These are delicious donuts and come in a variety of flavors. They are more expensive than a traditional donut place however that’s to be expected with the specialty items offered. They are very fresh and always sell out very quickly. These are perfect donuts to bring into the office or to a special event. The online ordering option was very user friendly and convenient! They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Convenient parking with the free Leesburg parking garage located directly across the street. The shop doubles as Churology in the afternoon.
Such a pleasant doughnut spot located in Leesburg! I have seen so many amazing reviews about this place and decided to try it out.One bite is just heavenly...so one doughnut isnt enough. I tried the chocolate, vanilla, coffee and the chives one. Oh..and a vegan coconut frosted one.I would definitely suggest getting there in the morning before they open (8-8:15) or just wait in line. This way youre guaranteed to get one of their signature / popular flavors. This is the type of donut shop that stays open until theyre sold out or until 1 p.m. That kind of goes to say a lot about it... Theyre really good! The shop is not very big and can get crowded. They also sell churros but I havent tried it yet. There is a parking lot across the street, as well as some street parking.
I probably just had a unique experience, but it wasn’t a good one. I went on a Saturday and the store opened late. When it did open there was one lady behind the counter that seemed overwhelmed. I wanted to get a doughnut, but I didn’t see any doughnuts out at B. Doughnut. There was a lot of churros being made, which she had to do herself as well as ring people up and make their got chocolate. I just felt bad for her. I ended up leaving because I didn’t want to wait for what seemed like an interaction that could not leave me with a doughnut.
Donuts are my favorite food, and I feel confident stating that B.doughnut is the best donut place in Nova. The scrumptious glazed donut has a dough similar to Dunkin 🍩 and the glaze of a Krispy Kreme. The donuts definitely bring on nostalgia, but you know they are way better than anything you had as a kid. Also, the malasadas are incredible! It feels like youre in Oahu at Leonards. B.doughnut, you are a dream come true♥️
I actually havent tried it yet but Ive heard the donuts and other items are amazing. If you decide to go on a Saturday or Sunday its best to plan to get there a bit earlier than when they open. Ive frequently seen a line to go in
The doughnuts were great! We only had the sweet ones, and they were amazing. Not too sweet. The chocolate filling tasted just like clouds of the best chocolate milk. The lemon curd was definitely hand made, and the berry jam was perfect. The shop is adorable with convenient parking. The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
The donuts here are some of the best I have had. So far, I have only tried the green tea and strawberry donuts. They were sold out when I arrived at 11am on a Sunday, and they said they would have more coming out in 30 min. It was worth the wait. I would suggest getting there early, because they sell out fast. The dough is soft and and buttery, it almost melts in your mouth. The icing is just the right amount of sweetness, and its not smothered with icing.I will definitely be coming back here when I am in the area.
Love love love B Doughnut! The line out the door is definitely worth the wait. I would eat these any day over Duck Donuts. My favorite is the berry filled one! But you really cant go wrong with any of them. You can taste the quality ingredients in every scrumptious bite you take. The owners are also very nice and very involved with the community.
The best malasadas ever. If you are a donut lover then this will be your favorite place. You can’t go wrong with any of the filled donuts. The chocolate and vanilla are filled with whipped cream, not your standard overly sweet filling. Awesome place that you should try!!!
I waited in line about half an hour for these donuts. They were tasty but not life changing. Id wait fifteen minutes but thirty seems a lot. These are raised dough, not cake like duck or fractured prune, so theyre at least unique to the area.Oddly my favorite was the Homer, arguably their simplest one.
Dig the savory donuts (lox/bacon & cream cheese). Could pass on the sweet filled (chocolate cream tastes like a snack-pack). The donut bread itself is nearly perfect in taste and texture and Id wager the unfilled donuts are excellent. A bit expensive, but friendly staff. Certainly worth a try.
These are not your typical donuts. They have a delightful lightness to them and delicious, but somehow not to sweet, fillings. I had to try their famous everything donut and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
The chocolate cream filled donuts are actually the best. I love donuts. They are literally my favorite food and Ive driven far and wide to find the best donuts. These are definitely the best ones Ive had in the DC/Northern Virginia area. A+
Overpriced way to get diabetes. I dont get it, nothing special about these donuts. Yeah, perhaps unique flavors, but nothing to get overly excited about. Save your money, save your health ...
