Mountain States designed some lovely floating shelves and a two-person desk for our upstairs bedroom/now office! Excellent quality and craftsmanship, and the installer did amazing work. This room was completely transformed, and has been used regularly as a second home office. We also gave our kitchen a facelift by painting our old cabinets, and thanks to Mountain States, installing a new custom island (with warming drawer I might add!) and marble countertops. It went from ho hum to a show stopper room without breaking the bank. Thank you to Jerry who provided great design and customer service. Would highly recommend.

The cabinets were high quality and sturdy. We did a color match for the stain and had a custom stain made. It turned out beautifully. The only problems we had is the sink that was included is a low quality sink and had scratches within the first couple days. Also some of the holes for the adjustable shelves were too big on one of the cabinets making two of the shelf positions unusable. The installer (Mauritzio) was phenomenal. Overall we are happy.

We had Mountain States Kitchen and Bath remodel our kitchen and were extremely pleased with the result. Their designers were very insightful and helpful and suggested ideas that we had not thought of. The construction of their cabinets is quality throughout. Cabinets, shelves and drawers are constructed with ¾” plywood throughout—no particleboard. Drawer glides are full extension and gentle close. Cabinet hinges are hidden and self-closure. Our installer was personable, highly competent and did an outstanding job. Fit and finish is first quality. Ian and Jerry did all they could to ensure that we were satisfied with their product and installation. They went above and beyond expectations and the cost was very reasonable. We were so pleased that we recommended them to my wife’s sister last spring when she completely remodeled her kitchen, and the result was outstanding. Excellent quality cabinets, custom fit, precision install, fair price, great service.When we called for an estimate, Jerry Sims was available and showed up on time. He gave us a ton of great advice, 3-D color renderings, and a quote on the spot, without any funny stuff. No crazy upsells. No inflated estimates that had to be negotiated down with gimmicks or other nonsense. In fact, he made suggestions that would help keep the costs down.When we wanted to make changes, and more changes, Jerry was always patient and accommodating. When we wanted some unusual features, pull-outs, and other upgrades, he was again patient and accommodating. He suggested an appliance store and worked with them to design and size the cabinets appropriately for the appliances we selected. He coordinated with the slab yards where we picked out our granite, and with Rock Solid, who did an awesome job with the countertops and sink, including a waterfall edge, and granite backsplash on the range wall.Mauricio is not only the nicest person you will ever meet, he is a real craftsman. Jeff gave us the white glove treatment. He never tried to rationalize or invalidate any question or concern, no matter how minor or slight. I was so excited to work with this company after meeting them at the home show and researching the reviews. Jerry came out and we talked to him about the gorgeous finish they had at the show. He put our bid together with us while we sat there and when he got done, I asked him if he remembered that finish. He said Yes, thats what I quoted you for. Thinking maybe he didnt understand, I clarified that I only wanted that finish on my island. He told me that all finished cost the same. It seemed weird why he would have quoted for one and then suddenly they were the same price as regular paint. It didnt feel right, so the next day, my fiance called the showroom and Graham told him that indeed, the custom finish costs more. So if we were quoted based on all the cabs being that, then clarified we only wanted it on one cabinet...wouldnt the quote be different? Nope. Not at all....after waiting for a call back and review of the quote from the owner or manager, turns out our bid is for the custom finish price, with regular painted cabinets. It all seems very sketchy to me. Their cabinets are beautiful and their finishes stellar. But they have a long way to go with consistent information and truthfulness before I would ever spend $20k with them to redo my kitchen.

My Wife (Susan) and I first walked into Mountain States Kitchen and Bath just about 18 months ago. We knew that we had a large project in front of us; with a major re-design and upgrade in our kitchen, dining area and adjoining bath - and were just a bit overwhelmed. We were greeted at the door by Dave Lindenlaub; and from that point forward we were very well taken care of by he and his entire team. (This was the case even when we came upon a challenge or two - with our existing home design. These great folks always presented positive ideas and solutions!)Dave and his team are extraordinarily knowledgeable, professional, well trained, positive, patient and kind. Not only did they create a marvelous new living space for us - they also became good friends. We will most certainly be going to Mountain States again. I most highly recommend them!

