First thing. I really loved Black Flag Comics. I’d buy from them and I’d get high quality books, great service, quality packing and even bonus stickers or books sometimes.But I don’t know what has happened the quality has just fallen off. They promise 9.2 or better on most books and that’s about what they deliver. I used to get awesome books, possible 9.8s. But that has seemed to all gone away.The customer service has also fallen off. I sent them an e-mail and after about 5 business days I got a response that told me they would check on it and get back to me on Monday. Never got the follow up. The books arrived about 3 weeks after, again at the lowest promised grade.Just understand if your wishing to get better than promised grades don’t get your hopes up. They do deliver as promised but don’t expect much more.

Got the comic book I wanted at a great price. The issue I received was in perfect condition.

Been with Jason from beginning when he was just in a room in his house with music playing in the background and selling great books while coffee was delivered by his beautiful daughter. Things begin to change when his “bombshell” wife, April who truly knew very little about comics. Her laptop, peppy personality and wonderful giggle that revamped the now husband/wife comic team! There is no one that packages and ships better than April. Jason and April now offer elite services while never missing a beat and still providing A+ Customer service.

Since the early days of April and Jason auctioning comics on live stream. Then watching them grow to the point where they have their own variants of top tier comics. I have followed and watched their constant push for high quality customer service. The personal touch in everything they do and the easiest purchase options. These guys are my “go to” for my Clayton Crains, and Iron Clad specials. It’s been fun to watch them grow. Most of all it’s been great to watch them not loose that personal touch.

Coming into the comic book world during covid was overwhelming with so many groups and with groups with members that are life long enthusiasts of comic books and it was like the new kid at school trying to find a good click. Black flag comics was one of the first groups I joined and started picking up on some of the terminology and when I had questions April or Jason were more than happy to answer and not answer in a rude way. I enjoyed their live shows, pretty entertaining. Ive purchased items and when something didnt come thru that was ordered they went above and beyond to fix it and fixed it right away. Customer service is horrible and to top it off watch what you order. Murder editions that are supposed to be signed with a blood type signature should be the actual color of blood. Not a random color that is chosen by Clayton Crain. Who bleeds yellow? Will never support this company or Clayton Crain again.
