Im NOT being a Karen, but its astounding how unprofessional this crew is. From management on down they could give a F less. Called 5 times today alone... hung up on 3 left on hold 2. Went into the shop and its a bunch of unsupervised 12 year olds talking about how wasted they still are from the night before. Every other Evans isnt much better. Not sure why its SO bad... but it is. Oh, and 3 brands of basic truck tires are 2 weeks out.

I went it with a flat tire at 4:30pm on a Saturday evening and really thought I would be leaving my car there till Monday because they close at 5pm. But they went above and beyond! They fixed my tire after hours. I’m so grateful for their customer service! Highly recommend.

I had an appointment for four new tires and an alignment at my local dealer. It was an excellent experience all around, customers were provided with clean bathrooms, complimenty coffee and television while waiting. Very happy with the service and friendly staff!

After seeing the ad for $54 tires, I drove to the closest Evans Tire. They had sold out, but the guy looked up two nearby stores who carried those tires. I drove to the next store where I got excellent, personal service (Jamacha Rd). While they were installing the last pair as I arrived, she called around to other stores for me. She found them at the Lemon Grove store and had them held for me. I drove to the store (Broadway) and they got me in right away. Within an hour, my new tires were mounted and balanced at the exact quoted price.Ill definitely return next time!

My tire was ordered at the wrong location. After arriving at this one yesterday, i was forced to wait yet again. The guy was supposed to “call me” once the tire got there, NOPE. Had to show up again and hope it had arrived. Just purchased the tires in June and they tried to charge me full price instead of the road hazard price. Ladies, be weary of these guys.

Great tire service and very fast! Even though there were lots of customers and vehicles ahead. Also got the 4 for 2 tire sale.

Just went in for an oil change. Front desk guys were efficient and didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. Had to wait a little bit more than 1 hour, and that was because my air filter was crazy dirty and needed to be replaced. They didnt have my filter in stock, so wait was getting my filter from another Evans Tire. Only bad part was their sitting area bathroom was out of order.

I had a battery issue and they saved the day! Walked in with a battery purchased from AutoZone. Bought it then realized they dont install on cars the have their computer directly connected.. I walked across to Evans Tires and they were able to install it within 20 minutes.Prior to all of that, one of their technicians actually approached me and offered to help, not even being a customer yet.SO helpful and thankful for their team.-Silver Jeep

Not only I had a big nail on one of my tire but I had problems starting my car. He got the tire patch up quickly and showed concern and what I should get fixed right away.. also their website was nice as it shows the actual total price no hidden cost. The warranty immediately kicked in! They prorated the new tires, installed, stem and balanced for an unbelievable price!!! When I arrived no other customers were there. These guys were busy and understaffed so it took longer than i anticipated. The tires were installed properly. Disappointed that the wheels were left grimy and the new tires were not left shiny and new like i have had at other locations. Over all i am satisfied but underwhelmed at the service.

Went to Evans tires yesterday in the morning because I noticed my front tires were on metal. The manager recommended a high-end Goodyear tire set. I also asked them about camber kits as a few years ago they weren’t available for My pro master city van. They were able to find the parts and install the kids in the tires so that I could pick up before they closed. They didn’t have the tires in stock and still got them in time. My car drives like a brand new car it’s amazing. I love the tires it drives smooth quick and I’m actually centered Driving down the road for the first time in years! Lemon Grove Evans tires is the best!

I went in for an oil change and during their inspection of my vehicle they discovered that my tires had cracks in them and needed to be replaced as well as a serpentine belt was worn, they put 4 new tires on and replaced the serpentine belt quickly at a fair price. Very happy with service I received.

I was driving to work this morning (Thursday Feb 11th, 2021), when I got a flat. I was only about 1/4 of a mile from the Lemon Grove Evans Tire shop, so I pulled in to their parking lot. They were semi busy, so I prepared mentally to be there for at least 2 hours or more. Nope, they were able to look at the tire right away and it was unreparable. So I asked if they could replace it; they could. They had the correct size in stock, but I decided to buy two because I will not replace only one tire on an axle because it can cause later alignment or driving issues. Since the new tire was a different brand, this is why I replaced both as mentioned above.The work was done quickly and efficiently, and I got to work before my first English class of the day was finished. I am a teacher if you could not guess. 😀 The store and lot were small compared to the Evans I usually go to, but the employees utilize all the space well.

I am very disappointed. Its was closing time when I picked up my car so I was unable to check a few things. I paid 19.95 to have a relearn done on mytires computerr system which was not done. If it was, I left there with my tires at 34 and 39 PSI when they should be 40 or if nothing else the same. My question is why were they different if the relearn was done or not. Also I was charged $29 for tire protection which I did not want and did not order I have that through my insurance company as well as AAA. So the customer service was okay but the work and communication was below par. I called and left a message regarding these issues and had to go out of town for the weekend Im hoping I can get reimbursed or get these items taken care of in a timely manner. In this day and age with everything going on moneys tight people arent working $29 is actually a lot so its 20 to not have my problems taken care of.

