Great craft store. Has a variety of things and fun kits especially for Halloween. Jade was our cashier and super nice!

This is a great art/craft supply store in Lewisville. They carry high end professional brands - especially paints like Golden acrylics and Daniel Smith watercolors. They also offer coupons most days - just go to their website to download. Also, you can sign up for their rewards club (free) and get special offers/coupons sent directly to you. And the BEST thing about Michaels is their new Maker Space, where they teach classes, but also let the public come in and create. (See pics below) So glad we have this great resource in our community!

Very organized product isles. The first time I went here was last Sunday because Hobby Lobby was closed. I admit Michaels is not the first store I think of going when I am searching for crafting supplies...but I love the reward program. Got all I needed for my soap project!!

I can always find something here. I got some excellent cardstock for paper crafting and they have a large selection of colors. I also find they have good sales on their crafting storage, so it is best to wait for a sale.

Has great craft supplies and is a great store for arts and crafts supplies. Customer service there is also really great.

This store was so enjoyable to shop in. I found everything on my list with no problems and found quite a few good clearance deals along the way. Even though I had a couple people in front of me at the checkout, I didnt have a long wait at all. My cashier was so friendly and actually gave me a couple good ideas for the project Im currently working on. Even with my extra clearance items, I was still able to stay under budget since almost everything I bought was on sale. My only recommendation would be for them not to put overstock items on the clearance aisle if it isnt on clearance.

I came by here with my daughter to try and pick up some items that she needed for school. We had one of the employees come out and help us locate the items that we needed and a timely fashion. We found several other items that were adventurous in this store and we decided to purchase them as they were slightly less expensive than the items we found out of the adjacent store.

Helpful staff, showed me right where to go and with a smile while she did it. Thank you!

Jessica in framing is so helpful and courteous. Ive had a couple of items custom framed and she is a joy to work with. This store is also very clean and never a bad experience.

The store was well stocked. Several holiday products were right in the front. The store did not seem overly busy with maybe 25 customers in the store. BUT, is there an easier way to find something other than just searching every isle? I understand not every item can be listed on the isle signs but it was not easy locating a couple items in this store. We also did not have a store floor associate who was not at a register to assist. This seemed odd since only 3 registers were open. Overall a difficult experience but we did eventually find what we came for by pure persistence.

It’s a good place to find home decor items !!

Recently, I came after dropping the kids at school and waited for the store to open, to bring some maps to frame. I entered the store at opening and went to the framing department. Many of the employees saw me and said nothing until I eventually asked if someone could help in framing. One of the men said that framing was separate and didn’t open until 10 (which was not true). So, believing him I left. When I could finally get back by, I waited till 10am. At 10:15 when I went to the framing counter, again, no one was available and the manager told me “she left to go to the bank.” Once she finally arrived, I dropped my very simple, but meaningful to me, order off for “Same Day.” Same day does not mean two day and I was not told 2 day. When I came to pick up the prints, I was just so happy to finally have some antique maps that represented our previous homes, finally framed as a gift to my husband. I got home and was ready to hang them when I saw that after the whole poor service, being lied to and 284.00 later, I now have very poorly framed maps. The maps are not centered within the frames. The edges of the frames are not aligned. I’m sure if I complained I would be called a Karen, however, I am a business woman and when paying for a service, the job should be done well. Plenty of people need jobs. Excellence should be a standard upheld no matter what level of work is being done. When I told the manager about this instance, he really did not care. The only good experience in Michael’s was an older woman named Patty who was incredibly kind while checking our crafting supplies out. I won’t be back to this Michaels and I do NOT recommend them for framing.

Our experience with this store has been one of varied disappointment.Having delivered two prints to be mounted, we paid a higher amount to have these items completed before Christmas. On the scheduled day of completion, we were told the items were not ready. That we would be contacted later that night.The night passed, no call.The following day passed, no call.When we called to ascertain the delay, we were placed on hold for a quarter of an hour before the line disconnected.We called back, & received a Slam Hold. Before being disconnectedOn a third & fourth attempt, the line was immediately disconnected once answered.These are the facts, take from them what you will

I was there for pick up but they gave me wrong item and thenni have to spend more 30 minutes to return it and get the right item.. so there was no point of pick up for me

Found these great Christmas gift treasures and so much more stuff at Michaels.