We did a major remodel in our house and had the opportunity to work with Jerry. He was awesome to work with. He came to our house and went over a couple of different options we could do. He was very patient with use because we did change our minds a couple of different times.Right before the cabinets where built Mike came over and remeasured to make sure that they had all the right measurements. He also drew the outline of the where the cabinets where going to make sure we where happy with the placement and that everything was going to fit right.The installer (Cant remember his name) did an amazing job. He had 3 different levels on each cabinet to make sure that they where perfectly level and all the corners matched up perfect.After the job was done Mike called a couple of weeks later to make sure that we where happy with everything.Fast forward a few years later and one of our hinges broke (Not there fault it was my kids fault). I went in to purchase another hinge and they were so nice and just gave me one.We will definitely go back to have them do our bathroom cabinets and counter tops.

We worked with one of their designers who provided an amazing new design/layout for our kitchen, laundry room and master bath. We fell in love with mahogany wood for our cabinets and Vida helped us create a design around that choice. The quality of our cabinets is so high plus the function is wonderful. The install was professionally done and they worked with us to resolve some color issues that showed up in the natural wood. We love the results. We are very happy.

We worked with the designer, Vida, and her designs BLEW US AWAY! She had so many incredible ideas and completely transformed our kitchen and study. Vida thought of things we had never even considered! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was complete perfection. Now that our remodel is finished, people ask us what we would change or have done differently. It is so fabulous to be able to say, NOTHING! ITS PERFECT! We had Mountain States install white craftsman style cabinets in our home. We were very satisfied with the process.Their quality was exceptional.The cabinet boxes are made out of solid 3/4 plywood which was standard with their product. They are very solid boxes. The finish on the cabinets is amazing.Over the years we have had several home remodels and new builds and the installer from Mountain States was by far the best. We have worked with Graham on three projects in the last 10 years. As a designer he has an eye for detail. Grahams designs are beautiful, they are not ordinary or contractor grade. He listens to your wants and gives good ideas and suggestions to choose from. We have loved all of his suggestions. His ideas really gave our cabinets character and made them truly custom. We get tons of compliments on them. We highly recommend Mountain States and for sure ask for Graham!!

I contacted to get a bid, and the salesman was so rude treating me and my wife like we werent educated. When he told us the price of the remodel he said, You cant get Chinese for that. Who makes comments like that. Because of how we were treated we wont be using them for our home remodel.

Anytime I texted or called him with my many questions he always promptly got back to me and he kept the project moving forward. The quality of the cabinets are superb- I wanted a custom hood vent and the people who built them did it beautifully- the vent fit perfect when it was installed. We recently completed a remodel of our kitchen. We used Mountain States for the cabinets and granite counters/backsplash. We are very pleased with the results.We worked with Graham to plan our cabinets and granite. I cant say enough good things about him. He was very pleasant to work with and responsive to our needs. Finished product is great! Finished product deserves a five star rating, we did have a few hiccups with service BUT they did make them right and end result is great. Working with Graham Spedding at Mountain States Kitchen and Bath was a wonderful experience. Graham designed the most beautiful new kitchen and custom office furniture and we absolutely love it. Graham came to my home and listened to my ideas, shared his honest thoughts and his ideas and then designed my dream kitchen. The quality and price of the cabinets is better than anywhere else I looked. Working with Graham was a great experience. He has an eye for detail, was always available when I had questions and everything was right on schedule as promised. The installer is very professional and did a beautiful job. I am soooo happy with my brand new kitchen and my kitchen expert Jerry. From start to finish I was taken care of and my kitchen is perfect. Jerry helped me to design everything and thought of small details that I didnt. I appreciated his expertise and his knowledge. My finished product, from flooring to cabinets, to back splash is superior.

Graham was a dream to work with and I loooovvveee my new kitchen!! The quality of the cabinets is fabulous -- extremely great quality!! -- and Grahams design ideas were wonderful and worked so well! He thought of things I never would have. Ryan was my installer and I was so, so happy with him as well. Mike (Ryans manager? Project manager?) was also fantastic. Just a very, very great experience for me. My son says, This kitchen is the best room in the house now, and I spend more time here than any other room these days! I would highly recommend Mountain States (and actually, I have already done so, to several friends and family members).

