Food here is very vey very very very very very very good. Its actually amazing. Thanks to chef Fadi and Tahani, Kansas serves one of the best Middle Eastern food across the map.Listen to me only. Dont read any of the other reviews.Things to know:1- This is not a regular restaurant. Its designed as a dessert place and coffee/tea. They do Middle Eastern brunch on weekends and orders to go. If you want to dine here, you have to call them ahead of time preferably at least one day before. Otherwise the chef Fadi might throw some very sharp words at you. Fadi is a true super star chef.2- The national meal of Jordan is Mansaf. I dont have to explain it here. So read its Wikipedia page. Its accurate. Simply its rice topped by lamb meat that was slowly cooked in a special yogurt stew. They make it to perfection here. They dont use the traditional ultra thin bread but still the lamb shanks and jameed/strained yogurt stew are prepared the authentic way.3- The king of middle eastern desserts by far is Kanafah. Its a Palestinian dessert invented in Nablus definitely before 900 AD. I dont have time to explain it either so go to Wikipedia page. Simply its sweet Akko cheese topped with something like sweet fine bread crumbs on top. Never take it home. You must eat it in situ hot and fresh. So what to get here?1- Mansaf. And cooked meals. But as I said, to avoid making chef Fadi angry, call at least 1 day ahead.2- Warbaat and Knaafeh desserts. Warbaat are pastries filled with thick cream. Theyre super amazing here made daily, 5 stars. Fine Knaafeh is 4 stars but still very tasty. Ask for knaafeh to order. Dont get the already made ones.3- The weekends Middle Eastern brunch.4- I wouldnt get Turkish delights. Its processed food. Get the freshly made pastries instead. Whatever they make fresh is good.Kept coming back and ordering to go, hence the 5 stars.
Please do visit this place, as it is always a special thing to dine-in a family owned restaurant especially if it is a bakery. Instead of getting something regular, pre-cooked and average you are going to taste something way out of ordinary over here. The owner usually just finished cooking something new, sweet and warm in the back and is just bringing it out on the display. There is always something new coming and your day to day assortment is going to be different every time you get to the shop. The best part for me was to ask thousands of questions about recipes and origins of each and every delicacy and the chief was happy to answer as many of them as they were coming, because he made it himself and he took pride in his work. From what I overheard the gentleman specifically studied to become a chief in this specific field and I also saw a client ordering a custom pastry which is niceThe certain atmosphere attracts a certain kind of people so I find myself just sitting there behind a cup of coffee and talking to a gentleman who happened to be a local physician that traveled to a lot of countries and had fabulous stories to tell, shout out to Lou at this momentFinally the place informed me that they have a main course coming soon, the chief is busy making up the menu, and as far as I know it should be goodDelicious, super-clean, aromatic and kind of too good to be real, Enjoy
The best coffee place to get Turkish style coffee. Owner is always nice whenever we visit. I like every thing about the coffee. The pots come different size. I always get confused with the size and so I ask him to show me which size of pot I like to have for the day. Also the sweet baklavas are of variety flavors . I also like the fact that they have vegan sweets ( pistachio with honey, nuts with honey and also sesame seed with honey ).
This place is absolutely amazing. I love the food, and the owners are very passionate people about their food. They have lovely, simple decorations for their restaurant, and the pricing is pretty good, too. I highly recommend that you try this place out. They also have meal options, besides sweets, if youre looking for something a little more substantial.
This is one of my favorite places Ive stumbled on in KC. Not only does this place have tons of things youve never tried but its also a hidden gem that produces some real unique desserts. I had seven pieces of Turkish Delight and each one was amazing. Id definitely come back.
This place has the best Mediterranean sweets! Their cheese pies are yummy. But you must have the baklava! We came in about 7pm and she went out of her way to make a fresh batch. I dont know why some of these reviews say they have bad service, because she could have turned us away. She didnt and they are always nice. Such great food! I cant wait to place another order ahead of time since I know I can do that now! Yummy!
What a wonderful gem. The owners are so kind and helpful, and we enjoyed their Turkish Delight. We only tried two varieties of the many they offer, but we will be back!
Amazing food. Amazing service. A little on the pricey side... it was $50 for 3 adults, and a 4 year old for breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!
