Nothing like this in Lexington! Nathan is such a nice guy and these guys make some really good beer. If I ever get my act together and start homebrewing, I know where Im getting my stuff!

This is a locally owned and operated home brew store. Ive had multiple interactions with these folks and theyre always very helpful, even to a fairly amateur brewer like myself. The prices are very fair. Cheers!

Great selection and hands down the best customer service of any business around. The owner has brought the same great prices and huge selection offered through their online store to the new B&M location. Whether you are a new brewer or an old pro I cant recommend Brewer Dude enough!

Unfortunately this review is tainted by poor communication. I always want to support local businesses, however, when I placed this order not only did I wait a month to receive it, but I also received an incorrect recipe kit (of much lesser value than the one I originally paid for). I tried numerous times to contact the owner, including leaving several voicemails explaining the issue and also dropping by the business with no luck. I had hoped, and would be happy to, receive the monetary difference between the order and the kit I received. I really wish I could have been able to continue to support this local business. Lets be real fellow brewers, there is a BIG difference between a juicy NEIPA kit, and an Oaky IPA kit. Perhaps the owner will make this right eventually...Update 4 weeks later 6/23. Still no contact or reimbursement.

Stopped by on a rainy Sat to pick up an ingredient I needed for a recipe. The owner was extremely friendly. They are clearly family-oriented, which is nice to see. I was surprised to learn they ship all over the US. It is great to have a homebrew shop again in Lex. I think this one will make it, and I could see it one day turning into the Listermann’s of the Bluegrass. Thankfully, I’m done ordering grain and yeast from out of state.

Lexington is lucky to have this place. Not only is it now the ONLY Homebrew supply store, but the prices are beyond reasonable. I find myself paying half what I would have for ingredients on Amazon or MoreBeer. Not only that, but the owner is a genuine person who is passionate about brewing. The inventory is everything you could need, from every base malt you can name to every piece of equipment you might need in a hurry. The selection of yeast and hops is wide and varied. I cannot recommend this store enough.

Mostly an online store, very few supplies are available to buy locally. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The parking situation is a problem, especially at night, and the location of the store is really inconvenient, and not in a good part of the town. Hesitant to go again, online is preferred.

Friendly, knowledgeable, clean and good supply of stock and accessories for brewing beer and making wine.

Nathan and the Brewer Dude crew are awesome. Lex has needed a LHBS like this, support them and we all win
