I love this place! Zion Market has great fresh produce alongside a plethora of Asian ingredients and snacks. I was able to find many of my favorite Japanese snacks alongside many new Korean foods to try. Theres also a food court that Id love to eat at one day. Im so happy to have such a cool place in the golden triangle!
Love this place! Best fresh fish and all the Korean groceries possible out side of Seoul.
Zion Marketplace was an amazing experience! If you really wanna experience a small portion of a different culture right in our own DFW backyard then go here. They had such amazing food there in a food court food style. The food came from all over Asia and seemed very very authentic.Definitely gonna be going back as soon as I can to try another food place from there!
GREAT SELECTION, CLEAN, GOOD PRICES, SO FAR SO GOODWe recently moved from ATL (Gwinnett Co.) to DFW (Flower Mound.) There are a lot more Korean grocery stores in ATL area, and there is a Zion location there as well. However, Zion ATL is relatively small and we did not shop there. When we moved here, we first went to H-Mart. However, the facility is very old, parking is not the best, and gets crowded. So we tried the Zion market. Here are the goods1. Have everything (grocery items) that H-Mart has.2. Absolutely cleaner and more organized than H-Mart3. THE MANAGER IS absolutely great. Do not know his name, fairly young and tall dude. He is very friendly and quick. I saw him offering a chair to an old lady, who was waiting for someone. You dont see that everyday.4. Better seasoned-meat than H-Mart.5. Lots of clean parking areaOverall, it is a great store. We will continue to shop there.
Very nice, awesome selection of foods, both fresh and packaged. Owned, operated, and designed by the Asian community in Dallas. Extremely pricey, but that keeps the riff raff out. Allows the older Asian community to have a place similar to the markets in their countries of origin.
Our favorite place to get marinated Korean BBQ meats. The teriyaki chicken and pork butt is only $2.99. However, the produce and packaged food items aren’t great. A box of organic apples we got were all soft. And the packaged cod casserole was missing the gochucan. Very disappointing. The drive is too far for us to go back for an exchange or refund.
OMG - such unique and great tasting options! Have been 8-10 times and plan on many more. ALWAYS down for an OK DOG. Asian flare on the COR dog WITH CHEDDAR CHEESE 🧀 stuffed in a giant yummy CORndog and a stick. Asian grocery and cool strip of stores. Only thing keeping that mall alive and the Tool Box with everything you could want.
Very clean Korean/Asian market located inside Music City Mall. Items are squeaky clean and prices are lower compared to H Mart in Carrollton. I love their food court and they taste much better than Galleria Korean market food court in my opinion. I normally walk to music city mall that is connected from the market as I can catch live band performance on a daily basis. Paris baguette on the way out is also great place to meet friends for a quality coffee and pastry. I hope they will bring out more Korean stores in the 2nd floor which could be a real hip. Great market in a great location.
I was blown away at the quality of this supermarket. Such a great variety of fish, meat, and vegetables. This is my new place to shop.
Lots of fresh fruit and veggies at good prices. Their meat section is a little small but well stocked. We really love the fresh fish too.Worth the drive.
They need to do quality control on the packaged items- some of the refrigerated gourmet noodles had gone bad and completely clumped together the moment it was cooked. Very disappointed.
Tried Korean fried chicken. Their spiciest version. It was mild and sweet. I skipped desert.
A wonderful market if you are in the mood for Korrean food, groceries, and some interesting kitchenware, appliances, and some toys. As Zions more like a mini-mall with two floors. Though i have not been on the second floor. They have a bakery, a mentioned toy/figurine store. Plus in the back around the corner is about 6 different restaurants for one to visit. I say its a good place to go. Mostly. Sadly i will say we bought some plain ramen noodles. No broth or anything came with it but thats what we wanted. It was a package of just ramen noodles. The sad part was that the noodles when opened were shown to be covered in mold just out of sight. It may sound silly but make sure to keep reciepts and or give your groceries a good look over.
This is the best part of the mall. I love the bakery, grocery store, and restaurants.
While the rest of the Music Mall wasnt as crowded, its nice to see lots of people at the Zion Market. This mall may make it after all with multiple entries to Zion Market. The produce and meat sections are fresh. It reminds me of an Hmart but with more room to shop especially with a shopping cart. The Zion Food Court is also operational with spaces to sit, more seating spaces than at the Hmart food court.
Nov. 2019The store is fully operational. Its nice and new with fresh goods like meat, produce seafood, and cooked items for purchase. They have a food court and other boutique stores around. Great quality items.Sept. 2019We stopped by while it was still slightly under construction and not fully stocked. There are a lot of items on the shelves and fresh vegetables available. There will be multiple spaces for storefronts once you enter which all appear to be future Asian businesses with Zion as the anchor store.
