Jerry is fantastic at teaching the class. He keeps it light and fun, but very informative at the same time. I would highly recommend you take his class. He is incredibly enthusiastic and you will learn about the applicable law, safe gun handling, and more likely than not, something about your gun you didnt know in addition to home defense.

I am very new to guns and laws and all that goes with it. Im excited about it all, but this course made everything clear and fun. Fingerprints and pictures and applications are all included in the course and price, and Jerry really knows his stuff. Had a great time, and also got a bunch of good quality ammo for cheap! He also fixed my action slide release on my handgun for a great price so now my own gun is easier to use. Very interactive, productive, fun, easy course, would recommend to anybody and everybody. Larry is a great CCW instructor. He covers all the information in detail, sprinkled with personal stories. He takes time to know his students. The instructor (Jerry Gowans) was very knowledgeable about current gun laws, as well as the operation of guns themselves. Hes very personal in his teaching methods and really helped me, and the class, get a good understanding of everything related to concealed carry. He made the tedious process easy and quick, and I actually felt like I left the class better informed and more prepared. We went through all the required paperwork and background checks there at the store, and I left with the firearm that same day. Jerry (the owner) showed me how to take my gun apart and put it back together, as well as helped me with various draws and tactics. The class I went to was a small group of just 4 persons, which made the whole experience very personal. It was a great class, the instructor was very knowledgeable and cleared up questions we had regarding Utah Law, handling guns, and safety. Highly recommend.

Taking this class from Jerry was a really fun experience. We had five family members in the Class and it moved fairly quickly. We are each very familiar with guns, gun safety, and the laws but we still each learned something new. Even though the class is a serious nature Jerry kept the mood light and entertaining so it was never boring.

Just took this concealed carry class with my husband and it was perfect! Im not super into guns, but my husband is, and since I run a lot he wants me to have a cwp just in case he can talk me into carrying. Jerry was great! He even fed us lunch :) It definitely helped me feel more comfortable with guns if anything! He really was so patient with me, but also could answer all of my husbands more knowledgeable technical questions! Incredibly smart, and we highly recommend him!

If you need a concealed carry permit, this is the guy to get it from. The class was super informative, entertaining and I left feeling like I learned a lot. Jerry Is a great teacher and super knowledgeable. He let us stay late to ask any questions we needed answered and then we chat for awhile and took a look at some sweet guns. Highly recommend his class.I also bought an LCP from Jerry, when I initially bought it there was something wrong with the gun and it needed to be warrantied. Jerry was nice enough to call the manufacturer to ensure that everything would be taken care of. And he even shipped it for me and everything. I got the gun back a week later. When it arrived he showed me how to take it apart and clean it. The gun functions perfectly now and I carry it all the the time. All and all great experience.

I took the CCW class and I was pleasantly surprised. Its just a small class of 2-5 people so you get a lot of personal, hands on learning which makes the class much more enjoyable. This guy is also very knowledgeable with guns, from buying your very own to any gun smithing you may need from an experienced armour. I took the Concealed Weapons Class about a year ago from Livefireone. The class was very detailed and they made sure that you were comfortable with the entire process and all of the laws. They were thorough and I feel 100% confident in handling my concealed firearm thanks to Livefireone.

Jerrys CCW class was incredible. His knowledge of firearm laws and safety was exactly what I was looking for in a class. When comparing my class experience to the experiences had by friends and family who took other classes, I am surprised at how much more I learned.