The donuts are great! They have a wide range of flavors both savory and sweet types. Favorite part is the cream filling since they dont skimp on it and its well made.
The staff is very nice and helpful! The savory donuts are my favorite but go earlier in the day since they sell out quickly. Once when I got there, they had already sold out of the kind I wanted. They offered to add on to a similar doughnut to make it like the verity I really wanted.
Wife dragged me. Hole in the wall but a few seats inside. Seems more like a grab and go. Fast service. The varieties are very interesting. All filled donuts and the layout is pretty cool. I had the pumpkin pie because its fall. The dough wasnt too heavy and the filling was tasty but not overwhelmingly sweet which I was worried about.
Their donuts remind me of my moms homemade donuts. Nostalgic, good memories! They often sell out of my favorites, before I can get in! I wish that didnt happen!
Very unique place. Not your typical donut so dont expect glazed and cake. The dough is light and not super sweet. Flavor is good and they have savory donuts which are worth a try if you can get over the weirdness. Im really not sure its worth the price though. One of our savory donuts was $5! The normal ones were around $2.50. Im a donut snob and try everything and this is definitly worth trying once.
Deeeelicious donuts! Make sure you get there early because theres a line and they sell out fast. The everything bagel donut is revolutionary! Worth the drive to Leesburg and the wait in line.
Amazing Doughnuts... Crew served it well and very attentive. very good customer service.
Doughnuts were good! Ill go back! I like that the parking garage is across the street! Free parking on the weekends! The place is really small! Really the only downside. Take baby carriers, no strollers! Coffee was good!
Now called Churrology, this quaint little churro shop is a delicious twist on the small-town donut joint. What it lacks in room for large parties to sit it makes up for in flavor. We always make the extra drive for a sweet treat after Sunday lunch.
Update: Their coffee cream doughnut is one of my favorites (on the rare occasion they have it). Otherwise, they really suck lately. Randomly closed or have a limited selection left, and the past few times the customer service has been poor. Also, apparently you cannot park in the back in the spots marked B Doughnut? So where do you park? The paid garage? On the street? It takes two minutes to walk in and order (assuming their isnt a line, which there isnt for most of the day), but the parking situation makes it not worth it. We wont be coming back...
This is the best place to grab some Doughnut, they have special flavors and offers plus the price are reasonable the place is a little cute and nice.
Worth a try!Visited here for the first time a couple days ago. Its a cute little shop in downtown Leesburg with some tables on the inside and a couple more tables and chairs out front. The woman that got our donuts was very friendly and helped point out all the flavors that were left. It was a great experience. We got 5 different flavors. The three star review is because they all tasted kind of like Chinese donuts. Thats not a diss but when I eat a donut (which I honestly do about once a year), I like to get a classic donut with the hole and all. Im not big on filled donuts and that seems to be their specialty. Our of the 5 flavors we tried, coffee stuck out as my favorite, the savory bacon, cream cheese and chives was kind of a fun change, but the chocolate filled was my least favorite (which is sad because I usually love chocolate frosted donuts).I have tried duck donuts and like them. I love fractured prune, just to give you an idea of the kind of donuts I enjoy. My husband loves these donuts over all the rest in the area so we stop by frequently 🤷 So! All that being said, they are worth a try. But I will likely not frequent here as they dont cater to my tastes. But that doesnt mean others dont like it, as you can tell by the good number of 5 star reviews. Give it a try if youre in the area!!!
Diabetes in a box, but so good. They even had one for me, no sugar with bacon. Well worth it as the occasional treat. I might even try the berry one. I hope the unhealthy eaters continue to keep them open so we can have treats on occasion.
Tasty, though overly sweet donuts and friendly service. However, the hours arent reliable. We went at 10:30am yesterday (hours 8-1) and it was closed because theyd sold out their single batch. We drove from Herndon and werent so keen to be there right at 8 on a Sat morning. We decided to get up early today and went back, getting there at 8:08 to find a short line.If Im nearby and theyre open, Id stop in for a pandan (my favorite and the least sweet), but I wont get up early again for it.
