I wonder if it is Shells corporate policy to ask its customers to remove their masks when entering the gas station. When going into the store, the cashier asked us to remove our masks, during a pandemic. This is completely outrageous. Shame on you. Shell, I doubt this is your policy based on the handwritten note attached to the door.
The woman here told us the station had a no-mask policy and asked my boyfriend to take off his mask. He stated he wasnt comfortable doing so. She didnt instigate further but to ask that of someone in the middle of a pandemic is ridiculous.
This back to four stars once I receive a response from Shell. At exactly 2:36 today I went in to buy gas. I handed the woman behind the counter $3.90 and I said please put that on pump two. I went outside and pumped to notice that it only pumped out $2.90. I returned inside to ask why it only pump 290. The woman behind the counter replied thats what you asked for. I said no I asked for 390, can I just have my dollar back. At which point she said you only gave me 2 one dollar bills and $0.90. I said no maam I did not, I handed you three $1 bills. We went back and forth a little bit and I left in disgust oh, but kept my cool and was respectful. Its only a dollar I get it but I want it back it is the principle, your employees should pay attention to the amount of money they receive.
The four stars are not really relevant: its a basic gas station. But worth noting that prices were running 20c higher per gal than at nearby discount stations. My car prefers Shell V-Power, though, and this is the only Shell station around here
Nothing special, just a general gas station. Prices were significantly higher than other local gas stations. This location us conveniently close to rt. 2 however
This station is close to rt 2, the mall, and many restaurants. HOWEVER, this station is consistently 15 to 20 cents per gallon more expensive than other stations.