I love taking my parents to this place when they visit town, they love the atmosphere and the delicious desserts. The owners are very kind and welcoming. You are always greeted with a kind smile and a genuine how have you been, its been a while?I have always got the kunafa there, but we tried their special weekend breakfast for the first time this weekend, and we were completely amazed by it. The food was delicious, the presentation was very elegant, and the quanitity was double what we could eat.Visiting this place is always my parents favorite part of their trip, and it is all thanks to the owners.
This place has the best Arab sweets I have tried in the KC area. The desserts are freshly made and have enough syrup to keep them moist and prevent drying out. Highly recommended
An excellent selection of mediterranean/middle east sweets and food. During the weekends they have a breakfast which has plenty to eat. Definitely would recommend!
Delicious food! We came for brunch with a large group of people and they were so accommodating. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Very reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing baklava and knafeh! Love the service as well.
Tried the Turkish coffee for the first time and it was delicious and so was the food! The owner was very caring and helpful. Cant wait to go back.
Hidden gem for desserts. Love everything they have - so many unique flavors of Turkish Delight. Looking forward to trying a full meal here.
We had a Knafeh with tea and it was scrumptious, but I bought a date wafer from there, and it has been expired a day before my purchase. One more star because of your customer service, but please kindly consider that selling expired sweet is not expected from such a good pastry.
Delicious sweets and coffee. If you are in the mood for some middle eastern sweets and turkish coffee then look no further than this place. The service is very warm and friendly and so is the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.
Worst customer service. We walked in to buy some baked pastry and they didnt have any. The problem wasnt that they didnt have any, it was the way they speak to customers. Very unprofessional and rude! Wont be going back. Should work on your attitude towards customers. Very disappointing!!!EDIT: I obviously said the problem wasnt that you were out. The problem is the rude attitude that you chose to ignore it in your response.
Wife and I stopped in here today 1/26/19. Nice shop. Nice variety of fresh made baklava, cookies, handmade turkish delights, ice cream, gelato and more. Had to try their Turkish coffee,,,,it was delicious. We got a mix of baklava and some Turkish delights to go. They are delicious. Well worth stopping in and treating yourself. Highly recommend this place!!!
The best Baklava ever!! Very clean, quite and peaceful place to take a coffee after lunch. People treat you very well and give you samples too. I strongly recommend you to try the Turkish coffee... just perfect
The best service ever.Very kind wonderful staff. And Delicious Pastry.Even the lunch specials they are wonderful and Delicious and very yummy .
Very nice owner and great service! We got a couple different varieties of the baklava and they were all fantastic! I will definitely be a repeat customer, and cant wait to try more of the food.
Really original quality sweets, desserts and delights, very nice people run this place! I have tried Kanafeh, Baklava and other things, the most I have liked is Rolled Kanafeh! reasonable prices as well, Love It!
So glad I found this gem. I annoyingly asked what everything was and they were still very patient with me. The Baklava is incredible and the meat pie was great for the price. Cant wait to try more of the menu
They have a great selection of sweets!!. I loved the baklava and kanafeh 😍. I will definitely come back again and I highly recommend this place!
The owner was SO friendly and the place was so clean and comfy and the food was delicious. Definitely planning to come back soon!
Melt in your mouth good. Super fresh. Exceptionally clean place! Great spot for a quiet meeting and a GREAT cup of special coffee. Well keep going back for more.
My family and I make it a point to stop by here everytime we eat at Flavor of India from across the street. This is the best way to complete a meal. Just get a pound of everything, (well, maybe not everything) its so yummy. Best baklava around, and super friendly staff.
Visited this shop for the first time today upon a recommendation. We requested a small sampling of the pastries and now sorry we didnt get more. Its apparent the owners take pride in their pastry goods as it looks perfect and tastes wonderful. Recommended.
You must try Turkish delight in here. Taste is delicious.
I like their sweets but I dont like their customers service. I asked the owner that if he was running any deals on kanafa. He said no. I told him that your price sign says there is discount if you buy six pieces. He said that he was assuming that I gonna buy only two or three. Please STOP judging people and promote your business if youre interested.
Love it. They are so friendly. Their dessert is fantastic. I feel like I am going to Turkey when I go to this place. Keep up good work guys!
Dont think Ive ever met an owner as kind this guy! 100% recommend checking out Nazareth Sweets for their desserts and their breakfast (only Saturday and Sunday)! Well be back soon.
