Shannon Lamps repaired a lawyers lamp beautifully for us several years ago and lately a bathroom sconce that blew. The work is not only spot on but done very timely. I took my Grandmothers 75-year-old lamps to Shannon Lamps and they rewired and repaired them to better than original condition! They also made custom-fit lamp shades to replace the broken ones we had. They did a wonderful job with my old lamps, and I bought a new table lamp they had custom-made from a Makers Mark bottle. Shannon Lamp Service has refurbished a lamp and built three lamp shades for my house. The refurbished lamp had a new brass extension added along with the socket. This lamp had a round shade replaced with a more suitable shade design. This family-owned-and-operated shop is a treasure trove of everything to do with lamps. Upon showing Mr. Shannon a picture of an antique floor lamp inherited from my grandparents that needed a new shade, he immediately knew the right size, shape and style for it - and had several, which he had made himself, in stock. Service was so personable and knowledgeable that I plan to go back for rewiring and a new shade for an antique table lamp I own - and buy another lamp I saw there!