Wes was great to work with. Our daughter installed new granite and someone recommended Wes to her. With her excellent experience with Wes and Mountain States, she recommended them to me.Wes came out right away and explained everything in detail. He sent us to the granite warehouse where we got to select our granite slabs -- not samples, the actual slabs. He then immediately scheduled the installation. It was sooner than we expected and had to hold them off two days. They accommodated us with excellent communication all throughout.Two days before Wes called to say they had found imperfections in our slabs so they had to substitute for those. They replaced them with exactly the same type but without some hairline cracks. We appreciated that. They still made our installation date.The guys who installed went about their business promptly, tearing out our tile with little mess -- that they cleaned up anyway. After the tile was up they noticed our window sill was higher than it should be for a perfect horizontal installation. Without complaint they added some plywood to make up the difference and proceeded.It looks GREAT. My wife loves it.

Graham was so great to work with! I love my new kitchen, it is exactly what I wanted. Everything was done on time, all the work in his expertise exceeded my expectations. I would work with him again on any kitchen or bath project!

I was impressed with Mountain States from day one when Jerry showed up at my home and even more impressed by the final product, quality and craftmanship of the cabinets and the granite countertops. Jerry did a great job designing the kitchen and was very professional in all he did as well as keeping things on schedule as promised. The day the cabinets were installed I was so very pleased with the job Mauricio did. He took the time to make sure everything looked great and it was as if he was doing the install in his own home. His work ethic is awesome.

I would give them 100 positive stars. They are amazing!! I seriously can not say enough good things about them. They really listen to what you want and the quality of work is amazing. I have had their cabinets for about a year and half now and they still look as amazing as they did when they were installed. I have talked about moving a lot over the past year, but I cant bring myself to leave my kitchen. If you are thinking about new cabinets go see these guys.

Mountain States was the first cabinet quote I got. I liked them, but after getting a few other quotes, I decided to go with another company, one that was the least expensive. ..Well almost decided to go with them, until I started finalizing the paper work and found out they were going to charge me a separate price for glass and a separate price for hardware and a ridiculous upcharge for a custom paint color. So they werent really cheaper, just not inclusive of everything in their pricing. So I changed my mind and went with Mountain States instead and Im so glad I did. Not only do they do full overlay cabinets (beautiful), but they were able to fit me in quickly and my kitchen was done in almost half the time of some other kitchen remodels I know of that were done this year. The installers were professional and they fixed any requests or concerns I had without nickel and diming me along the way, even though it meant things like adding a new panel or fixing other issues on the fly. I felt like they wanted me to be happy with the work and everyone was really kind. Plus my kitchen looks fantastic.

