I see people saying they have new equipment where? Second hand junk store.... Maybe at one time you could buy new instruments but just used junk buyer beware..

The music store that has it all. New to used equipment from instruments to sound systems. They also offer classes on how to play your instrument. If you dont see what your looking for. They will be happy to find it. They also offer repair services. A great group of people who know the love of music. They are helpful and friendly so if you have a musical need. Please come down and see for yourself.

Recently brought in my Epiphone acoustic for a quick setup and general maintenance. The staff was extremely friendly and did exceptional work on the guitar at a reasonable price. The guitar looks and plays like new now, despite years of wear and tear on it! Would recommend these guys to anyone in the area who needs work done on their instruments.

Eh guy was rude in there, i tried small talking with him but he wasnt interested . okay selection of vinyls, he choked it up to them being busy because they were moving their store soon, still annoyed nevertheless.

Brought my guitar in for some pickup work, the guys there went way above and beyond helping to fix my old guitar and make it sound brand new again at no charge. Just seemed happy to be helping fix it. Would recommend to anybody !! A+ Work!

I brought my guitar into Gordon LaSalle Music, simply to have the strings replaced. (I like the way they trim them --So great!) But Shawn went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND. I cant explain, it actually looks better than when I got it. It looks brand new, like its never been played. He cleaned and polished every single part of it. The work is amazing. Im so glad I brought it there. If I had just changed the strings myself, look what Id have missed. Thank you Shawn.

Recently started taking lessons at the store. Mike and Shawn helped get me set up and the teachers I met are great people. They offer lessons for all instruments which gave me great choices for a new hobbie. I will be taking lessons there from now on. Thanks Guys see you next week for my lessons !!

I brought in my tuxedo modern player strat that I bought all beat up. The fret board was covered in gunk, the intonation was wayyyy off, hardware rusted and finish yellowed. The service was amazing and friendly and when I picked up the guitar it was like a whole new guitar, it looked brand new. This is now my go to store. That man there knows what he’s doing and then some when it comes to working on guitars.

He’s a real nice guy. Setup my guitar, he did a great job.

This is the worst music store I have ever been to. After explaining to the man there that I was starting out and that I needed a better amp, he instantly brought me to this 100 watt Marshall 4x12. I explained to him that this didnt seem very practical. I also noticed that a lot of their accordions were nothing short of complete garbage. I bought a strap from here once before, and regret buying it from here.

Earlier this year I brought in an old Gretsch Ectromatic because it sounded dead. They replaced the plastic nut with a Graphtech Tusq. Shawn went above and beyond, leveling and polishing the frets and making several additional adjustments at no extra charge over the next few days and now it sings and sustains forever! I can’t believe how good it sounds.I bought a15 year old Les Paul last month off of Reverb and brought it in because both volume pots were crackling. Mike replaced some burned wires from a bad solder job and 1 pot. There were dead spots on some of the frets but Shawn was able to work his magic. I got the guitar back looking and sounding like it just came out of the factory. It gleams and sparkles visually and sonically.I had a HORRIBLE experience with guitar repair at A local competitor last year. Now, I won’t let anyone else touch my guitars except Gordon Music... and I paid less than I expected!Any bad reviews for these guys are probably fake.

Over a decade ago my father bought me my first guitar, a Yamaha RGZ 211M! I had no idea the gem I had at the time. I was young, I didnt play well at the time and the guitar wound up in storage and neglect. So when it turned up I had little hope that the floyd rose system would be restorable, a sentiment not shared by Shawn at Gordon LaSalle Music! He knew he could bring my RGZ back from the brink of death, and he knew the importance of it to me. He leveled and scrubbed every fret, adjusted the floyd rose system properly, found a match for the missing hardware from the locking nut and clean the whole guitar to food standards. My only regret is that I live in LA and only come out east to visit my family on occasion. Go figure the my favorite Music shop would be in Leominster! There is no place in LA I would trust with my RGZ, and when any of my instruments need repair I will coordinate a trip to see family with a trip to see Shawn at Gordon LaSalle Music.Really man, Thanks!!!

Ive been there a couple times needing various things, all bad experiences. Most of their gear was used and dirty knockoffs selling at premium prices. Would not recommend.

Great new and used music equipment at fair prices

BUYER BEWAREThis store has tons of things listed constantly on craigslist. They jerked me around for a week and made me drive an hour just to try and bait & switch me. Sent an email offering EITHER $400 in cash or a trade for an item of equal value in exchange for a synthesizer listed at $550 that had been up for a month. They told me that day they would arrange to bring it from their CT store to their Leominister MA location the next week. They mention on their listings they take trades and offers.Almost a full week goes by and i notice the same item pops up on CT craigslist for $75 less, and it is the same store - Gordon-Lasalle Music but the CT branch. I email them and ask if its available, and they tell me it is, but only for the next two days. So they were willing to tell me they would hold it for me, but were willing to undersell me to someone else if they didnt have to truck it down.They email me telling me today at 2pm the item will be at the Leominister store. So I head down right at 2pm, an hour-and-a-half long drive for me, ask to see the item, the guy says its on the truck and hell be right back with it. He comes back with the item in a huge box with absolutely no protection, very scratched up and overall in pretty bad shape. I assume its been bouncing around inside this taped up box the whole way from CT.They dont have any gear to test it with. They look around a little bit for a MIDI cable but cant find one. They assure me its fully working and I should have confidence it works 100% well. I offer my $400 in cash and they take it, then ask I bring in the item I said i would offer in trade.Its worth mentioning that while they were trying to get it plugged in, an employee knocked TWO different used keyboards off their stands. A $199 keyboard and a $795 keyboard both took a 6 foot plunge to the ground and he put them back like nothing happened. If you go to Gordon-Lasalle, ask how many times your gears been knocked over if it looks a little beat up.I explain that the deal was either $400 in cash or the item but they refuse to sell me the item for any less than $575. I mention they had listed it for $500 in CT, but they just feigned ignorance and said they had no idea about it when I showed them their other listing for the same item.The guy tried to get me to buy it for his asking price insisting it was in mint condition. I told him I was buying it as-is because he didnt have the equipment to test it, and it wasnt in mint condition because it was covered in deep scratches. I walked out on it.These guys clearly have no shame in screwing around their customers and all the used gear they had was grimy, beat up and in awful shape. Not much question as to why. Dont give them your business.

This place is a fricken joke- take the drive to worcester or mystery train in amherst or any other record shop that isnt a buncha liars who lie to yr face about what yr sellin them and how much its worth- this place is a joke- im a professional musician and go in there all the time- and they try and school me about music LOL- the grey haired man seems to know a fraction of what i know- and the guy w the glasses knows even less= go to a more reputable rec shop- this place is absolute garbage -
