I could not be more pleased with the way my old cat-ripped chair was transformed into the focus of my great room by the skilled hands at Texture Design Fabrics & Upholstery. After knocking around the rows of fabrics, all tempting and gorgeous, I was drawn like a moth to the flame to this crazy fabric of green circles on a chocolate ground. It was just the new skin needed for a high Victorian mahogany structure chair that has been in the family for decades. TDF&U nailed it with double piping around the contact points with the wood. Then ... I spied a wild faux fur remnant reminiscent of raccoon hide. It made the perfect complement pillow to support the lumbar. I love this marriage of patterns and textures. And what a marvelous outcome! My family loves it! Thank you Jerry and Michael!

I wish I could select 10 stars for Jere and this fabulous company. He and his team have been spectacular. Jere is very perceptive about what a client needs and has the patience and perserverance to get it right!! I will do ALL my business here in the future. He has probably once of the best selections of fabric I have seen anywhere. His team does top notch work and he has a true talent and a great eye for what would be the best fabric on whatever piece you want done. Everyone should choose Texture Design for their design needs.

Jere and his team reupholstered 10 chairs, a large couch, living room chair, ottoman and many pillows for me. I couldnt be more pleased!!! Fantastic workmanship!!! Exquisite work! I highly recommend them!

The customer service from Michael and Jere was exceptional. Our bar stools that were reholpostered look beautiful. Also, the pillows look beautiful as well. This business is so efficient and professional. We highly recommend this company.

When I arrived in Lexington a truck load of hand me downs, dumpster dives, and failed purchases followed. I didnt have the money to start over or the talent to make it all work in my small 2bdrm house. Enter Jere of Texture Design Fabrics, he looked at some pictures on my phone and before I knew it he had bolts of fabric, two small tables and a large comfy looking club chair in front of me. Long story short, within 6 weeks he had recovered a couch, 3 chairs, a couple of ottomans, and a headboard. The transformation was incredible. For less than the cost of a new sectional sofa I had a house with a cohesive design and feel. The only problem is now I cant pass up any old beat up chair because I know the guys at Texture can make it new again.

I had Jere and team recover a vintage chair and make matching pillows and curtain tiebacks. I love the results, and Texture will be my go-to for upholstery as long as its in business!

Jere and his team are full service! I brought in 2 chairs to be recovered. Jere helped me pick the exact shades of various colors to create the vibe I was looking for! About a week later I brought in a French piece and I had no idea of what to cover it with...AGAIN the team found the perfect fabric for the period piece. They are very fair with pricing, also they make custom curtains! They also have a quick turn around time.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had. In mid-October we took glider and ottoman cushions that we wanted re-covered. When I asked for an estimate, I was given a price, which seemed reasonable. But after picking out the fabric and Jere rung us up, it turned out the initial price was only labor, so the total was almost double. I was told the cushions would be ready around November 16, maybe sooner. On November 20th, I called to ask about the cushions, and the person said he would check and call me back. He didnt call back. I called again on November 23rd, and was told theyd be ready at the end of the day on the 24th. My husband went by to pick them up on November 30th, and the store was closed, even though it was during business hours. After that, I lost track of how many times I tried to call, and no one answered. I messaged over Facebook -- no reply. I emailed -- no reply. My husband ended up going to the store and finding someone there. The cushions werent ready. Well check today and call you back. They didnt call back. My husband went again and Jere attempted to call the person doing the cushions; the person didnt answer. Jere said he would go by to check on the cushions and call my husband. He didnt call. My husband went back again, Jere apologized for the delays, asked for my husbands number, and said he would check on the cushions. He never called back. After a week, my husband went to the store, and an employee was there. The employee brought one of the cushions out and the employee showed my husband that the work done was not acceptable. We were told the cushions would be ready on XX day (Ive lost track of the dates). As my husband was about to head to the shop, Jere called to say they werent ready, but they would be ready the next day. My husband went the next day, and they were not ready. Jere apologized again and said he would call when they were ready. He didnt call. I called, an employee answered, and he said they were ready. My husband picked up the cushions, and considering how much money I spent on them, I am very disappointed with the quality. I realize that COVID poses many challenges for business owners. But I dont believe there is any excuse for lack of communication or responsiveness, especially when the customer has paid in full, up front. And when it takes more than twice as long to do a project as what is estimated, the product should be well-made. To top it off the cushions smell like cigarette smoke, and we are not smokers.June 18, 2021: I appreciate your reply and your offer to re-do the cushions. At this point, we would prefer to not hassle with the back and forth of getting them redone. However, we would certainly appreciate a partial refund.

I’ve been very happy with the quality of the workmanship on the pieces Texture “re-created” for me. I’m confident in their ability to produce excellent results.
