Don’t go to this place! Extremely unhealthy menu. Strong odor of very old oil when you drive up and walk in the building. My cushion in the booth had big hollow spot the whole length. Hope some changes get made so this restaurant can better serve the community.
Extremely unique feel. They have their own style of doing things, and thats definitely worth experiencing.
Loved the cheesy steak burrito I got when I went. The only down side was the bathroom was a mess and things were either broken or didnt work hardly at all. I suggest coming here closer to 6pm before it gets so busy that they cant keep up.
Good fast food while on the road headed out of town. Basic diner food.. I feel like food used to be better years ago but we like the fries and scones. We stop everytime we head out and back home regardless. Cute, clean place.

My husband and I went to breakfast with our kids that came from out of state. We all loved the experience. If you havent ever been there just know that you go in and find a seat the menus are at your table and you pick up the phone and order. Then you go pick up your food when its ready and all of the condiments and silver and everything are there that you take back to your table. The food was excellent. I had the French toast and it was delicious. My husband had a full breakfast that included sausage bacon eggs hash browns and pancakes and there was so much food he couldnt finish at all. But it was all a very pleasing experience and a great place to meet our kids that were passing through the state. The wait time for our food was not long at all it was quick hot and delicious.
First impression- it’s a bit dirty. But seriously- 1 booth per day, some great cleaning solution, a scraper, some paint, fresh stickers duct tape and a screwdriver to remove some of the old dirty fixtures and this place could be spruced up in no time at very little cost. The idea is totally fun! Coffee wasnt very good. People were great though. Food was general diner fair nothing fabulous but it was afun. (Add shakes to the menu 😊)
FANTASTIC!!! So happy we discovered this little green of the main highway. The feel of the 1950s with outstanding good. We WILL be back. 🙂👍

This place had decent food but was just filthy and almost did not eat their after walking in. Was just praying I did not get sick. Luckily I did not get sick.. Will not be stopping by again.
Traveling and wanted a sit down meal. Came in and ordered a Philly with just onion, said no peppers no cheese and a hamburger. Went to get my meal and there was cheese and pepper. I said I am allergic to pepper and I ordered no cheese. The cook got nasty with me about it. Then she said she would remake it. Went back to the counter when it was ready and there was heese on it. I just took it because she was already nasty with me about it. The girl told her it was supposed to be just steak and onion. Then I took a bite of the sandwich and i started having issues. I tasted pepper and started having an allergic reaction. When I went to tell them my food was still wrong and now I am having issues they still charged me for the sandwich. Unbelievable not even a sorry for the inconvenience. Thankfully I have my epipen. Cannot believe I was charged for this food and got treated as poorly as I did. Customer service skills are below par for the middle aged female Cook. I dont usually write reviews but needed to do this one.

Drove into the driveway and that’s as far as we got. It just looked dirty and run down just from the outside and so I checked the reviews. A lot of people experiencing dirty dining so we decided to pass and look somewhere else to eat.
That chicken fried steak is to die for! The scones were super yummy and the shrimp basket and cheese fries were bomb! 💋

Dont go in here expecting a normal restaurant. When you go in, you seat yourself wherever you want. The menu are on the table. When you are ready to order you pick up a phone on your table and you put your order in that way. Once you put your order in, go get your drinks and your condiments. When your order is ready, they will be a buzz at your table.I ordered the Fort Worth Chicken. Bbq chicken with onions bacon & green chiles. I get the salad instead of fries. My boyfriend got the Wolfman Melt. Both dishes tasted good. My only complaint is that the prices were a bit high since there was no wait staff. The drink refills were self serve and when youre order was ready you picked up your food yourself. I expect to pay these prices at a full service diner.I would probably stop by here again but order something less expensive off the menu.It was also the only place opened on a Sunday evening in Nephi. I am grateful for that.

If you are coming home from southern Utah and everyone is hungry for breakfast but you cant wait till you arrive in Utah or Salt Lake County make sure you eat here. Its 10 seconds on and off the freeway. You get a chance to stretch your back. Your kids can order their food by phone which is cool. Our food, consisting of pancakes waffles, eggs, bacon and toast was ready in like 5 min. We were in and out so fast--at least 4 times faster than Dennys and the food was Awesome!
Lots of flies, phone took forever, water tasted weird and soapy.Only thing that keeps this at 3 stars is that the food was fine, and not overpriced.
What a great bunch of people! We ended up broke down on our way home and they allowed us to use their restroom, get water, and sit at their outside tables until help arrived! Oh and the food was great! Thank you so very much!
Absolutely amazing! We had the grilled chicken salad and the liver and onions. Everything tasted great! Cant wait for our next vacation we will be eating at the One Man Band Diner
The cafe was 50s-60s cute, clean..the unique order by phone, buzz you to come pickup your food was not something I would come back to repeat. The prices listed online were not the prices listed on site.
Slightly disappointed by the fact that there was 3 people working at One man band but they are quicker that way, and its a fun atmosphere. The food is good and portions are on par for the price. Very good fries, cooked golden and crisp with seasoning and served with fry sauce. We finished with the 8 piece carmel and cinnamon desert. The caramel dipping sauce was warm, and they are Delicious! We planned to save half for later and ended up eating them all!
Went here while visiting family. Was very good and friendly staff. I think my Sis knew them all they eat there so much. New place for me to stop when we pass through.

