they get their act together. Couple next to us complained as well. Oh well there is always Travinias is right next store.
I was extremely excited to try this restaurant out and The Conche did not disappoint on the presentation or flavor of the food. Lets start off with the variety: theres LOTS to choose from in appetizers, main courses, desserts and drinks. 95% of the menu items have some kind of chocolate infusion whether its delicately added to the bbq sauce or punch you in the face chocolate dessert. The chocolate is there and you can really taste it if you savor the flavors and not inhaling your food as soon as you get it.What also really impressed me was that our waiter took the time to explain the artfully crafted meals-- what flavors were combined and what we should be expected to taste. They knew these dishes like the back of their hand which just added to the overall enjoyment of being in this finer establishment. The setup inside is tight but not claustrophobic. Making a reservation during peak hours is definitely recommended but not necessarily needed if you dont mind waiting a bit. I was in a party of 3 so we were seated pretty quick around 6:30pm.Kid friendly? Kinda. Its not a place for rowdy children or parents who dont want to spend $$$ on a kids meal.TLDR; Great food, snazzy atmosphere, leave kids with a baby sitter so you can really enjoy the finer dining experience.
An amazing and mind blowing experience that I newer experienced before, we were a party of 8 and we ordered almost everything on the menu and each dish was unique and authentic. The Braised ribs just melted in my mouth, there are no words to describe how happy we were after the experience
It was ok. We went for brunch. Almost everything has chocolate in it. The crabcake sandwich had a ton of filler in it. The shrimp and grits had a whopping 4 shrimp in it. The pancakes were interesting in that the pancakes were layered with chocolate, banana and peanut butter (I think. I didnt try it.). The French toast was quite custard like. My daughter liked the dessert she had.
Excellent food. Unique chocolate treatment to many dishes. Fried calamari is awesome. Not inexpensive but worth it
Loved everything! From my cocktail to appetizer, entree, and dessert of course! Quite an experience - its not every day you can see a flambe dessert or can watch your dessert being made. Have already planned to go again.
First time coming to this place. Very disappointed. Made reservation for 7pm and had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Had to sit outside in the cold to eat. Service was very slow on top of that. What is the point of making a reservation? Not sure if I would come back. Lots of people were complaining. Maybe they had an off night? Who knows.
This place is amazing! The food are great, drinks are phenomenal and if you’re looking for delicious desserts, then this is the place for you!
A variety of interesting options here, however the menu is a bit more limited for Saturday lunch. They put chocolate in everything. Its actually pretty good. There were a few crispy bits in the avocado poke bowl I had. It was decent, though there was more avocado than all the other ingredients combined. Friendly service though, Id be willing to try again for their brunch to check out the extended menu.
Great food & service. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful experience.
🥳 This place is absolutely spectacular! The banana cocktail was a surprise that started the night amazingly. We enjoyed the avocado flatbread, sweet and sour cauliflower, calamari, and finished with the famous Manjari dessert. All 10/10 and all worth the prices.Shout out to Randy! And to our curly-haired host! You guys made the overall experience 11/10!
Great ambience, so posh and we solely went for drinks which were very good! I cant wait to return for dinner as their dishes were full of enriching aromas!
The appetizers were good, but didnt blow me away; however, the entrees were fantastic. The service was pretty slow on the Tuesday I was there and was one of three tables, though I didnt mind as we were having good conversation.
Our first time wasnt what we expected the kitchen messed up our order, then ran out of it (very few vegetarian options); but our server was amazingly polite and apologetic. Manager was there but never once spoke to us which I thought was odd. Desserts and drinks were delicious.
Everything was outstanding: the service, the food, the atmosphere
I cannot say enough good things about the Conche! Josh, our server was spot on-funny, attentive, but not in an intrusive way, and incredibly funny and charming. The food was amazing from menu description to presentation. Crazy creative cocktails and desserts and chocolate to die for. You really need to treat yourself if you already havent.
Good food great drink amazing customer service.
