I recently took in a leaf blower for repair estimate because it wouldnt keep running once started. They quoted a price for repair more than the cost of a new blower, so I picked up my blower and bought a new one from them. They returned my old blower without any fuel and the throttle cable unhooked. Nice.So I took my old blower to another small engine repair shop in Olathe (RG), and they fixed it for a fifth of the cost of the new one.I then returned the new blower to Maisch for a full refund, that is the only reason I am giving them more than zero stars.

Busy, very competent and good. There have been a few lawnmower shops close in the area recently so Maisch is picking up the slack. They specialize in Stihl but service all brands. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a bad pump on a our power washer. Was told they had to rebuild carb on a DEWALT power washer to find problem. It Started the day before we took it in but they couldn’t get it started. Thought it was odd but whatever?! Came back at a ridiculous price to fix the pump. 379.00. Whoever called had no phone skills whatsoever. Would not recommend at all.

Had our mower tuned up and the carburetor replaced. Had an issue when it was returned but they quickly corrected the problem. Highly recommend.

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I took my stihl chainsaw in as I was having trouble getting it to start. I fully expected to have drop it off, and then pick up in a week or two. The technician that helped me took a look at it, very quickly diagnosed the problem, and I was on my way home with it within 5 minutes. If I ever have any other issues with small engine repair and/or lawn and garden equipment, I won’t hesitate to come back. I would highly recommend the services of Maisch to others.

Great shop and service. As a newbie to lawnmower maintenance I was very impressed. While I cant compare to other stores, blade sharpening with same-day turnaround for only $8 seems an excellent deal. I was also able to buy oil and an air filter for my mower to do my own spring maintenance. When something goes wrong with the mower, or I need parts or a new edge on the blade, I will definitely return to Maisch!

Mike, the owner, is very engaged in his business and with the customers that walk through his door. I have used several other repair shops in OP, and havent had the good results that I experienced at Maisch. Mike is direct, honest and will get your equipment serviced correctly. I wasnt sure that my snowblower was serviceable, but they got it running beautifully for under $100. These people seem to take their profession seriously, which is refreshing to see. I would definitely recommend them for equipment repairs.

Maisch partnered with Ryan Lawn for a lawn mower tune-up program. Our mower was picked up, cleaned up, tuned-up and returned quickly. They left a message with information about a potential problem we might have this summer and the options for repair if/when it happens. Great service!

I was very happy with this service. It was awesome that they pick up the mower, tune it up then bring it back. That was a huge help!

Maisch Small Engine and RYANs lawn and tree offered to pick up and service my lawnmower before spring started. I took advantage of this offer and I am really pleased with the service that RYANs and Maisch pulled off together. We arranged a date for the pick up, and a week later it was back in top condition, all ready to cut the grass. Maisch changed the oil, spark plug and air filter, sharpened blade, cleaned deck and adjusted the cables. Convenient service and reasonably priced at $ 130, tax included.

Very helpful, didnt treat me like an idiot when i brought in my chainsaw that i had busted up cutting down some limbs. They found the right parts for me and told me if i couldnt fix it to come back and they would help me out.Good guys over there.Keep up the good work.

Have a 10 year old Stihl leaf blower that has never been in the shop, but was now starting to run rough, right in the middle of leaf blowing season no less! The shop Ive used in the past had a backlog of 6 weeks so I gave Maisch a try. I was prepared for a minimum of a complete tune up to needing a new carburetor. What I was not prepared for was what I got...an AWESOME experience! Was immediately greeted, gave a brief description of the problem, the tech took my blower and literally within 5 minutes he handed it back to me with, here you go! It was fixed, while I waited and at no charge! Maisch is now my new go-to shop and I will go out of my way to let others I know of my experience. Thanks for making my day!!

They always take great care of my mowers

I have been using Maisch for the last three years to service my Honda lawnmower. The service at Maisch, especially by Eric (sp?), is friendly and excellent. Each year they tune up my lawnmower, keeping it running on an excellent level.They are able to get the work done in a short time and their prices are very reasonable.Most recently, my gas powered weedwhacker pooped out on me. I did not buy it from Maisch and serviced it myself each spring. Maisch diagnosed the issue, going just deep enough to determine that repairs would be more expensive than buying a new whacker. After looking at the big box stores for a replacement, I returned to Maisch, where Eric was most helpful in selecting a new, Stihl battery operated unit that I REALLY like.Buying the unit from Maisch resulted in their waiving the $25 diagnostic fee on the old trimmer.

We brought all of our equipment here when the old man owned it and have had our push mower tuned up twice under the new ownership. Theyve raised their prices twice since taking over and now charge nearly $90 to tune up a push mower!
