Rytec sent Clinton and David to ground some outlets in my new house that had been identified during inspection. Mid-job they realized one of the outlets had an existing wire, and the final cost was reduced significantly from the estimate. Being a layman, I never would have known the difference. Our neighborhood was taken apart by a super cell or tornado not sure which. My power was out and my electric panel attached to outside of house was ripped off the building. My power company does not restore power until that box is fixed. I called Rytec and from the moment I spoke to Lori she made me feel comfortable and that she cared. I needed them to correct the installation of my video camera doorbells and correct the installation of my wi-fi motion activated floodlights. Installation had been initiated by another vendor, who did not complete.I should have contracted with them initially -- prompt; 8 am. appt for estimate -- they were pulling into my driveway at 7:55 am. 8 am service appt.-- they were in driveway at 7:55 am, and went to work at 8 am, beginning by reiterating what was scheduled to be done. They were in and out in 44 minutes.One of my doorbells was defective, therefore, had to be mailed back to vendor. We scheduled the installation service upon arrival of replacement doorbell, and I experienced the same service.Will definitely use them again.

We bought a home that had some terrible DIY work done and so we wanted it fixed and inspected to ensure our house doesnt burn down. I called several companies to get a quote on installing new electric service in my garage to support Tesla electric vehicle chargers. I got quotes from three companies, including Rytec.I chose to go with Rytec for the following reasons:- Rytec had excellent reviews on Google- Rytec had the lowest price proposal of the 3 received- Spencer, the electrician who came to evaluate the work, was well-spoken, friendly and professional. We discussed several ways to accomplish the task, and the pros and cons of each.Once the plan was received, here is how the project went:- I had a few questions about the dimensions of the panels they planned to install. I called the office and Steve went over the project, and then pulled the panel from his warehouse to give me specific dimensions.- After accepting the quote, permits were requested from my county- The work was scheduled to begin within 10 days- Within two days I had an emailed quote for the work.- Rytec coordinated with the power company and the county electrical inspector for the installation date (power had to be removed from my home)- They arrived on time the day of install with two electricians (Spencer and Michael), who approached the project with energy and focus. Both electricians had valuable experience doing other charger installs for electric vehicles- The end result was a beautifully installed solution, with attention to detail and fully inspectedI highly recommend Rytec, and commend Spencer and Michael for their workmanship and skill. Work done: Replacement of main electrical panel with surge protector, replaced 3 outdoor entrance lights, replaced two double outside flood lights, replace bathroom ceiling vent fan.Two electricians came at the scheduled time. They were very considerate and helpful, and kept me informed throughout the project. They did an excellent job of all the electrical work and cleaned up after themselves in each location. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the labeling of the main electrical panel. They found the rooms and appliances for each breaker and labeled it accordingly. I am very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to have them back for any other electrical work I may have in the future.I am back later to add I have had them back again for another project (replacing the exterior light at my back door), and although it was a different electrician, the work was as impressive as the first time. He was neat, through, and very professional. Rytec is definitely my electrician!

Wow! Very impressive and detailed explanation of work completed in the panel. We contacted other companies and prices outrageous. If you build a custom home, keep in mind you need a power surge protected because the builders cut corners and don’t include or tell you that you need one. Don’t hesitate call Rytec Electric with regards to anything electrical!

I asked for and got four estimates for our electrical projects. The work order involved installing a new electric breaker panel, new portable generator, troubleshooting lack of electric power in home office and installing three GFCI receptacles. Though the lag time between the initial visit from Rytec and cost estimate was longer than anticipated, I kept waiting for the Rytec estimate because the online reviews of their work (e.g., Angie’s List) were positive. Rytec scheduled the work within one week of rendering a final estimate! Clinton and the owner, Steven Scheeler (who is a licensed electrician) arrived on time and were on site from about 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. They were extremely conscientious, courteous and professional. Did not even bother to take lunch. Clinton was able to identify and fix the faulty receptacle in our home office in less than one hour. Walked me through and demonstrated how to operate the new generator. Cleaned up while doing the work. First-rate job installing the new electric breaker panel. Impressed with the obvious rapport between Steven and Clinton. Clearly, Steven does a good job of working with, leading and managing Rytec personnel. Kudos too to the operations manager, Tyler Best, who kept me informed and responded to my many questions. I was so impressed with their work on this job that when Steven said our upstairs receptacles were wired to accommodate three-prong receptacles (we had almost all two-prong outlets) I asked them to come back and replace them. Gary and Kip returned a week later and got the work done in a few hours. No hesitation in calling on Rytec Electric again when need electrical work done.

My experience with Rytec has been amazing! The team from the electricians in the field to the individuals in the office have been some of the most professional employees Ive done business with. I had my whole house re-wired, not a very enjoyable experience. Jerry and Spencer arrived at my house and were 100 percent upfront about the electrical inspection and costs associated. I was under a very tight timeline and needed the work to start ASAP, however Jerry was scheduled for vacation and wouldnt be able to start work for a couple weeks. Rytec was able to work with me and sent Tom, Spencer and Isaiah to start a week early. Prior to going on vacation Jerry and Tom showed up a few days prior to the start date and Jerry walked him through all the details to ensure a smooth transition. Once the work started Tom, Spencer and Isaiah were extremely professional and I couldnt have asked for a better team to work on my house. The guy they sent, Clinton, did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The only complaint I have is with the way the updated invoice was handled and that they dont do any kind of wall/ceiling repair to any holes made. Expect to pay around $120 per hour (we had a small project of replacing outdated ceiling lights). The results are great though!