IN SEPTEMBER OF 2015 WE WERE LOOKING FOR SUBCONTRACTORS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE REMODEL OF OUR HOME. WE CONTACTED A SOLAR COMPANY WE FOUND ON-LINE.. WE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM TO COME DISCUSS THIS WITH US. AT THAT TIME THEY INFORMED US THEY ALSO DID CABINETS, COUNTER-TOPS, WINDOWS, AND MANY OTHER ITEMS. WE THOUGHT THAT WAS GREAT AND THEY SENT THEIR CONTACT TO US TO DISCUSS THE POTENTIAL FOR UTILIZING THEM FOR THIS WORK. WE MET SEVERAL TIMES AND FINALIZED OUR PROJECT TO INCLUDE ALL CABINETS, WINDOWS, SINKS, COUNTER-TOPS ETC.WE FEEL THEY OFFER A BAIT AND SWITCH PROGRAM FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF REASONS: SENT BY THE SOLAR COMPANY, THEY TOLD US ALL SINKS WE WANTED AFTER SHOWING THEM THE TYPES OF SINKS WE WERE LOOKING AT WERE INCLUDED, WE TOLD THEM WE WANTED QUARTZ COUNTERS AND SHOWED THEM THE TYPE OF MATERIALS WE WANTED THAT WAS COMPARABLE IN THEIR SHOP. WHEN WE WENT TO THE STORES THEY SENT US WE WERE MADE TO SELECT OTHER MATERIALS BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WASNT IN OUR PRICE, WHEN WE WENT TO PICK OUT OUR SINKS TOLD THE ONLY THING WE HAD WAS A PLAIN WHITE SINK IN OUR BUDGET.WE HAD MULTIPLE FAILED ISSUES SUCH AS THE WINDOWS WE PICKED OUT AND TOLD THEM WE WANTED WAS A CHOCOLATE BROWN AND WHEN DELIVERED THEY STARTED TO INSTALL WERE AN ALMOND COLOR, WAS TOLD THE ONLY FIX WAS TO PAINT THEM AND WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT, WE HAD NUMEROUS MISMEASUREMENTS, MISSED WINDOWS THAT WERE CLEARLY ON OUR PLAN, THEY BROUGHT THE REAR WINDOWS AND OUR FRAMER TOLD US THEY WERE THE WRONG SIZE. WHEN CONTACTED THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO REORDER AND WE WOULD HAVE TO EAT THE COST OF WINDOWS. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BRING THE OTHERS OUT FOR US TO USE IF WE WANTED SOMEWHERE ELSE, BUT NEVER DID. THEY WANTED US TO PAY FOR THESE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR ISSUE AND THEY STILL HAD THE WINDOWS. DUE TO ALL THE ISSUES WE MADE AN AGREEMENT TO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING FURTHER UNTIL DELIVERED ALL MATERIALS TO THE JOB. THEY NEVER DELIVERED ALL MATERIALS. THEY TRIED TO EXTORT MORE MONEY FROM US EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER HAD ALL THE MATERIALS AT OUR HOME FOR INSTALLATION. WE HAD TO COMPLAIN OVER AND OVER ABOUT THEM PULLING THEIR INSTALLER OFF THE JOBSITE AS WE WERE GOING TO BE HOMELESS AND HAD A TIMEFRAME TO MEET. THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD MEET OUR DEADLINE BUT NEVER DID. THEY CONTINUED TO TRIED TO EXTORT THE FINAL PAYMENT FROM US WHEN THEY HAVE NEVER HAD ALL MATERIALS ON SITE. THEY HAVE PRODUCED SUBPAR WORK LIKE THE COUNTERS WHICH ARE NOT FINISHED, THEY HAVE NEVER PROVIDED ALL THE INSERTS THEY PROMISED, THEY HAVE MADE CABINETS IN THE BASEMENT THAT ARE NOT DEEP ENOUGH TO HOLD ADEQUATE STORAGE, THEY HAVE LEFT A DANGEROUS SITUATION IN THE ISLAND AS IT ISNT SUPPORTED AND WE HAVE GRANDCHILDREN, THEY HAVE USED MATERIALS THAT ARE NOT EVEN MATCHING SUCH AS THE FACING ON TH PENINSULA, THEY HAVE BROUGHT DOORS THAT WERE SOLID WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE GLASS IN THEM, THEY HAVE MADE A CABINET THAT COVERS OUR DRYER VENT AND WE CANT USE THE VENT, THEY HAVE ROUGH SEEMS, SCRATCHES IN THE COUNTERS, THEY NEVER MADE AN ADEQUATE STAND FOR THE REFRIGERATORS TO STAND ON, THEY HAVE CABINETS THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ACCESSIBLE STORE INSERTS THAT DONT EXIST, THEY EVEN MISSED AN ENTIRE CABINET THAT WAS ON THE DESIGN THAT WE HAD TO POINT OUT AND THEY FAILED TO FINISH THAT CABINET WITH REQUIRED INSERT FOR GARBAGE. THEY HAVE PUT US IN A SITUATION THAT MY 83 YEAR OLD MOTHER HAS MOVED TOFLORIDA TO LIVE WITH OTHER FAMILY BECAUSE IT WAS SO DISRUPTIVE AND STRESSFUL. SHE LIVED HERE IN THIS HOME FOR 55 YEARS. THEY HAVE NOW REFUSED TO FINISH, STARTED A LAWSUIT EVEN THOUGH WE AGREED TO PAY FOR THE WORK AS LONG AS IT WAS FINISHED TO OUR SATISFACTION AND ALL MATERIALS AND INSERTS BE PROVIDED. THEY AGREED BUT RESCINDED WHEN ASKED TO KEEP THEIR WORD ABOUT THE INSERTS. THEY WOULD RATHER PAY AN ATTORNEY THEN PROVIDE THE MATERIALS THEY AGREED TO PROVIDE.
