The Home Depot in Lemon Grove has a wonderful machine close to the front of the store. Its a DIY One Minute Key Machine. Its so easy to use, it literally took one minute, okay maybe slightly longer, but certainly better than waiting for whoever knows how to make keys to get back from their break or whatever took them away from the key machine. The price is $2.98 for one key. It guides you through the steps and makes sure you dont forget your key. New and improved technology is wonderful.

The store is slowly getting it inventory up. Electrical products were close to out of stock. I own a pool service and repair company. We were just sightseeing this trip. Staff was very helpful. We were in the Appliance section. By the way we went close to 6pm and those who were shopping at that time.... were very few. Nice Ta!

Ive been coming here for years. Great employees,very knowledgeable and friendly. Usually pretty fast service. Lots of parking including plenty handicap spots. Great selections for all your house improvement needs. Very competitive prices. Extremely fast moving line to gain entry into the lemon grove store. Kind, courteous and friendly associates eager to assist at every turn. The guy in the paint dept went out of his way to assist me in hardware. I was extremely surprised and satisfied.

I go to HD often. On this particular trip, I dont know why, but the help and attention I received made me feel so special! Im not being silly or kidding. I think the name of the person who helped me was Gabby. I actually wanted to ask her why, but my heart became so full all I could do was say thank you.

Rented a truck for a quick move of furniture...Staff was great and fast. Had to show ID and proof of insurance. Real simple and fast. I will use them again for sure.

This store is always busy, and carries a solid inventory all the time. Well organized and staff are very helpful all the time. They are experienced in their specialties.

Was in the store today and treated rudely and disrespectful by an employee name of Erika. It was a duplicate purchase of one made in June. I mentioned she could look up the product sku on my pro account last order. Not even acknowledging that I spoke, she went looking for the code at another register, and then another employee offered her his phone he had looked up a code. It ended up being the wrong one, when it was totalled it was a much higher price than I had paid. Again, I mentioned that I had previously purchased the same item on my pro account and to please look it up. She attempted but seemed like she couldnt be bothered with it and went to talk to another person to talk about the item number. A third time I mentioned that I had a previous order and another employee heard and found the order. Erika blew it off and then told a newer employee what to do to complete the order. It still came out higher than previously paid, and I mentioned the military discount we had that was applied the last time. Again I had to mention the previous order and to please give me the same price. She said that wasnt happening because she couldnt get the military discount entered. Finally the multiple employees were able to enter a discount, but it wasnt what I received in the past. I finally asked to speak to the store manage who looked like he was over worked and exhausted. He said he couldnt give me the same discount given last time because they had made a mistake. I need this product and had budgeted the past amount so this was a surprise to end up paying an additional $60. I use to work for Home Depot and would never had been allowed to behave like that employee. Her disregard for anything I said and lack of customer service has caused me to drive an additional 20 miles to a Lowes to shop.

**EDIT: additionally, the employee who called me to process my return hung up on me.*the worst Home Depot. Purchased two items and they SOLD THEM to SOMEONE ELSE before my contractor even got there. The customer service desk was completely unhelpful and inept. Just go to Fairmount instead. Home Depot is... well, Home Depot. Usually, they have at least one or two choices of most things and the staff knowledge is usually hit or miss, but this particular visit to the Lemon Grove location I have to give mega props to Shay, who after hearing her depth of knowledge helping another customer (which was not an easy or common situation, that she nailed it spot on after walking the guy thru with the proper questions to decipher what he was trying to explain), she was able to help me come up with two possible tweaks to properly solve my own not-so-common plumbing issue. She knew the store, the products, theyre location and had the type of knowledge that really only comes from experience. In any case, she was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful (saved me a decent amount of coin, too!). Never underestimate the expertise of a lady in such cases guys, she knew more than most guys I know who practice the trade!

I went to the roofing section. I was there for 20min. I looked up and down the adjoining lane. NO HELP!!! The nice man in plumbing tried to help. Now I have to make another trip 🙄

I used to think they had everything, after these past 3 days, I see they are limited in their variety of a lot of things. That really surprised me. I used to really depend on them for anything related to hardware. Lowes seems to stock more than Home Depot now! Oh well...

