In the age of kindle, half-priced books, and Amazon this location at least has done something very cool. In each section there are hand written note cards with personal descriptions of certain books. I found myself ignoring names and covers to read every card. I was with my daughter getting something for school but I have found myself wanting to go back and check some of these books out. Obviously the selection is large but this little trick made it feel more personal despite not speaking to anyone.

Very neat and well organized store. almost wished I had come in not knowing what I was looking for. I had been recommended something from the book-a-month-club and they had three copies of it when I walked in, and the clerk took me straight to it. I bought two copies no problem. Been shopping here something like 15 years now. Hope Its still here in 15 more.

Smaller than other Barnes and Nobles but had what I was looking for. Looks like thr back portion of the store was closed, not sure if that was the music area. This location is quiet, does have a cafe and doesnt seem like it gets too busy which is good noise wise.

I didnt realize there were any Barnes & Nobles stores still open locally. So great to find this gem! Great variety of books & other media. Staff was so helpful. Great way to spend an afternoon finding great books & grabbing a cup of coffee from the cafe.

Staff was very friendly and I love being able to get a coffee and then browse all the aisle. There is so much interesting stuff and of course all the book on all the topics you would need. I get my kids dig kits and make your own kits. Good place for birthday gifts

The best place for books for everyone...my kids love it .we used to go for reading and their storytelling and other events for kids. It’s always the best place for kiddos. My kiddo loves to go there always.

I always go to the Vista Ridges Barnes & Noble to get my books. Although, there was this one time in Vista Ridges Barnes & Noble, where I was charging my laptop near an outlet, and the manager told me harshly to take my charger off the outlet. There was no explanation, and I agreed to take the charger off. Customer Service here is awful, although the Cafes customer service is splendid. This place is small, so I would not recommend going to Barnes & Noble to study.

The employees are always kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Its in Texas, so youll have to walk past the religion section in the very front to get to the science section in the very back.

They have rules set in place to keep space and comfort between the shoppers. The Starbucks is still open, but they are still renovating the back. I hope it opens back up into a play area/reading area for children or adults. I love it here.

I was in Barnes & Noble from 705p until 740p tonight looking for the new Great Gatsby prequel and walked the entire store at least three times. Not once did anyone ask if I could be helped. I decided to go home and order online from Amazon.

The café has tons of seating and the barista is super friendly, if I lived around here Id totally make this my go to B&N. Great location.

This is my go-to bookstore to read and get work done. It is quiet and peaceful. The staff is always very friendly. The cafe baristas have great suggestions and are welcoming to new customers or kids that are there to do homework. Great location to visit.

I love this location! They are always stocked well, their employees are kind and helpful, and its always peaceful and quiet. I have been going to this Barnes & Noble for years and Ill continue to go because I always have such a good experience with them. Theres never a product I cant find. Even during the holiday seasons when theyre busy they always keep the lines moving at a steady pace and the cashiers are very sweet. Definitely would recommend to a friend!

Barnes and Noble is always an enjoyable experience (except at the Holidays) the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable, and at most times available. I often have difficulty finding the genre Im looking for because signage is not easily seen. You can always find an impulse purchase, a fun gift for readers of all ages, plus traditional family games. An extra perk is, of course, Starbucks and the ability to relax while browsing magazines or your new purchase.

It seems as if the new ownership of Barnes & Noble has directed the stores to re-catagorize a lot of books. Sci-fi/Fantasy has been split up into separate categories with a third category of Urban Fantasy thrown in to confuse the issue. Horror is now its own category and thrillers have been lumped in with the mysteries. I am not sure if it is because of the split, but the selection of sci-fi and fantasy seems smaller than it used to be.

All the employees here are super helpful and friendly. Ive gotten into so many conversations about books and they have given me great recommendations. If they dont have a book you need they are quick to order. I come here all the time.