They have vegan doughnuts! That being said, they were just okay. Nothing to write home about I had forgotten that I was not a huge fan of deep fried foods. The non-vegan ones were just okay according to my partner. The best one was the everything bagel doughnut.
B Doughnuts used to be amazing before all the expansion. Now the past few times weve gotten doughnuts they just taste stale and like their few days old. Very disappointing as we used to love these but quality has significantly decreased.
I first tasted these doughnuts at the balitmore location and fell in love. Sadly I cant say the same about this location, starting with the service the girl at the cashier was not very friendly or welcoming. The doughnuts seemed much smaller then when the business first opened. I was disappointed in the lack of items that claimed not to be available. The outside seating area was dirty and unpleasant and did not give me the feeling of wanting to stay. Even though this place has been featured in a magazine and has a lovely Instagram acct the lack of originality has been lost. It does not feel unique and customer focused at all but more like a business idea turn into a franchise.
Love this place. Hate that theyre Open til Sold Out. Talk about a disappointment to get to your favorite doughnut shop only to find out theyre out of the delectable treats. My personal favorite is the Everything, but the chocolate frosted is also REALLY tasty.
I really wasnt impressed with the donuts here. Not sure if my palate isnt refined enough to enjoy these or to justify the price of these donuts but I just dont understand the hype. We spent $12 on 4 donuts...I did try a savory donut and found it tasty, would I go out of my way for it? Nope. The malasadas were ok but not great.
EXCELLENT service! Amazing everything doughnuts and nitrogen cold brew coffee! Such a wonderful establishment, I would highly recommend.
We visited the Mt Vernon Marketplace popup today and we were impressed with the freshness of the toppings on the savory doughnuts (we had lox and chive) and my son was overwhelmed with excitement at being able to consume the nut-free vegan strawberry and lemon flavors. Two big thumbs up.
Came during their open hours and surprise surprise they were closed. Great way to run a business
This was my favorite place for sweets, but lately its changed. Today my cream filled donuts, had very little cream...almost nothing, and for the price, they should be stuffed! So disappointed! Ive given them several chances. I wont be back. Sad!
The specialty Donuts were very good. The regular donuts were just overpriced. The staff was very pleasant and the restaurant was clean.
Delicious doughnuts. Nice and fresh! Love the Everything and Lemon vegan glazed.
Possibly the best donuts on NoVa. Better than Duck Donuts. These are a yeast donut (as opposed to a cake donut). Really amazing taste. The filled sweet donuts are excellent. They also have savory donuts like bacon or lox.Why not 5 stars? The business model, where they are doing some sort of weird artificial scarcity thing with standing in line, running out of donuts, etc. Its painful.
I have tried to go there multiple times before noon and they have always been sold out. I may give it a try again and then give up if no luck. If I am able to eventually get something, I will update this review.
Yesss! Every time! My only complaint is the hours and reliability of B being open, but I guess that adds to the exclusivity of the place.
Rated best doughnuts by both my kids. We the best in DC, New York, London, and Barcelona. I love their savory doughnut the most.
Im just confused how there could possibly be any one-star reviews for this place. I lived in the midwest for several years, a donut haven of sorts, and these donuts rival the best I ever had there. All the ingredients are clearly very high quality, flavors are true to form and excellent in the fillings, and the donuts are decadent and delicious. Personally, Ive really enjoyed some of the specialty donuts, but classics like cinnamon sugar, lemon curd, and vanilla filled just really hit the spot for me. Be sure to get there on the early side, they seem to often sell out before lunch and may run out of the flavor you want! You might expect to stand in line for a bit too, so probably not the best place if youre in a big rush to get to work. Also, you may not want to take these to the office because then youll have to share them ;)
Get here early because they sell out really fast and theres always a line. Also the donut with everything bagel seasoning sounds weird, but its delicious.
These doughnuts bring me more joy than most humans.
Ugh people are obsessed with this place. Its just OK. The reason the line is out the door is because theyre wildly inefficient. I think the owners like it to look like theres something happening there, when its just greasy donuts with filling. Yes, its fresh, yes, some of the flavors are interesting, but its not worth the wait or the money. Coffee is average. The Thai iced coffee is good. Its clean, but nothing great.
