From all the reviews I see, how is this place still operating. Extremely rude staff, they just say over and again its not their problem, and no respect for customers. I have never dealt with such rudeness in my life! It needs to be overhauled, or every one fired and start over. I know things are tough but there is no excuse for this kind of behavior! I will be reaching out to corporate about this, Im not letting this go.

If I could give a negative star or none at all I wouldve. Awful customer service!!! We made a reservation for a storage unit. The grab all our information, card # gave me an confirmation # ect. We go in to today to get the storage and find out they rented it to someone else already after they said we were all set. The lady tell me theres nothing she can do for me. Tell me there is no other storage available. Poor customer service. Your workers should be able to be train well to know not to rent a storage that is already reserve. I dont recommend this place at all!

I bought a rental just for a few hours, and little did I know that these people like to screw customers over. I was charged double for the mileage, a late fee (after I was told I wouldnt be charged), and for gas even though I returned it with a full tank. The phones dont work, when I tried to call because I was 3 minutes late returning the truck nobody would answer. Fortunately I contacted corporate to express the issues with the staff and issues this location has. Very unfortunate, but lesson learned, I will never rent from Uhaul.

Went to have a hitch put on our car, someone in corporate customer service messed up our reservation. The mechanic somehow found the last hitch that fit our car in the state, got it, installed it, all in one morning. Fantastic service.

Worst customer service ever. I was overcharged on my debit card and spoke to corporate about a refund which was approved however the branch manager never proceeded with the refund. Rude employees as well. Definitely not using uhaul again and don’t recommend it. I’ll definitely use Home Depot’s Penske truck rentals if I was you.

Nothing like hurrying over to catch them before they close, only to find it locked up early and the guy inside pointedly ignoring you. Theres plenty of competition, better to buy somewhere they like having customers.

I made an appointment on 9/1 for a hitch install on 9/14 at the Leominster MA location. That install was cancelled by uhaul on 9/5 and rescheduled for 9/28.5 hours before the appointment time I get a phone call message that I was lucky enough to notice, that I have been cancelled again.This is acceptable? I had to go through a lot of time rearranging to make this appointment and uhaul cancels 5 hours from the appointment?A return call to uhaul and now I get a wait time of 15 minutes?Avoid at all costs, very unprofessional way to operate in my opinion. And they charge your credit card upfront. So far I have had no luck contacting anyone to give me my money back.

Worst costumer service I ever had

Reserved a truck for Saturday morning 5/4. Perhaps one of the busier days Id imagine for moving. All I have to do is sign the papers, yet there is a line 3 deep and Ive been waiting for 20 minutes already. They only have one guy behind the counter. Still waiting. Doesnt it seem like they should staff up on a Saturday in May? Update...waited 35 minutes. Pretty bad.

Got a door that wouldnt close and they told me to call road side assistance. Did that, waited two hours, and the guy that was supposed to help me was still in NH. Called back and asked if theyd just let me pick up another truck and they did, which was nice, but I wish they told me I could have done that in the first place. Also turned out roadside assistance isnt supposed to handle that problem (which the guy there said was common) in the first place.

They charged me for fuel although i filled the truck before i returned it. I had picture of the fuel and mileages before and after. still got charged

Check everything before leaving the facility (i.e., mileage, fuel, damages, etc.). They overcharged me for mileage and would not return calls, emails or resolve the issue. The manager was never there, available and did not respond. U-Haul (corporate) had to resolve issue and refund the money I was overcharged. It took over 2-months to get my refund applied to my credit card. Mistakes happen, but ignoring the mistake and not resolving the matter promptly is truly unprofessional and just not good business.

They charged me 77 miles for a 1.5 mile van rental drive. I didnt check the millage yes i should have. But i rented the van for 1hour and a half. Who who can drive 77 miles in that time. Even they said that same thing. Yet there way out was you didnt look at the millage. While also saying it doesnt make sense that u had van for 1hour and half. And drove 77 miles. So they did nothing to fix the problem.

