They straight up lied to me. They tried to tell me the sway-bar bushings I brought in for install were not compatible. I have the car at a different shop right now and they confirmed the bushings are correct and are installing them. These guys clearly dont know what a sway-bar is, or they just didnt even try. I was surprised given the reviews for K & S. They will say ridiculous things to get out of doing work. Even when money wasnt a problem for me.

My wife, children, and myself are from Mississippi and were making a cross country journey during an extended vacation. Our SUV brakes were in poor shape by my standards in spite of having the dealership making two attempts to get it right. I contacted a good friend of mine, formerly from Lehi, and he quickly referred me to K & S. They were professional and efficient. They fixed our brakes the following morning, notified us of the time it would be ready and the cost, and everything went exactly as it should. I was traveling from Washington state to Utah and started hearing a grinding sound when in reverse. I was able to make it to Utah but was concerned that I had a brake issue. Upon recommendation from a family member, I took the Car to K & S Auto to diagnose. Within a couple of hours I receive a phone call that the car was fixed!The sound was coming from a plastic shield under the car that was missing a pin. Most likely left off when I had the oil changed by a different shop.Sean and his crew were fast and I appreciate their honesty. While they could have taken advantage of my emergency situation, they didnt. Thank you for your help!

Brought my car in due to it throwing some codes. They worked on my car and couldn’t fix the issue. Most mechanics would have charged an arm and a leg even if they didn’t fix the issue. These guys didn’t charge me a dime. Although my car wasn’t fixed, they gave me options and it was a professional experience. I would recommend anyone to this place.

The employees seemed helpful. But Im not sure what to say about this place yet. My vehicle is still not fixed and I know they have replace several parts and its cost quite a bit. But it seems like they have dismissed the main issue by saying I need to go to the dealership. So maybe that is true. I had to return the vehicle three or four times within one month to K&S. But it just seemed like they didnt want to continue figuring out what was really wrong or worried that it was going to cost me too much. Honestly if its too costly and not worth the fix then Id like to know and maybe that was there way of letting me know. Maybe though it would take them to much time...they are so busy they needed to move on to more important issues? Not sure Im impressed about my experience to recommend them to everyone yet but I cant say did anything wrong. ... To answer the response below; The heater is fixed but the other issues with the timing and parts etc. that seemed to come apart at your shop are the things that are still a concern where many things were replaced ($$) but it still has the same issue with the timing. So after all that was done it was abrupt how it was dismissed as something that needs to be done at the dealership. So maybe we should have started with that first? Hind sight is 20/20. Things happen but maybe it could have been handled a bit better.

I’ve been going to this shop for my vehicle needs for a few years now and I have to say they never disappoint. They are very consistent, honest, fast and they stand by what they say. Good shops are hard to come by but I know when I go to k&S they will get the job done right. This company deserves more then 5 stars and I will be returning to them for my future needs. They are honest. We have gone to them for years. The per hour price seemed high to me before, (back in 2001 when we first started taking our cars to them). After using them I realized that the prices are honest. They dont charge for time they dont spend on it. They have given me quotes and then charged less because it took less time than they estimated.We have saved a lot of money because they are honest with their customers. These guys are our go-to guys. We highly recommend them.

I was referred here by some good friends. They had glowing recommendations and they were lived up to. My problem was diagnosed quickly and fixed quickly as well. I was not sold any additional services that aren’t necessary. My stated problem was diagnosed and fixed. I even sprung a smaller issue on them last minute and they were able to take care of that too. I highly recommend them and will be coming back here in the future.

My truck started to overheat so I called my favorite auto repair company. They diagnosed it and explained what went wrong. They were able to replace my radiator the same day for a great price. Colton was super helpful!Ill definitely work with them again... but hopefully not for a while lol

It is so hard to find an honest mechanic these days, but I think I finally did it! These guys are great- they arent trying to rip you off, and genuinely want to help you get back on the road.

Shawn was great to work with. I had a coolant leak and he found the hose that was leaking and gave me more information on how to fix it myself. I offered to pay but he refused to take any money. K & S is awesome! Ill be back with any repairs I need.

For 20 years I went to Advanced Automotive in Orem, Ut. When we moved to Lehi, James recommended K & S.Great service, prices were good. Pleased, and will return again.

Trusting my Truck here cost me $4k. I took my truck to K&S twice. The first time was to get a muffler welded on. After paying for a new part - the work was not complete. On a second chance I took it back to get my engine diagnosed. I was assured, multiple times, that it needed a new engine. It did not. It had less major issue in needing 2 cylinders bored. I dont trust their assessment or the quality of their work.

So there is this stereotype, that auto repair joints like this are just out to rip you off. While this is true with many establishments, K&S is the POLAR OPPOSITE! We have been using these guys for years. They are honest to a fault. They value your patronage. They do quality work, and I mean quality. Theyve kept a 2005 Grand Caravan that looks like it got punched in the nose at a demolition derby running for three solid years, and running well. We recommend to anyone who asks, or to anyone we overhear. K&S is such a rare gem that, should I move to a different state, I would make the drive here just because I know I will get my moneys worth.