I love this place so much, specially if Im craving for Doughnut this is just a perfect place to be with, I have been here for a couple of time and really enjoy the service and food..
Very good. Different texture of a donut and not overwhelmingly sweet.
Well crafted doughnuts, but order online before hand or get there early before the option of flavors become minimal.
Incredible donuts and they are peanut free! Best donuts ever and so fresh!
Cute shop, needs help on branding but great doughnuts. Sometimes a line, try the cream cheese and bacon, yummy!
Selection runs out fast, the donuts are good, but not great, and they underfill their filled donuts. Donuts cost around $3 each, which is way too expensive. We paid almost $28 for two small coffees and seven donuts. Crazy.
Fantastic doughnuts!!!!! Not really your typical doughnuts that were accustomed here in NOVA but more like 1/2 beignet and 1/2 doughnut. Worth the trip out there!!!!!!!
Ive tried this place a few times. I am a huge proponent of doughnuts and was so excited for its opening. Taste-wise, I was not disappointed. The doughnuts are delicious, and I mean DELICIOUS. No rings here; all options are spherical, filling or otherwise. Yeast, too, which is preferable. But, they are vastly overpriced for the product: like $2.99 for a doughnut the size of a baseball. I know the medium income in Loudoun is high, and Im sure the lease on the place is no small change, but if I wanted to get a dozen for my coworkers, Id need to stop by Wells-Fargo for a bank loan. Sarcasm aside, price is not the damning aspect of my B. Doughnut experience. I bought an iced coffee (pricey) from them, that tasted like straight tap water. Im no coffee snob by any means, but you could tell the color was a bit too translucent. No problem, this stuff happens. When I asked for a refund or a different coffee, they said theres nothing we can do. They were more concerned with moving people through line than fixing a problem. I get it, Ive worked these sort of jobs, but come on. Really turned me off to the place, and I hope they get the customer-service aspect down.
Ive tried top doughnuts in many places such as Barcelona, New York, and London... But this is the best place by far.
Use to have one in Baltimore and they were awesome! Next road trip south will include a stop here
Set my alarm, got up early on my day off, waited in line, and was only allowed half a dozen. Not worth it. I just wanted a dozen to share with my employees and was willing to pay the $30 to make the sale. Why turn down guaranteed profit now? I did what It took to get there early enough to be able to get them. Its not like Im asking for some crazy large order...what doughnut shop wont sell you a dozen? I love the product, but I personally dont go to such lengths to go out of my way for just a doughnut or a few. I dont think a dozen is too much to ask for.
Great freshly made homemade donuts. These things are fantastic.
HiI never write a review! Today after I got off of 12 hrs shift I thought I stop by B donut in One Loudoun. I called my daughter and told her not to eat breakfast! I got to B donut at 8:03, tbey were open but as soon as I went inside, the lady told me that they r opening at 10 ! She said she can sell me anything bec tbey r saving them for grand opening at 10:00 am! She did not even asked me how many donut I want!! Wow what a costumer service!! Was she really becoming short in donut if she sold me 4 donut!!!
Wonderful hard working people with awesome doughnut and coffee making skills. B. Doughnut makes me B. Happy.
Vegan doughnuts in Leesburg! Also, the doughnuts are SO good! Highly recommend, but go early!
Stumbled upon his place while working next door and gave it a try. I got 3 doughnuts, the homer, the milk chocolate and lemon curd . These are by far the best doughnuts Ive ever had, better than any corporate chain, sugar shack and duck donuts are medicore compared to this. Anynody leaving a bad review doesnt know good doughnuts, I live 45 minutes away and will be coming back.
They definitely sell out early. The everything bagel donut is so completely worth it.
Great staff, interesting varieties of doughnuts, etc, but taste is a bit meh.
Finally got up early enough to make it before sell out and it was worth it. My son ate all the doughnuts we were bringing home for his father so Ill take that as a thumbs up!
I recently got the Lemon Curd doughnut and holy batman it was delish. Im not one thats big into sweets but this was the prefect combo of sweet fluffy doughnut and tangy- lemony-sunshine in your mouth filling.