Not the best looking store but definitely my favorite people! Teddy was patient and well-mannered. Great job guys!

Called to get a trailer hitch installed and was told they had it in stock. I got to my appointment at 8:00 am Saturday and was told by someone different that the part was not in stock. The two people working there didnt really seem to know what was going on. I asked how they were going to fix the problem since I got up early and drove further than a Uhaul closer to me because they said they had the part. They told I should call the manager (instead of doing for me). I called and left a voicemail for him but never received a call back. I could get over the mistake even though it annoyed me but I was even more displeased with how the situation was handled after the fact. They didnt ask if I wanted to reschedule and just stood there. They didnt seem to care that they lost my business. I have used this location before for a truck rental but after this I will never use them again.

Ive never had good experiences with Uhaul, but in a world where theyre your only options, you gotta suck it up and do it. Ive never been to this location before, they open at 7am, I got here at 7:30. I came for propane for my grill. I parked the car next to the propane filling area and there was a sign saying ring bell for propane service. I did..and nothing. Waited 5 minutes, rang it again.. nothing. Waited 5 minutes, rang it, and nothing. Finally got fed up, went inside, and as I was walking in some woman was walking out angry and swearing that the guy inside was an effin idiot and telling me not to mess with these people. Her feelings sum up my feelings for Uhaul pretty well.. there was one employee inside, and so far Ive been sitting here inside for 35 minutes waiting for him to finish up with peoples rentals who CAME IN AFTER I DID. Just sitting here... waiting... God I hate this place. The only reason Ill give it 2 stars is because the guy behind the counter wasnt rude, he was just daft or something..

Horrible service

Fast, efficient, organized & helpful. I was running out of time, it was getting late, the uhauls were all closing between 5:30 & 7:00 & I had already been to 3 uhauls in Gardner, none of them had the trailer i needed, i called a phone number that went to uhaul reservations & they told me to get to this store & they put my info in a reservation to hold it. I called this store to tell them Im on my way, i was gonna be a little late. When i arrived Joshua met me at the door, had my paperwork already all printed up & set me right up with the rental, no problem. I was on my way in about 10 minutes. Awesome.

Very low piliteness general manager there have no respect whatsoever with customer bad actitud even tell people no to go there. Seen like he is the owner....dont go to that store to avoid a bad experience..

Rented a truck and trailer. The service was great by the employees. They were willing to help me get whatever I needed for my move.

Went to uhall on Thursday 26th of April, pick up a 26 truck. Returned in the timely they asked and got charged 3 times.

THE WORSE! Incredibly rude!! Horrible Customer Service! OVERCHARGED because they werent able to log the truck back because they were understaffed!! Had Uhaul HQ calling saying I didnt return the truck and when I called to ask, they kept me on hold for over 20 minutes. I have had my fair share of bad experiences at this place but this one does it!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Horible experience, they are not properly train to direct you once a problem raises. They gave me an estimate for 20 miles. I only used 15. They still charge me for the 20 miles. Do not go there, they will try to find a way to take advantage of you. I will never go to this location again.

I go here for propane, they are usually understaffed and it takes a while but they are always friendly despite being pulled in several directions.

I rent a lot of trailers from them and the trucks rented the car trailer picked it up at 1pm said I may have it back in before they close but guess what the ramps wouldn’t come out so I had to go get tools to get the ramp down so took longer went to bringing it back waited an hour then get told oh we will mail you a check the guy that called me on the phone told me they needed the trailer back in 20min was rude about it I made it to them in 16 minutes too but they told me they didn’t have cash to give me my money back and the guy was rude never renting from them again

Friendly and quick to get you on the road.

Worst UHAUL ever. There was an error on my receipt caused by the mobile App, I called this location where I dropped off the vehicle. The Manager Russ told me TOUGH... He literally used the word TOUGH, what do you want me to do about it..... THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE and will NEVER use them ever again, and neither should you.

Trailer that I had reserved was broken. I left trailerless.
