I met the Grove Pastry Shop at a bridal show. I met with them, as well as 4 other cake shops. They were, by far, the most delicious and easiest to work with. They had the most amazing cake tasting session, with more than 15 cakes to taste. They were willing to work within my budget and my cake turned out exactly as planned. I also ordered cookies for my wedding as well. Everything was delivered on time and everything was absolutely delicious. I am so grateful to the Grove Pastry Shop for making my wedding cake and cookies such a huge success!!

I had a perfect experience at Grove Pastry Shop. I had very helpful service when I went in to order a cake for my mothers 80th birthday party. They had a sample I could taste, examples of the sizes available, and reasonable prices for their professional cakes. They were patient when I changed my mind and offered suggestions when I wasnt sure what I wanted. The chocolate mousse cake was spectacular and delicious. I read all the reviews and was afraid it might not be done on time so I ordered it a little early, but that turned out to be unnecessary. The customer service was perfect, the cake was ready on time, and more importantly it was beautiful and delicious.

My husband and I booked a cruise reception for our wedding and Grove Pastry Shop was one of the choices for our wedding cake. We dont live in California anymore, so everything was long distance which can be nerve wracking. We picked red velvet with cream cheese frosting. IT WAS TO DIE FOR. All of our guests raved about how delicious it was - even my picky sister. I submitted a photo of what I wanted and the cake was decorated to a T. I highly recommend them for your wedding cake.

They have the absolute best-tasting cakes I (and everyone else I know) have/has ever had, especially the whipped cream or cream cheese frosted cakes (I forgot exactly which one of the two it is) with raspberry filling. The only downside is that its a little pricey but worth it if you can afford it or for a special occasion. When we have a party, there is rarely any leftover cake. They also do amazing wedding cakes. I would not even bother going anywhere else. I savor and cherish every delicious bite, trying to eat the cake as slowly as possible, which is incredibly difficult. Also the customer service could be better and the employees nicer but its worth the annoyance. But Im paying for the skill of the cake baking, not the charm.

We had a custom wedding cake made from here, we wanted cheetah print inside the cake and they did a great job. The cake itself was delicious as well not dry at all and had the perfect amounts of raspberry filling and buttercream.

Got a 7 inch whip cream cake. Have been going to this shop from years past. Tried the cake under the newer owner. It was HORRIBLE. They skimped on the fillings, which did not come even close to the edge of the cake, only one layer of custard instead of the two layers that the cake used to have years ago, indigents were of a lesser quality and finally, for $28.00 dollars, the cake WAS WAY OVERPRICED! Be warned, do not get the whip cream cake, its just not worth it.

Ordered a white raspberry filling cake with a custom image for my baby shower. It came out beautiful and so delicious. It is saying a lot from me bc I dont really likd cake to begin with. Very pleased with this service.

I have ordered cakes from Lemon grove bakery, though there expesive they have never let me down.... until my wedding day that is the cake delivered was nice, but it wasnt what I paid for, and they kept callig me asing me to bring in supplies that was supposed to be included this is a problem I am still loving to get resolved Teresa the owner was a complete jerk when I brought the issue to her attention, After years of ordering cakes from them I will never return!

Learned about this bakery at a wedding event and they had the most delicious samples that I had to set an appointment and see if what they offered could fit into our budget. We scheduled a cake tasting which was incredible! There were somewhere between 15-18 individual slices of cake for my (now) husband to try. I loved how they explained each flavor to us of what we were trying. The hardest part was choosing.Fortunately, if youre having a multi-tier or multiple cakes, like we did, then you can choose a few flavors. The mango champagne is what I tasted at the event and its the main flavor we ended up choosing for the wedding cake. Its moist and kind of like a traditional wedding cake flavor with an exotic twist. Our other layers were chocolate marble and cranberry orange.I requested simple for the actual look of the cake, but with some texture. To get the 3-D look, it wouldve had to be fondant, and we wanted buttercream, but when I saw our cake, they had listened to exactly what I wanted and the peaks of the cake were exactly what I imagined -- but with the delicious buttercream.We are Beach Boys fans and for the grooms cake, we requested it look like a Beach Boys album. We brought in a printout and chose good ol vanilla for this cake. What we received was beyond our expectations! We had imagined theyd make it on a square cake, but they made it look like the actual album disc. Ill have to upload photos when we receive them. It was incredible.Cost-wise, this bakery was GREAT price and value. ALL of their flavors are delicious. A few weeks before the wedding, we paid our balance and the day of the wedding, they arrived at the beginning of the time frame they gave us to set up.I would HIGHLY recommend this bakery to any bride-to-be. We simply had the best experience and I am incredibly happy that we chose them to make the cake of our wedding dreams.

I walked in to see one couple upset they got a round instead of a sheet cake. Another couple standing there very upset because theyre cake was supposed to be done two hours prior. Then once my cake came out it was white instead of ivory and the scrolling was not covering the whole cake.She argued with me saying I did not order it like that, and that the person that took the order would have written it down.Umm why would I order a half finished cake? So after she refused to answer any more of my questions she just took my cake in the back with a attitude! She came back out an said nothing to me but proceeded to help the next customer! The customer tells the lady her name for pick up and to nobodys surprise, its not ready.. Lady behind the counter tells her well, you can come back. Ive been coming here for years and I have never had an experience like this but I will never again because bet your ass I aint goin back! To the lady workin the front desk, Angel if thats ur name, the devils a lie baby!