Zion Market and Zion Food Court are two of my favorite stops in Lewisville. Paris Baguette bakery is also attached to Zion Market and they have incredibly tasty pastries.Theres so much to do here! They have many shops available ranging from skin care to fashion and household items. You can even access Music City Mall from the food court which is kind of handy. They even have Korean corn dogs at Two Hands in their food court and you can get Taiyaki at the La Vie en Rose. Theyre so good!
Great place to find Asian food and meet nice people.👍👍👍
First of all, Its great to have another new Asian grocery store. Of course it still got work to do but it literally just opened. Everything feels clean and new, prices are great as well. Theres a butcher section also a live seafood section. Looks like there are new restaurants/food court coming in, looking forward to seeing how it will turn into in couple months
Soft opening storeIf you fear for your safety, please dont come until the grand opening around mid October. Most items doesnt have a price tag. You need to get a price then you will find out when you check out. Since it is the soft opening there arent a lot of people. No other stores are opened except the Paris Baguette bakery. But if you love bargain, this is the place. A lot of items are lower than any other asian markets.
Very quiet now. But still a great place to shop!
A secret gem! An Asian food court and market. Im so glad I was taken here to enjoy. Ive already been back and will go again!
I love this little market and the bakery inside....the food court is fantastic as well and theres several authentic options to choose from. My only wish is that there was one closer to me in the Denton area!
This place is pretty cool. I cant wait to go back. One of my new favorite places to shop now 😍
Its just a supermarket with meats and vegetables you dont see in mainstream groceries.Dont expect any help, no hellos or may I help you. Not- a -smile.You actually feel youre not wanted there. Get your stuff, give me the money and go.
Food was ok. Not really friendly for whatever reason. I most likely wont go back unless I absolutely need something that others dont carry.
I love this Korean mart. Every now and then, they have good sale for the produce.
The cashier who helped me WIPED his nose with his HAND and picked up my groceries. It was very unhygienic and gross. None of the employees was wearing a mask either.
Nestled within this ghost town of a mall lies the bustling Zion Market. Clean & vibrant. The food court is a fun hangout spot for visitors. Delicious corn dogs are one-of-a-kind and I enjoyed some tasty dumplings. I loved the gift shops! Next time, I gotta stop by the appealing bakery!
They gave me a job for a week and let me go without pay. They couldnt wait for the renewal of ID.
What an awsome way to re purpose a dead mall.
H Mart has this place beat by a longshot. The produce section here is very weak, with many fruits either already gone bad or past their prime. They were also either sold out or do not stock medium size jars of kimchi which seems odd for a Korean grocery store. The meat selection/pricing isnt too bad but is on par with all of the markets in the area leaving no reason to go here other than convenience of location.
This place is still a good place to buy fresh produce like Asian vegetables, American herbs and vegetables and Asian fruits. The prices and variety of ramen soups and instant meals is all good and kitchen department puts out a lot of ready to go snacks, meals and pickled arrangements[ kimchee ] and tofu. The meat and seafood department is also very reasonably priced although im not so crazy about the grocery item prices.
BE CAUTIOUS!!There are expired stuffs. It’s even twice recent two weeks.1 week RERURN policy on the receipt.Very disappointed to their policy unlikely major grocery stores.Note: I called CS if this is refundable and they accepted.==============================This is 3rd review.I have to tell why this became 3 out of 5 starts. Here are some reasons.- Un-fresh and limited produce. I have used Zion market for months but they never improved produce quality and freshness. This causes biggest trouble that people turn their back to other markets. Not only vegetables but also fruits/meats suck.- Limited choice for produce. This make it worse than other markets. Needless to say again- Food cafeteria is not competitive. Zion market hosted some restaurants but couldnt prove all restaurants are good enough. Staffs are typically kind but food quality is just so so. Half of restaurants owners dont seem to qualified for experience or be hands-on DELICIOUS foods yet.I wouldnt go back to Zion market unless they fix above issues esp. produce quality and # of items.=========================================================It’s like authentic Korean supermarket.Zion market will be a game changer to stop legacy Korean or Asian markets monopolies. It started soft opening recently with very aggressive promotion with lower prices than competitors. And they treat popular Korean genuine brands of stuffs unlikely H mart. This is totally opposite to H mart’s approach so far by providing its local brands with poor quality and H mart has benefited a lot and now it is over.Competition is good for customers and it helps us to have more options. My 2 cents,Very reasonable priceFree Zion Wi-FiBad parking environment and it needs to be improved -> this is why 4 out of 5 stars -> expanded parking space and guidelinesNo American Express card accepted yet -> now acceptsInternal connection to shopping mall as big bonus!!!