A truly special place. Chocolate-lovers paradise and the chef is a genius in how he mixes chocolate into every piece. Theyve done a great job with Covid too. Two thumbs up!
This was a great restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We had an excellent dinner
I had a lovely glass of Kundie Zinfandel and the delicious Manjari desert at The Conche. My server, Justin W, was polite, responsive, and professional. The restaurant also has hilarious chocolate cicadas right now. I will recommend this place to anyone visiting Leesburg.
Good Food, Great cocktails, excellent ambience. A little pricey but it’s certainly worth it. Perfect for a special occasion, not a meal you will want to rush through.
Very good food but very pricey.
My wife wanted to give this place a shot for a lunch date. The lunch menu wasnt as robust as the dinner menu, but the food was fresh and flavorful. I had the Conche Burger, my wife ordered the poke, and we shared an order of garlic and parmesan fries. Afterwards, we shared a Jivara (Whipped Milk Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Cake, Passion Fruit Caramel Sauce,Passion Fruit Gelee, Passion Fruit Sorbet, Cocoa Meringue). We absolutely loved the Jivara and all of the complex flavors that were matched perfectly. We even learned that the restaurant offers cocktail and chocolate making classes (for kids, too--probably not the cocktail classes) :) . On the way out, we picked up some seasonal sweets for the kiddos at home. Well definitely be back every season to see what they whip up for the display case and well definitely be back for a nice, classy meal.
The atmosphere, staff and food was incredible. I ordered the sea scallops and my husband ordered the braised short ribs. We both couldnt stop talking about it. We cant wait to return!
Good place for brunch food was very good, great atmosphere, plan on going back.
Best meal Ive had in a while. Tip: go during the week cause its less busy.
Very pricey for the meals. For lamb on a slice of toast .. $21... was great food but not for the price.
Cant even wait to post how good this place. Still here eating dessert. The flavors in all the meals and drink were amazing. The service is phenomenal. Definitely will be back very soon. Honestly want to come here for every meal. Rude Barb and Fetish drinks. Flat Iron Steak and Harissa Chicken for dinner. The Conche Entrement for dessert. Really cant say enough must experience for yourself. Just that good!
Ask for Devin. Some of the best food I’ve ever had.
Very cool place and a great experience overall! The desserts are very unique and really fun to eat! Fantastic chocolate and great service!
Did Christmas Eve dinner here. You worry the restaurant may get lost, or caught up in the idea of chocolate, but they don’t. It’s a creative place, and good atmosphere. The drinks were strong, well balanced and a delight. My only issue with the entire experience (very minor) is that they were pricey and I’m on the fence about whether it was worth it.Started out with the Bacon Mac N’ Cheese, it was crispy bacon, and came with a chocolate covered bacon strip.Ordered the NY Strip medium-well. It was perfect. Had cocoa incorporated into it, and a subtle spice, if you could call it that. Usually like steak without a sauce, etc., but glad I deviated from the routine. The potato purée and broccoli seemed simple, but were amazing.Dessert was fun. Ordered the creme brûlée/churro option. All of the desserts seemed like they would have been wonderful.Had our five year old son with us. Ivan was our server, and was awesome.
I called and made a Mother’s Day reservation on 4/28/21 at 5:48pm for 5ppl at 12pm. The girl that supposedly took care of my reservation apparently didn’t even book it. The girl said someone would be calling the day before to confirm with us and I never got a call. This worried me so I called the restaurant on my way there on Mother’s Day to confirm, and just as I feared, no reservation. At this point they can’t help me because they are fully booked. I wish I took down this girl’s name because she royally screwed my Mother’s Day. Very unprofessional and I’m done with this restaurant!
The food and drinks were very good also Randy was awesome.
The waiter was super nice but it is very expensive. The entree menu is limited to about 6 items and the portions are small. The food wasnt bad but it didnt make you say wow thats good. The dessert, however, was delicious and the drinks were great. So if you want to go to a place for dessert and really good drinks then this is the spot.