This was my first time shopping at the Lewisville Barnes and Noble and I have to say it is one of my favorites. Its not too big so its easy to find everything and all of the shelves were well stocked. Im glad they have kept the music area and the coffee was great! I will definitely be returning to this location.

The store is nice but its getting harder to find books in there that arent currently popular. More shelf space is being devoted to games and gifts. I know they have to do this to sell what they need to stay open, but its a bit sad. Its still nice to go in and grab a real (non-digital) book every once in a while, especially for the kiddos.

Super amazing selection of books (mainly new) reference, languages, best sellers, manga, any book you can possibly imagine. But not only books, they have magazines, music (vinyls, cds) toys, and an amazing staff that is very knowledgeable on what you might need. They also have a Starbucks inside to drink coffee while you read.

Had great help with a girl named Isa who found a book Id been hunting for over 10 years with no luck. A wonderful experience

I had bought multiple of the Angel Catcher albums or binders back in 1997 at Barnes and Noble Bookstore in order to help me cope with my oldest daughters death. It is a notebook that you relate to one on one with your loss. It was extremely helpful.Some pages have questions. Some pages allow you to write what happened on each day of the year. It is memories. Events. In the back of the notebook or binder it has a pocket to put whatever you choose to. The Angel Catcher is no longer in the bookstore but a new version can be ordered online costing between $35 to $40. And they now have a version for kids to help them cope too. If you order online it takes about a week and then is held for 5 to 7 days before the book goes onto the shelf.

I was looking for a childrens book about Dragons and 1 about Nursery Rhymes. The lady who helped Me knew right where to look. The books she showed be were perfect.

Their spirituality and self-help sections are shrinking a bit. But beyond that its still very good store and very clean very well organized. The inside is very beautiful and comforting.

I walked in the door and was asked if I needed help. Eventually I did and the person was very helpful and went out of his way to help me find the book and even went into the back to look. There is a huge selection of books here but also magazines, movies, and music. There are also a lot of toys for kids of all ages. The children section is very good with many books and toys.

Good service from minute you walk in the door. Great organization, great atmosphere! And a coffee shop to boot . . .

Very very helpful staff. A good deal of the books I was looking for werent in stock and had to be ordered, which is okay but I kind of wanted them now. Only down side was the cashier pushing the membership card on me so heavily. Persistence is okay in sales but after I say no twice that should be it. Asking seven times was a bit upsetting.

Easy park. Plenty outlets. Great Wi-Fi. Friendly faces. My daughter got her first free B&N book at this location participating in summer 📚. They welcome everyone. Starbucks area is perfect and the workers are too. The staff here informed me of different programs, fun ways to get my son to read and much more. Its just a great place.

Mediocre at best. The CD selection is a degrading experience, the movies are, at best, okay, and the books I want they usually aint got BUT they do offer to order them. The staff pushes some membership on you and get reaaaaaalllly pesky bout it. Other than that, the store itself is pretty good. Well maintained, no bad experience with the staff, and the toys they had were perfect for my girlfriend.

I ordered online and came to pick up a Christmas gift for my daughter. This was my first visit to this location. It was a very pleasant experience. I received stellar customer service at checkout and at the cafe. I received a coupon to try out cookies from the cafe. I ordered sugar cookies and the grilled four cheese sandwich. The sugar cookies are huge and tasty! The grilled cheese is the best Ive tasted so far. Its ooey goey perfection. I definitely recommend trying it if youre a cheese lover. I will be visiting again!

Some years ago there would be nothing remarkable about this bookstore, however as these stores become more obsolete, this B&N may have some of its survival attributed to the location. There are a number of other stores close to it and ample free parking right in front.There is also a coffee shop with snacks located inside this B&N.

I ordered two cups of coffee which my Husband and U were going to enjoy together.The clerk told me that it would take 5 mins to make and I said that was fine. AS soon as we sat down they announced store was closing at 8 pm.She could have mentioned that to me .I was dissappointed!