I love this place!! So many great little food-court-type eateries. And boba!Go there! Oh, they have a full grocery store on the way in.
Its always nice and busy. Clean, organized and people help you there. A little pricey on some things, but overall good selection.
I like it that is not crowded. Breeze check out and fresh products. Only con is that you will have to watch out for expiration date. Some of the snacks are expiring soon or has expired.
Great Korean Corndogs... We will definitely be returning
I purchased some whole fresh fish! Cant wait to cook it.
I know its supposed to have a kind of vibe about it but can they please clear out the old plates and put them in the back. I get sick just walking in this place, feels and smells like Im in a dumpster.
Food court so nice .
Nice Korean supermarket. Lot of stuff is imported from South Asian countries. Very good spread.
I go here to buy fish. There is a limited variety of fish here. The store itself seems to stock a lot of other items.
I liked the market. It is an Asian market and I found a few things I wouldnt find elsewhere. The fruit was good. I will return but not a store I would go to every week. I also want to check out their food at the food court...it looked great. Overall, good place to shop.
This is really one of the best markets in the metroplex. They have expansive and well organized produce, meat and seafood departments. Of course the focus is on Asian foods so if there is a particular staple or ingredient you are in search of then you are likely to find it here. When you finish your shopping be sure not to miss the excellent food court and the Parisian bakery.
Clean, bright and large variety. Inexpensive produce, meats, fruit from California and beer/wine. Has its own medium sized food court.
Their branch is closer to where I live and it is an easy drive and huge parking lot.
Visited Zion Market for the 1st. time. Though located in a shopping mall : Music City Mall, formerly Vista Ridge Mall, the prices are competitive & reasonable. Since I was there for the first time, specifically to look for Rice Paper, I asked an associate in produce about the same and he was courteous enough to take me to the location. The place has a good ambiance, well organised & the staff with a friendly attitude, way better than H Mart ...
Good store but everytime I go theres some mf there who cant drive and almost hits my truck
Very diverse, lots of selection, you will find whatever Asian inspired food you are looking for.
This place is amazing! It has everything H Mart and 99 Ranch has but even more! Its huge and takes a while to go through all the sections, even has a cafeteria but I havent tried it yet. My girlfriend always gets excited when we grocery shop here. The prices are similar to H Mart and 99 Ranch except somethings might be more pricey. But all in all, its a great alternative to H Mart or 99 ranch especially since it never gets as crowded.
Good grocery store for you asain inspired needs. It has all the snaks and shrimp chips we love. Not really impressed with thier meat. However its is a good place to shop.
Great place for Korean Barbecue. Lots of space if youre concerned about social distancing. Lots of variety to choose from.
Very nice produce and excellent meat selection! Terrific prices. I would shop here all the time if it wasnt so far away. Definitely worth the trip, and try out the food court thats part of the Asian market as well. Not the upstairs one thats regular mall food, but the one by Zion market. It is delicious!
This is our go to place for Korean/Asian grocery shopping.Produce isnt always the fresh but it has the items we need. Some items are good priced. We recently purchased dried squid in a package. (if you dont know. its just shredded dried squid or fish)We opened it up few days and found out there were areas that are rotten with mold.We took it back to the store asking for a refund or exchange however since it was opened and depending on condition of our house (i guess he meant by the temperature or weather.. no idea??) that we could of caused the mold and the product being rotten. Its not like my house is a green house or something.Anyways this isnt the first time I interacted with this manager who is in his golf hat. He seems very rude all the time when interacting with a customer. Also not the first time an employee is just flat out rude. One of the customer service cashier was always rude when we tried to return a rotten rice cake from a freezer (now they stopped selling this) ... again pointing finger at us saying its our fault.I submitted a disput with my cc company and apparently Zion market stated a different story saying theyll refund us however it was not in original packaging. What? Seriously? I bought a packed dried squid - do you think Ill just bring that unpackaged? I dont understand.Hopefully someone from corporate looks at this and train the manager correctly.
I hope someone from management reads this.So many things I like about this market, but I have bought spoiled food from their store-prepared foods section (반찬) so many times now, I’ll only be buying prepackaged items from now on.비빔밥 tray totally spoiled and it says it was packaged that day. Totally under or over seasoned 반찬 so it’s inedible. Seaweed soup was basically 다시다 water. Try galleria mart in Carrollton for 반찬.
Fresh fish, wide selection of fruits and veggies. I enjoy shopping at the Asian markets primarily this reason. The food court is pretty good as well.