We drive 1 hour to One Man band to Nephi and 1 hour back home because we enjoy it that much.
This place just didnt excited me. Its basically a do-it-yourself via phone deal. But it is all in such a tiny area that it just seems like a gimmick. The food wasnt particularly good (I mean its great, if you like canned chili nuked when you order), and service was far from friendly (until it was time to tip). It was OK. It is close to the interstate, but I wouldnt bother to do it ever again.
Friendly service. The Tomato Florentine was amazing. The Blue Moon Burger was exactly what I expected. We will definitely dine here again.

Never will I go back to this place. Food was not that great. I had an egg biscuit sandwich and the biscuit was very dry. When I went to pay they had the audacity to charge me for water. They charged me 4.78 for 2 and I only got 1. The man at the counter looked very young and clueless. And would not fix my bill. In America water is for free. I should of not gotten charged almost 5 bucks for water.

Best waffles I’ve ever tried, if traveling through Nephi this is the place to go to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very good food and low prices and good customer service.

Place was definitely not hospitable. Food looked great but on closer examination was not going to take the chance of getting sick from eating unthawed salmon that tasted like rubber. Definitely would not recommend!

The only reason I give it two stars is because this restaurant has my favorite hidden Valley golden honey mustard dipping sauce (The Golden horseshoe at Disneyland that used to have it as their honey mustard dipping sauce but they have since gotten rid of it). Other than that they have great lunch specials but the food is sub par at best. We went in at 1 pm, no one was there. It looked really fun on the inside and this place is just like “Training Table” (A former Utah classic) so I had high hopes going in to it. We got 3 of the 1/4 with cheese lunch specials for like $6 not bad! But the service was sub par! The bathrooms were disgusting, I started thinking that this whole restaurant is really ran by one person. But then I saw a second person later on. One of the tables was a complete mess the entire 45 mins we were there. The food came and the meat on the burger was that cheap style meat that you get for like a few bucks. (Really, it tasted like the 40 pack of burgers you get at Sam’s Club for $25). We couldn’t finish the burger. Macdonald’s has a better meat patty. Cool thing about this place though is the condiment bar and soda bar pretty much have everything out there for you and you can just grab whatever you want so that was nice. We definitely probably won’t be stopping here again, maybe other things are good on the menu I am not sure.
I love the food and one of the cooks named Sid is a good guy and good cook but the other cook is very ornery and Unwelcoming I like the food but I most likely will not eat there anymore
My hamburger and fries were good. My wifes Philly steak sandwich had hardly any meat. The lady preparing the food had a bad cough. Eewwww

The nephi One Man band is an excellent place for breakfast lunch and dinner. their cooks are wonderful and the food is delicious. Best one man and Ive ate at!

If youre into little diners, then this is place to check out. To order, you use a phone at your table, the cook answers and takes your order. Its then cooked, and when its ready the cook buzzes your table and you go pick it up and pay. Boom, youre on your way to enjoying a meal cooked by one guy.To top it off, the food was pretty dang delicious.

Excellent food and service. I always get their salmon, with their steamed vegetables which is fantastic for any diet and their scones are cooked perfect.

With the type of reviews this place got, we were slightly disappointed with our visit.Food: We got the country fried steak plate and biscuits. The steak was a good steak if you know what you’re looking for (for me that was crispy but not overly greasy, nice evenly thin slice of meat). The bacon was what you’d expect. Hash browns were plentiful and eggs cooked to order- nothing wrong there. The biggest issue was with the biscuits and gravy. We got extra because we love them and were disappointed. The gravy was thin and so, so flavorless. The biscuits were good but the gravy made it all taste like mush. Maybe just skip the biscuits and go with the flapjacks and you’re experience will be different.Cleanliness: the old phone idea could he cool, but with COVID and the overall non-cleanliness was a big turn off. Tables were not sanctioned off and tables were not frequently bussed or checked for crumbs.

Disappointed. Cons- Not even one employee was wearing a mask.....not while cooking, serving or handling the register. Tables not marked/closed for social distancing. My entree was described as similar to a Monte Cristo, but it tasted like French toast.. Pros- The fries were great! (Which is what earned them the 2 stars I gave them.)

We have been there twice. I really liked the food. We were not expecting much from a small town restaurant, but this place was good. I did tip the cooks. Takes a little while to get use to the place. You call in your order from the table. There is a phone at each table. You get your own sodas and mayonaise and ketchup at designated area. You can have conversation about old time 50 and 60s photos on the wall. You can play old time music there if you have coins. It is afun place to eat.

Food was ok, nothing to crazy. Just a normal diner fast food kind of thing. Staff was not very friendly. But the bigger issue was their COVID precautions. Only one person on the staff was wearing a mask while he moped the floor. The other cooks/servers all were not wearing masks. It made me question if they were even disinfecting each booth after each use. And since you order with a phone from the table it was a little unsettling.
We placed an order to go at 8:30pm. Both our hamburgers we great!! We ordered a mushroom burger & mesquite burger, both were pleasantly tasty.