Unlike the Plano location, this store has a knowledgeable, accommodating, fast and friendly framer in the framing department. Jessica was actually able to finish our transcation with their relatively new system without a glitch and gave a us a receipt for the arts that we left behind for framing (unlike the Plano store)... what a novel idea LOL!

Love me some crafts! Michaels is for sure a go to for my crafting needs. Sometimes even go there just because to see what else we can find to do!

They have a great selection, but their prices have really gone up, especially on seasonal decor.

Professional and polite and if I call to say Im in the area for a pickup they will get my order ready. Love Michaels!!

Know before you go:I saw something online on sale for $15 (regular price was $30) so I went to the location that showed stock. Grabbed it and went to checkout. It rang up for $30 and I questioned why it wasn’t ringing up for the sale price.She said, “Online prices and store prices are different.”But I can order it for curbside or in store pickup FROM THE SAME STORE and get it for the online price and $15 less vs walking into the store and being charged the full $30.This makes ZERO sense to me.Also, cashier is too busy on her phone to pay attention to people waiting for an in store pickup...

I love this Michaels! They’ve always had great service and the nicest employees. During the shut down, I placed my order online, it was ready the next day, and brought to my car for curbside delivery. Such a smooth process!

Anytime i come here there is one cashier and a long line when there are employees just standing around not doing anything. One time I was checking out and the cashier left when she owed me my change. So I was standing there waiting and the manager comes up and says “ um what are you doing” with such an attitude I replied”waiting for my change “ literally don’t know how a Michael’s store could be so bad

I called to ask a question and they were very rude. It was a simple yes or no question, and instead of simply answering me the associate treated me like I was a child. I am very upset and highly suggest not going to this or the Denton locations.

I feel this store has the best customer service in the chain. It feels like the staff loves their jobs....which makes it nice to shop here. The shelves are always stocked and organized. The staff is always helpful and perhaps more importantly knowledgeable.

Michaels has a very wide variety of craft supplies. The store at Vista Ridge is clean and well stocked. Customer service is excellent.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was asked if i needed help finding anything, and they knew right where to go. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. The store was clean and hide a light scent cinnamon and vanilla. Very nice. Prices are reasonable and the always have something neat on sale.

I called in to have some information regarding their inventory and they just hung up on me!!! That’s very low of them. I agree they should hire people with good customer service!!!! This happened today 10/30 around 6:30 pm... I wouldn’t be surprised if people stopped going to this location for their poor customer service.

They always have what I want. I ordered vinyl online it was on sale. Online ordering is difficult though. Was supposed to be ready by end of day. But was not so called and they had my order ready. So many steps for.me to get my stuff. Its irritating I will go to the store instead of online. Unless the deal is good.

Lots of fun stuff for hobby and home holiday decorating with ridiculously high prices. To pay a reasonable price for anything you have to follow a maze of coupons and misleading sale signs. Shelves are well stocked and the employees are friendly.

A lot of items were overpriced but they did have some items priced reasonably. They even had one item I had been wanting for awhile, regularly $55, got it for $15. The strings of beads is what I usually buy when I go here, which are great deals when theyre having buy 1- get 1 sale. Theyre great for making your own jewelry for gifts or sale. Not too many sterling silver findings, and what they do have is silver plated over copper.

Fun place to get craft supplies.

This place has so many knick knacks and patty whacks. Need a hobby or even a side hustle in the creative department, this place is the spot for it. Make sure you get there on time because they close right when 9pm strikes...lol they play no games in making sure they get back to their families and homes. Overall awesome experience.

Good selection, clean store, good discounts. But there is always a line to check out, and one cashier (who always seems to be on the register) seems reluctant to call for backup even when there are 4 or more people in line. Not a good place for a quick shopping trip.