So I called at 11am to get an appointment, they got me in at 1pm and out before 1:35. Super fast, honest, and friendly. My biggest pet peeve with auto shops is not knowing their pricing. K&S has it posted on a huge TV in their lobby. It’s have everything you can imagine with it’s corresponding price. Thank you for helping me. I will definitely come here first.

I found K&S auto many years ago. I had been given an estimate of $300 dollars from someome else to fix my transmission lines. I took it to K&S they tightened a clamp on the transmission line and didnt charge me a dime. I have never gone anywhere else. They are HONEST! Thank you K&S.

I have dealt with K & S on MANY occasions. They were recommended to me by a friend who had used them for several years. That recommendation was 15 years ago. They are friendly, and knowledgeable. They have always been fair with me. Many times they have not taken payment until I took the vehicle and drove it for a week or so to make sure that they had the problem solved. They have dropped cars to my home and picked them up. they have always been willing to give me a ride either to them or home when needed. Its a breath of fresh air to have a shop to take my car to that I ALWAYS know that I will be treated fair and have the job done right. I recommend K & S highly.

We had a trip planned to take our family to the Grand Canyon. The afternoon before our trip my car began making a terrible grinding noise. I was sure we wouldnt be able to get it fixed in time and be forced to cancel all our plans. I called around and no one could get our car in for days. Then I called K&S. I told him our situation and he offered to look at it as soon as I could get it there. He was very understanding and diagnosed the problem in minutes. He then went above and beyond, working late to get it repaired so that we could still leave in the morning. He was so kind to my children and wouldnt let our family miss our trip. The price was very fair and the car made the 10 hour trip easily. I would highly recommend K&S to anyone!!

The dealership told my wife she needed a new rack and pinion on her van. I looked at it and saw the boots were torn so she took it in to K&S. They called us back and said there is nothing wrong with the rack & pinion other than the boots, and that its our power steering leaking. So what would have cost us over $1,600 at the dealership and wouldnt have fixed our steering problem, these guys fixed for a little over $600! They could have just replaced the rack & pinion like we wanted and made some extra money and then told us about the power steering leak. But they were honest, sent us pictures and videos of the problem, and saved us a ton of money. THAT is how business should be done. We have used them for other repairs as well and they have always done a great job. We HIGHLY recommend them.

I have come in to these guys with 2 separate car problems and they were both helpful and fast. That is hard to find with most auto repair places. I would come here again without a doubt.

They were fair and could have charged my much more than they did for diagnostics, but seemed more interested in finding the problem than nickel and diming me.I would give 6 stars if it were an option.

This company is trustworthy and amazing. I have had a difficult time in the past trusting auto repair shops to be honest and fair. The owners of K&S are amazing. They run an honest shop with fair pricing! They have always provided timely service to our family and work vehicles. We spent over $3000 addressing a major issue on a work truck with Les Schwab a couple of years ago and they could never correct the problem. These guys made a fix for less than $100 that corrected the problem. I will never trust another shop, these guys have earned my business for life.

Ive been here a lot recently. Their prices always seem fair. There have been occasions when they havent charged me at all. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are reasonably quick for how busy they are.My only complaint has been that they often dont call when my car is done. I usually have to call and check on the progress, and theyll say, Oh yeah, its done. You can come get it whenever.

My experience has always been positive with the staff.With regards to pricing, they seem to be fair and not gouge their customers. (I even had one experience where they did not charge me, though I was willing to pay for their time / service. No parts or installation were involved, in this case.)You may have to call and check on your vehicle, after a reasonable amount of time--based on what youre having done. I have not always received a call when my vehicle was ready.Best shop that I have found in the Lehi / Saratoga Springs / American Fork area, so far.

These guys went above and beyond what I would expect an auto shop to do. I recently had them replace my air-flow sensor and decided to get new tires at the same time. The work was done quickly and the service was friendly. However, one of my tires went flat, and I called and asked them to look at it which they did. They then requested to drive to my home and replace my tire, and bring the car back to the shop to check all the tires and add sealant to the rims. They finished and brought my car back (all without charge), I even offered a tip for great care of the car and for their service, but they declined. Class act.

Been gouged a few times here now. Wanted over $200 to replace a simple battery. Then charged me $40 when I took my business elsewhere. Recent headlight bulb replacement cost $60.

They are dishonest. I took my car in and asked them to give me a call if it was over a certain dollar amount. Well, they just went and fixed the car without giving me time to research or shop around. Then, they charged me 4-5X the price I asked them to call me about. Needless to say, I was mad when they finally told me how much it would cost, but then they acted like jerks. They told me with a condescending attitude Well well just take the part out and you can have the same problem even though they wasted 3-4 days of my time. Terrible customer service, some of the worst Ive ever experienced. They didnt even offer me a discount. All I got was a weak sorry.

Twice my car broke down away from the town and they came and towed it in without charging me. They promptly fixed the problem and I have always been very satisfied with their level of service and expertise. Took my car in recently and they diagnosed it to need coil pack and plugs, which I expected as it was missing terribly. After they installed those parts, they called and said it was running better, but there was something deep inside wrong. The week before I had found somehow the oil was down over 3 quarts. They said it had apparently scarred the engine and it would soon fail. They took all the parts off and told me it was no charge. You never expect to see such integrity in a business