Great place to pick up home repair parts and equipment

The closing manager, Will, and the other staff on shift bent over backwards to help me in my time of need. The store had been closed for over a half hour when I came by, and they reopened a register just to make sure I got my equipment back in time. Tools also worked perfectly, could not recommend a better rental service.

My home Home Depot has What it should have and runs smoothly as it should run......... No wow factors tho.

Very messy! So much stuff displayed on front ailes, near cashiers areas, theres also people in lined. Its hard to go through n not safe especially for handicap people.

Jenaya and Cameron in the garden section deserve employee of the year or something special. They went so above and beyond trying to help me find a resolution to a bug problem. I brought the bugs in a bag and they tried their best to help me identify them. They were so understanding and asked thoughtful questions trying to help find a solution. They gave me a recommendation for a spray so hopefully it works! 10/10 customer service. I came in stressed and angry and their efforts helped me feel more relaxed and in control of the situation. Thank you Jenaya and Cameron for the amazing customer service.

I rate this way because to get service at the pro desk is so hard I dont understand how HD thinks that wasting Pros time is good for business everytime we stand in line and no one is helping we are waisting time doing nothing while associates are talking to each other.

Well what can i say, the last few special orders ive made have been very frustrating! They dont communicate with the customer, they dont take accountability for their mistakes and give you the runaround. The only reason im giving 2 stars is because the only people that were helpful where they guys working outside, helping me load my order. A huge thank you to them! But to be honest the home depot is getting worse.

A young associate named Nick gave the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. He has s fresh mouth, very condescending and his overall attitude was poor at best. Also, he had trouble keeping his mask up and he didnt seem to care. I asked for a manager and conveniently he or she because no one knew who was in a meeting.

They are fairly well stocked. Found all I was looking for and more. Given assistance to get merchandise to my car. Was parked all the way at street. Very pleSed.

Its a home Depot. They are all pretty much the same which is a good thing.

Other than their prices going up quite a bit on certain items, like for instance the small bucket of 3 pool tablets from $22.99 to $34.99, I was Surprisingly pleased with their service.

Oh my goodness, what a deplorable place. very dirty, unkempt, and cIuttered. There were absolutely NO employees available to help or answer questions, and everything on the shelves was covered in a nice layer of dust. There were pallets of goods crammed in the aisles, so much so that it was impossible to safely navigate my way through. Way to go, Home Dumpo, way to go.

This trip was to pickup lumber and screws for my daughters IKEA cabinet, but my House is full of appliances bought from Home Depot. Salesman and delivery crews cant be beat!

Employees know their sections so they can take you quickly to what you seek. Always a good choice especially if you need some help.

Home Depot, again, did not disappoint. I needed a man-made (see artificial) X-mas tree, some lights, and lo and behold, they had the perfect tree for me. My daughters were sad I had not gotten a tree, so just a week and a half before Christmas I went to HD hoping they would still have Something. The pickings were sparse, but Exactly what I was looking for was still available. So daddy happy because daughters now happy.

Please dont look for me in this store. Just let me get lost and stay lost until my legs and back give out. They keep their shelves stocked. They are willing to help you when you ask. They have almost everything. Oh yeah, they also honor their word when an item is mispriced. The cashier kept apologizing about ringing up a different price(correct price) from what I saw(mismarked price) that I wanted to pay the correct price, but she said she had to ring up the price I saw. I am a gadget person, DIY person and a craft person. Home DePot is one of my Favs.

An experience I will not forget. The other day I was shopping with my dad and he was at check out. The cashier Cartini and Brenda were polite and courteous. They took their time in explaining to my dad how the Home Depot reward system works. I appreciate the dedication to great customer service.

I love to shop at Home Depot! But today I saw a construction truck parked in a Handicap parking space right in front on the entrance. A Home Depot security guard walking around the parking lot walked right up to the truck, turned around and kept walking without checking to see if the truck had a Handicap Placard or License plate, which it didnt. That is not customer service on the part of Home Depot.

Lots of stuff here but if your buying an appliance right now they are 3 months behind on back orders. We Ashers, dryers, stoves, and fridges.