This store is really good with the vegetables and fruits good prices but they should have more sales to attract more costumers and have more advertisedment to attrack more people overall is a good store
I’m not the type of person to write a review, but this incident made me very upset. I bought marinated short rib from the butcher section (you have to ask for it and they will package it for you) on April 30th, well I didn’t get a change to cook it until May 2 and since the label stated that it was good until May 4th I didnt worry. Well when I went to open the container it stunk, the meat had already gone bad. I called the store this morning and spoke to the manager who I believe his name was Steve and I told him my story but that I did not have a receipt. He said that he wasn’t going to be able to exchange the meat because policy states the in order to exchange it I needed to have a receipt. After much arguing with him he agreed to exchange my meat with out a receipt, however it shouldnt have to be that way. I’m so upset that I want nothing to do with this place and I just rather loose my money. It isn’t my fault that you’re selling people meat and from what I can read from the reviews other products that are spoiled, rotten, and that have mold. This is unacceptable, I really liked this place but after today I will not be coming back or recommending this store to anyone. This definitely needs to be escalated to corporate.
Inexpensive imported asian grocery, snacks, veggies!!! Clean and organized!!! Great customer service!!! After shopping, love to browse the shops of the mall!!!
This market is big and all kind of vegetables and meats. Their meat has good quality and they have deal on those all the time. Good place to shop.
One of the employees wasnt wearing a mask, buffing the floor. I understand workers take their masks off once in awhile to catch a breath in place, but an unmasked employee walking all over the store when there are customers around is unacceptable. Everyone else was wearing a mask including myself, and I certainly didnt appreciate unmasked employee passing by masked customers in such close proximity.
Korean food court and supermarket. Lots of variety of products but almost everything is written in Korean, so many things I never knew what they are. I can imagine that for Korean people its great, for the rest of us not so much
For the room it has its compact so not too bad of a store i liked it a lot of variety
Its a clean grocery store. Some stuffs are cheaper but some are extremely high. I like to shop in 99 ranch place because it has more option and lower price
Hidden gem with Asian delights and delicacies. Really enjoyed the Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) and the K-Dog (Korean hot dog) here.
Nice Asian market that isnt packed like hmart. Pretty sure the food court wouldnt be CDC approved though.
Easily my favorite grocery store. The food court is to die for. The meat and fruit are varied and fresh. This is easily one of the coolest places in town. If you like kimchi, then you must go just to look at the selection.
Great, fairly new Korean market. Great selection. New Korean BBQ next door plus lots of other eateries. Location is where Sears used to be at Vista Ridge Mall aka Music City Mall.
Great.Will visit there again.
Very clean and well stocked. Produce is fresh. Has lots of great Asian food, especially Korean. Has a nice bakery with French style pastries.
The food is relatively fresh and it has a diner and a bakery
Varity of Korean foods.Foods court is nice and clean behind the Zion market.
Generally not as crowded compared to the likes of Hmart and is usually well stocked
Great Asian Market. Fresh produce and Meats.
Better Korean market than Hmart because of the selection and prices. Some ingredients we got in Korea were found here and not the other market. If you shop here often then download their app to scan your receipt and get points back redeemable for a coupon. You can always check their app for sales, too.
I love this market! It has every little niche product I cant find in regular markets as well as a huge selection of fresh produce. The bakery attached has absolutely wonderful breads and snacks. My favorite market ever!
Best rice cake, less crowded, various selection of snacks, some of items are cheaper than Hmart. I definitely wouldnt buy meat there though.
Very good service. Employee very friendly. Good price. All good.
Great option too hmart closer to home and we can event get some Asian food while shopping groceries. The store is clean, organized fair prices.
Its was only 3 minutes away from my house and i went there too many times maybe once a week cuz they had almost H-mark has at least what i needed but never check expiration date til Last two weeks, and found a bunch of item are expired and some will soon to be expire like in two days away to expired that we couldnt finish it. I will post some pictures and receipts for proof and will aslo contact city county for inspection.
Huge space cool laid back environment
Im lovin it too
Great good with reasonable prices.
I had very disappointing experience with their customer service.I have purchased groceries this morning and realized one item was missing when I got home.It was fish product which values 8.33.I got a phone call and explained to the lady and the owner. They didnt even apologize for the inconvenience and told me he is going to call me back next day after the video monitoring. At that moment they made me feel guilty or I was lying for the 8 dollars value.Should I pack by myself when the cashier ringed the products or should I reopen every single bag for the doublecheck whether they packed all the items or not?The worst was how they reacted in a rude and tiring tone. When the customer trust them, they should trust the customer and show respect.Thats the least thing which the business owner requires. Very disappointing and unpleasant experience with them.
Try hotsome chicken the best korean fried chicken I ever had! Gongcha tea is good too! Paris baguette is amazing! I love this Korean shopping center.
I really like this place. Really clean, produce are well laid out and organised. Theres never a long wait at checkout and theres a fairly good selection of product compared to the other korean stores in the north dallas area. Prices are fairly conparable to Hmart.
