I visited several boat shops in the state in search of a tritoon this spring and came back to Mountain Top. Steve was my salesman and was great! He was patient, knowledgeable and quite humorous. Super great guy all around.Summer was quick, efficient and easy to communicate with. She made the process of paperwork completely painless. She sent an email with the documents that I needed and the ones I needed to fill out and have with me at signing.Sweet Melissa was AMAZING! I wanted custom vinyl color and font lettering and she NAILED it. So kind and helpful.And Jay! AMAZING. He and his team made me feel VIP. They said YES to all of my special requests including my power pole. The special attention I feel I was given made the experience complete. About a month ago I purchased a boat sight unseen., since none is available. Mountain top was getting one one in that month and I placed a deposit on it . This left no room for negotiations but both Steve and Jay made the purchase process simple and were kind enough to give me a military discount as well. Although we had a small glitch, Jay handed it for me. I would recommend them.

I work offshore. Negotiated with the salesman via phone calls and emails over a weeks time (the reviews saying the dealership was hard to reach is mind blowing) Bought it over the phone. Boat was ready when promised with my upgrades. Took delivery as scheduled. Great people, great prices and great service 10 stars.

I was looking for a new pontoon boat. This business does carry a good brand and the prices seen reasonable. I would not have a problem buying from them however you may run into the typical salesperson who does not follow up very well.Overall probably normal but if he was better I wound have given them a better rating. Due to this I did purchase from another company.

Sean and Summer helped us find a great Starcraft boat. This is our third boat that we’ve purchased from Mountain Top over the past 20 years. We Have really enjoyed purchasing our boats from Mountain Top Marine because they make the process so easy. They also do a great job servicing the engine. I highly recommend buying your boat from them.

Called their parts department three times over two weeks to try and buy a replacement part for my nauticstar. Voicemails and never get a return call. Based on this level of service would be cautious about buying a boat from them.

They are obviously busier than normal and didnt have many boats in stock, but still took time to help me find a good fishing boat for me and my boy. We cant afford a lot but they worked with my budget to get my payments where I am comfortable. I appreciate it guys and hope to see you in a few years to upgrade.

Me and my wife were looking for a used pontoon boat, trying to do the best we can on a budget. Still very aware how blessed we are for the chance to even have a boat. We visited this location and we were greeted promptly and professionally by a salesmen, I think his name was Butch. We were shown several used pontoon boats, we were leaving, my wife needed to use the restroom. I walked in with her and walked her to the restroom and stood nearby, I overheard the owner or manager laughing at our salesman about showing us the used pontoon boats, and making a joke about showing us some lesser models that were more fixer uppers, Im not sure exactly what he said, he didnt know I was in the building. Our salesman was polite and tried to assess our needs. The manager or owner, sounded like he was making fun of us because we were not trying to buy a brand new boat. My wife didnt overhear him, she was in the restroom, but I did. Its been weighing on me, not eating me up,but Ive thought about it from time to time. It was mean, and not respectful toward your fellow man, much less a potential customer. Maybe I should have walked back to your office and addressed the comment at that moment, but I am not to blame here.

Initially I was upset with Mountain Top for the following 2 reasons.1. Charged $119 for a lake test, then charged another $120 to change spark plugs and fuel filter when they were supposed to call before working on the boat.2. We returned the boat a 2nd time. (Boat still cutting out after 45 minutes running when boat maintains a speed of 13 mph). They did a computer test found an over rev and suggested that we were abusing the boat, but no problems found and none corrected($60).There were other issues concerning warranty. This WAS NOT Mountain Tops fault, but an issue with the dealership where the boat was purchased and Mercury Corporation.I want to thank Sean, the owner, for contacting my parents immediately when he found out we were displeased. He promised to make things right.Dad took the boat in a 3rd time. He and the mechanic put it on the lake and observed the issue the boat was having. The mechanic replaced the spark plugs again (not sure why) and replaced the fuel line where a small fuel leak was found.Dad and mechanic ran it another hour on the lake and it appears to be fixed. We hope to put it on the water this weekend for further testing. Sean said to call if it gives trouble.I appreciate Seans attentiveness to address our concerns.

Tried to purchase a boat from here and called at least 6 times about it. Everytime I called the sales rep Steve didnt remember me and would ask me for my name and number again. He told me everytime that he would call me as soon as the boat came in and he gave me a couple etas for boat the boat but he wasnt exactly sure when it would be there. I passed by the lot today and I saw the boat i was waiting on sitting in the yard but I never received a call. I got a bad vibe after a few phone calls to him not remembering me and asking me for my name and number each time so I started looking elsewhere and I ended up purchasing a boat from another dealership. Disappointed in how things happened because I would of liked to purchase a boat from a LOCAL dealer. So id say they are unorganized and very forgetful to say the least.Updating with response to owner,I was trying to purchase a Starcraft LX model pontoon when I came by on the 13th of May I told the sales rep a fishing model or a cruise model.Response 2,Are you that ignorant that you allow people that work for you not to follow up with your customers? Or better yet everytime I call the same sales rep he doesnt know who I am and asks me for my name and number over and over and blamed it on the fact that he was older? Than a LX model pontoon arrives and I dont even get a phone call??? I noticed that everytime someone has left a bad review for your business that you get defensive/arrogant/rude... thats bad for business pal and it will catch up with you in the long run. Pull your phone calls and you will see what Im talking about, obviously you dont know what was said when I came by in person but you can hear the conversations via recordings.

Been trying to buy a Starcraft SVX171 Deckboat...getting someone to call you back is like pulling teeth!!! You think when a man is about to spend 30k on a boat they would make you a priority???

I personally would NEVER give Mountain Top Marine a single dime. They have horrible customer service and are extremely disrespectful. We went there just taking a look at boats to get an idea of what we wanted and the salesman was completely rude. Against my better judgement, we gave it another chance, this time knowing what we wanted. We were met by a lady and she was condescending, disrespectful and flat out rude. They would not work with us, insulted us and had no desire to sell anything. She flat out lied. I don’t care if it was the “best deal in town,” they are not worth any money spent.

I dont know how my experience with Mountain Top Marine could have been any better. This was my first ever boat purchase,so I dont have anywhere else to compare with. All I can say is that I was very well pleased with the whole place. No pressure salesman, lots of boats. When I had questions,the salesman wasnt to far away to answer. They gave me my space. And when I had made my choice. They were all very professional,and treated me like I feel all dealers should treat there costumers. Thanks Mountain Top Marine...

I took the prop off of our boat thered to have the hub replaced. They were very nice and did exactly what they said they were going to do and the part was ready when I said it would be ready and cost and what they said it would cost. Everyone there was very nice and their customer service was excellent.

Quality, price and a referral is what originally got me to the store. I think service will keep me going. Here is my story: While unloading the boat around midnight after a great day on the lake, I saw some oil where it shouldnt be and I thought something was seriously wrong with the new boat. I called on friday night/saturday morning at 1am in the morning for help (I had family coming in to fish later that day saturday) and I left a message. 30 minutes prior to the store opening on Sat morning someone was calling me to bring the boat in, someone met me at the door, after a quick adjustment they had me happy and driving away, 15 minutes tops. Saved the day. To expect that kind of service would be a bit much...but... I got it. Oh yea, they are friendly, kind, courteous and all that stuff also. You know, I have a plenty of nice, polite friends but I needed a boat pro and got it. Use these guys!