Great, get there before the run out
Great tasting doughnuts. Daughter and I waited about 20 minutes in line outside. Inside cozy, not cramped. The vanilla was great. Coffee doughnut mediocre. If you try the bacon/cream cheese or other everything bagel doughnut suggest you eat it first ... like an entree. Took a couple of small bites to adjust to the taste not being sweet. Online orders accepted a day before you pick up.
Fantastic donuts. Filled donuts are very worth trying.
The savory doughnut was definitely the best by far. The other doughnuts were good but nothing to write home about. I would have given them 4 starts but it was $33 for a dozen doughnuts. They were good but not $33 good.
Doughnuts are great, but service can be poor
Good doughnuts. But not worth $3 per doughnut
Delicious doughnuts, although they told me they were no longer making the Homer, which is my favourite, and usually what half fills my box. Damn
Just left now. Worst customer service ever. The Asian female named “Charlene” has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. In fact, I left without making a purchase. Me: “is that strawberry?” -Charlene: “ it’s a donut with red dye and sprinkles.” As we stood there trying to makeup our mind she said in a snarky tone, “we close in 7 mins.” It’s 2:00 on a wed, which is an odd time to close, but that’s a different story. She didn’t say hi, she didn’t smile once. She clearly didn’t want us there, so I obliged her and promptly left. If she isn’t the owner, she needs customer service training.
Best donuts ever! Get there early because they sell out fast
20 dollars for 7 donuts that taste just like fried dough with a little glaze.
The Donuts are only slightly better than Duncan Donuts at 4 times the cost.
Donuts are amazing and now they add churros to the menu OMG soooooooo good! Keep it up you guys you are doing a god job!
Love the donuts! Always has different donuts to try! Pairs well with their coffee!
Great! If you can grab em!
A little pricey for a doughnut but definitely worth it since its different!
Best doughnuts around so they normally sell out prior to posted closing time. Not cheap but really good. Strange that they dont have WiFi for customers to use. These are real yeast doughnuts.
Loved the donuts but hated the coffee. I dont like the wait in line, only allowed to buy so many, closed when they sell out business plan.
Some tasty fresh home-made donuts.
Had their doughnuts at a pop up they had in DC for a while. Believe the hype people. They are my second favorite doughnut joint in the world. They beat out Blue Moon doughnuts in Portland and came really close to General Porpoise in Seattle. Sweet or savory the doughnuts here are all awesome. Run, dont walk. The sooner you get in line the sooner you can get your tasty treat. Youll be so happy you did.
Good coffee and perfect doughnuts... While they last
Quality good, but prices lil bit high
Very different from Devil, Duck or any of those other places. The donuts are light, not cloyingly sweet and so dang fresh! When the nitro coffee is available, its a perfect combination. Check their Instagram feed before heading over there as they sell out quick. I have been there for when they open at 730am and the line is already 4-5 deep. And make sure you try to get there early on the weekends before the doughssants sell out. They are the first to go!
B. Doughnut is probably one of the best doughnut shops in the DC area, it has grown to be one of my favorites. They serve up malasada-style doughnuts, with a selection of sweet flavors and even a couple savory varieties. The doughnuts are soft and chewy on the inside and have a crisp bite from the sugar coating. Its sounds unusual to have a savory doughnut but it totally works here. Think of an everything bagel in puffy doughnut form filled with cream cheese and either bacon or salmon. As you take a bite you are instantly hit with the everything topping and the savoriness of the cream cheese filling. Its the perfect grab and go meal. For drink selections they serve Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee in addition to hot and iced coffee. It is a little on the pricey side but I think its worth every penny. They also have a rewards system which should encourage you to visit as much as possible to enjoy their offerings!
Got up early Sat, drove 30 mins, showed up 10 minutes before they were scheduled to open and they no showed. Just a sign on the door “sold out”
These doughnuts are absolutely delicious. They are the puff style rather than what you typically see at Dunkin Donuts. There is a variety of glazed and filled, even with some savory (e.g. bacon and chive). I personally dont care for the savory flavors but thats just me. My biggest issue is the price: a standard glazed donut is $2.50, and it goes up from there for speciality or filled types. Combined with the typical line out the door, its something we only treat ourselves to
Amazing!Excellent doughnuts and great coffee. Also, very nice service!