Michaels was a very wonderful store that you can find your arts and crafts materials. I found two wonderful bandanas one is for Breast cancer and the other one is different. The service was very excellent too.

The In-Store pick up option is a joke. I placed an order yesterday(Saturday) around 5 so I knew I wouldn’t get it until today(Sunday). I called them at noon to ask how much longer and was told 1 hour. It is now 3 o’clock and still no word. This has happened any time I do this option. Why don’t I just go to the store and get my items myself you ask? Because I wait just as long in line that I do sitting at home due to there being only one person at the registers.

The sales are awesome! The staff seemed to feel rushed.

Strick coupon policy. Cashier would not let me use coupon because. Said one coupon per customer household per day. I was with my father, separate transactions. He had coupon from website and I am a registered member with coupon. We told her we dont live together. She said she needed to call manager. No thanks. As opposed to Joanns across the street. They literary have a worker walk up to us and hand us coupons. And you can use many and they ate not rude about it. So just go there. And if you need to buy something here just buy it online or else where. There is also Hobby to go to as well.

Excellent collection as always. Coupon circus gets on the nerves at times. Most of times the coupons that you have so carefully clipped dont apply to that specific item you have in your basket :D

Came in looking for testors hobby paint and it was readily available. I had trouble finding it in store but the associate that helped me was very knowledgeable about her store. Great experience I will definitely return for future projects.

Love this store. But managers getting very testy when you have to return items and might have mistakenly misplaced your receipt. And being pregnant, focusing on anything is a job itself. Thumbs down.

I love shopping here. I buy all my DMC cross stitch thread here. Needs a larger cross stitch pattern section, though.

The prices are higher than I expected but they offset this with their ongoing discounts and coupons. The checkout process could be a little better but overall they usually have exactly what I need and them some. Not to mention this location is clean and the staff here is always friendly and helpful.

Its hard to rate a chain store. They are all almost the same. That being said. This store is clean. The employees are extremely helpful. I think the prices are reasonable but, the sales are terrific. Items are plentifully and usually there is a few options to choose from. Thank you!

I like Michaels. As long as its one of the big city stores. Much more to see and buy. Unlike the one in my home town. Its too small and doesnt offer much in the way of crafts. Much less model building stuff I had to go to Hobby Lobby or order online. For others Im certain its perfectly fine. But for me. I was honestly dissapointed. The Michaels in DFW was awesome. Several locations to shop at and tons of inventory.

The new makers space is awesome. Calendar of events on the wall. Helpful associates to help you along.

I love the large number of different crafts, and craft projects that they have to do!

Found what we needed

I enjoy shopping at Michaels because of the several arrays of products and items they offer; but I was dissatisfied after my last visit. I was excited when I saw a sale sign in front of some jewelry I was interested in. The sale sign showed that If I purchased an item at a specific price then it had a new lower price. When I got to the register the item scanned at full price. I mentioned the sign in front of the jewelry to the cashier. She basically ignored me and did not even attempt to show any concern about me as a customer and the issue that I spoke about. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. That really upset me and I told her to remove the jewelry from my transaction. This is not even the first time Ive had to deal with rude cashiers at their stores! They should only hire people who want to work and provide customer service!!!!

Its toss up. I love Michaels and Hobby Lobby equally. I do enjoy that Michaels for their selection of art supplies.

There is ALWAYS a long line with no consideration of this fact, apologies, or acknowledgment. This store is consistently unhelpful. I am making a blanket with yarn specifically from this store. Next time I will make sure I use Hobby Lobby products, as their service is consistently friendly and their staff appreciates its customers.

So i’m currently waiting outside at 7 in summer because the guy wouldn’t let me in. they’re closed but my sister is in there. he wouldn’t even let me wait in the walkway where he was standing, the weather is in the 90s. ive been here many times before and the customer service is absolutely terrible. they never greet anyone or offer any help and the lines go on forever. i work next door and ive been there a lot, i strongly recommend against going there.

Employees are always nice and incredibly helpful. Their sales are amazing and the employees always know just what coupons are going on and if your phone doesnt eork, they usually have it on their to scan. I just love going here!