Very nice place, had their new lunch special and its delicious. Place is so authentic, clean and the owner is very personable and attentive. Highly recommended, we will be back!!
Great treats, always good. Be sure to check out all the other places in the shopping center like the market and Holy Land Cafe.
Has a great choice of middle eastern sweets that really make your mouth water. Tasty, freshly made, and smells like a sugar high. Each time I go I try something new.
I have gotten nothing but amazing quality and phenomenal service from Nazareth Sweets. The first time I came in, I was totally new to the area and the shop owners were super patient with me while I asked what everything was. I ended up leaving with half a pound of walnut and half a pound of pistachio of the single best baklava I have ever had. The second time I came in, I brought a friend who had never tried baklava or kanafeh before and she loved it. I brought in a big group and Fadi was nothing but kind to us while we were there. Their ice cream is absolutely amazing, too - I quote my friend: this is actually the best ice cream I have ever tasted.Their shop is always pristine and beautiful, with comfortable seating and fabulous music. Its super cute and very hospitable.I will continue bringing myself and my friends and my relatives in for as long as Nazareth Sweets stays open. I recommend them to everyone.
This is a nice little shop. Their candy coated almonds are delicious. You can find this store right next to Al Habashi in the river market.
Most delightful experience there! The owners are so charming and the desserts are amazing! Pastries made the perfect birthday gifts!!! Cant wait to go back!
The food is great and the staff had great hospitality.
Absolutely amazing baklava, the best Ive ever had! I loved the almond most. Cant wait to try the cashew. The kanafeh was so good (and so hard to describe), and its my new favorite. Fadi was very friendly, and helpful with his suggestions on what to try. We will be back, hopefully soon!
Awesome store good service delicious fresh daily made desserts and ice cream
My Saudi brother says it is just as good as back home! Mandi and I love the cashew filled baklava the most. The owner is so friendly.
Great sweets, awesome service. Once you walk in, apart of you doesnt wanna leave. Dont miss out on the weekend breakfast
Great addition to metro area for unique cuisine.
If you like Middle Eastern pastries and desserts, this place is a hidden gem.
Weekend brunch was amazing and at an amazing price. Will definitely be going back again and again.
Best kenafe in Kansas best people and service as well I will always come back
Their food is amazing! Some of the best baklava Ive ever had! Reasonable prices.
Amazing baklava. I go here all the time. My favorite is the birds nest baklava
We went there to buy some sweets and we sow a breakfast, and asked for it, guys one of the best breakfast ever remained me the Turkish one if you go to Kansas don’t miss it.10$ per person
Was craving baklava, googled and this place came up. Just tried the baklavas and they are spot on! The staff was very friendly too.Edit: (Changed from 5 stars to 3 stars) After tasting baklava from Shatila, I find these way too sweet, and they lack a buttery smell and taste essential for good baklava. Plus its very expensive.
Very lovely staff, had a great time there
Staff is very knowledgeable of what is in the food, explains how its made, and let us sample some things before purchasing. Fresh, delicious, and helpful staff.
So wonderful place to have fun eating there, Fadi and his Wife make you you want to go every day, so clean and very good quality of food, we enjoy to go to Nazareth Sweets .
Nice little sweets shop, if you like fresh made Baklavas, youll love this place.
Nice place, super friendly, good selection and quality of middle eastern desserts, turkish coffee and light dinner/lunch foods.
Hands down the best baklava Ive ever had - the almond fingers are an absolute must.

Delicious and clean. Love it any time.
Awesome baklavas which are freshly made daily and a variety of options to choose from which all taste good.
Unlike the Chicago location, I was shocked with the taste of the sweets and desserts. Based on the quality of the food, its very expensive.
Good place, great service, amazing host and good prices
Excellent baklava, friendly help. Ill definitely be back.
As a big fan of Mediterranean desserts, this place was the best so far in KC.
Great selection but the prices are a bit high for the quality of the sweets.
This place is just amazing, from food to service everything is just Incredible.

Great sweats in Kansas!!! Great service!
Management is very rude and service is awful.
Delicious and interesting desserts from various countries in the Middle East. They have a wide variety but are a bit expensive
Wonderful sweets and great service
The lady working there tried to jack up the price after we made our selection. She claimed that the menu price is out dated. Very unprofessional and unpleasant customer service. Other choices are available at any other arabic store.