I always enjoy the immediate attention provided by this location. The salesman (RJ) was professional and attentive. He recommended the proper solution to my tire concerns, and even took the time to explain the problem. I had previously researched tire replacements, just in case needed. The tire cost replacements were average upon tire types reviewed. I was contacted during each decision required. The Technician completed the job in a timely manner, job well done all around fellas.Thanks

Was lied to about everything. Ended receiving absolutely no discount and charged 200$ for installation which is outrageous. When i called back in to see if i could speak to manager he or she was never there and they couldn’t do anything for me. Do not go here i passed up a discount at 2 other tire shops because they were recommended to me. Never again.

Great customer service by all the guys at this place, they were very helpful at explaining the diagnostics to me and I appreciate that they are straight forward. As a woman with little mechanical knowledge its easy to feel intimated and overwhelmed but thats definitely not the case with these mechanics.

When I went in to pick up my car none of the employees were following the mask mandate. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Before I approached the desk I asked him to put the mask on. He begrudgingly did.I no longer have a good feeling about Evans Tires. Obviously the management and corporation dont care for the customers health.

I was very pleased with your representative. The first day I went in he told me exactly what I needed and cost. When I returned today they informed me that they will take about 2 to 3 hours. I received a phone call letting me know that I needed rear brakes and rotors. Thank God my husband does this to make extra money. So we picked up my car and stopped be Auto Zone and brought brakes. Thanks for everything. I just wish that I want forget when it’s time to rotate my tires. You guys will do it free because of the alignment I had done. Thank you Evans Tire Place.

Usually never have a problem here... but today was different. I just dropped off my car for a oil change and to check ALL my tires cause my air light was on and I informed him there was a nail in one of tires. They did the oil change and informed me THEY CHECKED ALL MY TIRES and my front tires were worn out. And called me saying my car was ready. I waited about 15 mins for a ride then got there and it still wasn’t done. But when I picked up my car and go home the back tire still had the nail in it. Like I said usually never have a problem here just felt really let down. And as if cause I didn’t wanna purchase new tires they didn’t care about the old ones.

Went in with a leaky tire. Pricing for a patch was great.It turned out to be a small shard of glass that they removed and filled my tire back up at no charge.Go a little after they open because they take about 5 minutes to open the store up.

Called in the morning for Michelin PS AS4s and they had them later that day where every other chain was telling me Monday. Dropped of my car and it was ready in about 45 mins even though they were super busy at the moment. Always a good experience with this Evans location.

Got quotes at different tire shops but I went w/ Evans bc they didn’t speak to me as if i was a tire expert and actually spoke some human— they definitely have people skills. Phone etiquette was great, super patient and informative. I had help from 3 people from Evans and to my surprise they were all straight to the point, honest, and very knowledgeable. Driving off, I instantly felt difference and felt real good about my purchase with them.-0.5 star for one of the dudes behind the desk with no mask and a dead stare.. maybe he’s an overall nice guy but that was weird while it lasted.-0.5 star for paying more than I expected when I got there bc that’s never fun...

Matt was the one who helped me and was able to get me in right away. I went to get a new set of tires and they were available within the next day of ordering. I dropped off my car and everything was taken care of within a few hours.

I went in today for a front end alignment and tire rotation. As usual, it was an easy, painless experience at this Evans store in Lemon Grove, which I highly recommend for their quick, friendly service.

The original contact was great, I was given reasonable options, not up sold in an aggressiveway and service took the expected amount of time. I would have given 5 stars based on that. However, I did not feel safety was important. Many workers did not have on masks when they entered public spaces, the front desk guy had his mask below his nose, the worker in my car did not have a mask on. I carry disenfectant so I cleaned my car, but as a cancer patient be in the wake of covid, I felt that they could have used more precautions. I generally isolate, but tires are essential.

Great service, quick and professional. I called an hour before they closed, on a Sunday (many other tire shops are closed Sundays) with a nail in the tire flat. They encouraged me to bring it in despite being busy. I was in and out in 15-20 minutes, and the repair was completely free. Top notch!

Leaving for Texas with my Ram 3500 dually pulling a 45 foot trailer and noticed a noise from my brakes the 2 days before we were to leave. After being turned away by 3 other shops, I pulled into Evans Tire on Broadway in Lemon Geove at about 2:30 in the afternoon hoping to have them look to see what the problem. I was willing to come back the next day to have any repairs completed since they were already full of other cars. Not only did they get me in, they fixed the problem (new brakes and rotors). Thanks to the team at Evans. Not the first time the Evans brand has helped me. Will always go to them when in San Diego.
