Owner was super nice, great prices, great finds just great everything. I was in a rush while I was there and I think I left an lp in the wrong spot which haunts me to this day. Anyhow go here if you’re in town and need a vinyl fix!

So I never write reviews but I gotta give it to Dead Wax Records. Excellent shop - great punk gunk and garage finds. Owner is incredibly knowledgable and its very clear that he is servicing the music heads in the area. The new LP section is honestly the best Ive seen locally with some real gems. I had a few OMG moments pulling stuff Ive wanted for a while but have never found at any other shop. I cant wait to go back!

Whether youre local to Lenoir, or from out of town, Dead Wax Records is worth the trip no matter your distance! Dead Wax has a fantastic selection of new and used vinyl, which is my main area of shopping for music. Dead Wax also has a great CD selection, as well as movies, merch..... FANTASTIC! The owner is very kind, and if he doesnt have what youre looking for, hell work hard to find it! You need to come here ASAP if youre looking for an incredible selection with an outstanding atmosphere/vibe!

Tucked away spot to find new and used vinyl. They had a variety of genres, I was pleased to find several metal/rock albums that I wanted to buy.

Absolutely adored this place found a babes in Toyland pin for my battle vest descendants CDs and a huge Dolly Parton memorabilia display the owner Chris was lovely to talk to and even knew about local bands to my hometown of San Diego

The owner is really cool. Great variety from records, posters, shirts, to buttons. Asked about a band and they even placed an order for a specfic album I wanted. Made the trip out of town worth it. 10/10 will come back!

Excellent record store with a wide variety of inventory. It never fails that I am able to find new music at a great price. The owner Chris is super friendly and knowledgeable. If you you are interested in music and records this is a must visit.

Finally have cultivated my own personal vinyl collection thanks a lot to this gem of a place. Traveled down from the mountains to meet up with a friend to have some record shopping, little did I know that I would find almost everything I had every searched for! We spent hours combing through all the genres, years, etc. I found everything from my favorites from the 50’s all the way up to current day new releases! Such a VAST collection of genres & prices, this place truly is for everyone! The staff is fun & knowledgeable too! Will be back as soon as my bank account recovers from the first visit ahaha!
