I have gotten my calipers painted and a chrome delete from here and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to get these services done. My caliper paint has chipped not once but TWICE. I’m no expert but I’m certain caliper paint is supposed to last longer than just a few weeks. On top of that, the chrome delete was not done well at all as one can see in the pictures. They even tried to patch up a spot which is totally unprofessional. I’m very unhappy with these services and would suggest going someplace else instead of Luminex.

Had radio installed in my Ford F150, was initially not pleased with the installation but Avi more than made up for it. Great customer service although the wait was a little long but well worth it in the end. I highly recommend Luminex Lighting!!

Came to Luminex for a tint job on my Camry. Saif and Avi took great care of me and suggest the 20% tint with ceramic. The job was done in few hours and the tint on the vehicle looks exceptional! These guys know their stuff and the customer service is great. Highly recommend!

Do NOT go here for window tinting. There are many other options. I have been 3 times and still have defects and air bubbles. Quality is bad, workmanship is bad, customer service is bad. Literally do not trust them to fix it because they have not done it properly. Overall my experience was good. I must say it did have a shaky start as the male attendant had me down for the wrong time and lights I thought I was about to have a big disappointment. So I quickly stated I was no longer interested And walked out. Just as I got to my vehicle I get a call from the female attendant (whose name I can’t remember, I think Vanessa) who asked me if I could come back inside and reluctantly I did. I’m so glad I did because she not explained to me what the mishap was but she had the lights and got me in at my 10am appointment. I wasn’t even in the waiting area(which is really nice and has great air) 15mins before she came back to get me. Overall I had a great experience and will come back and recommend others. Specially for her since she knew what she was doing. Love it!

I’m here now for the 3rd time in 2months. Very disappointed that the tint bubbles up as well as their lack of having a schedule. I paid over $500 to get my car tinted not to come hangout. SMH. It shouldn’t take 3+ hours to redo a windshield. Every time I ask how much longer they continue to lie.

These guys did a fantastic job with my car. The price for quality is reasonable I would say. My tiny is as good as factory for sure.I am driving a VW it had 32%tinted glass on all the windows from factory other than driver, passenger and windshield. I had them aaf 20% to the rear 65% of the vehicle. Its a smaller crossover, tiguan. Its probably at about 12% now. I love it the front driver and passenger side I had them make the darkest legal. I wish it was darker but that is not their fault at all.At any rate the cut lines at the top of the windows on all windows after absolutely fantastic, I am a very detailed person and couldnt come close to that.Oh yeah I have had this tiny for 16 months and not even a hint of a bubble.In a nutshell these guys have my tinting business with the next vehicle I own as well no doubt.

I set up an appointment for opening 10am I arrived at 9:45am. Employee arrived at exactly 10am to open the store. I told him I wanted a two front window tint he said no problem I can do it right now. He took my keys and took my vehicle right into the bay. I was then told the waiting room was at the other end of the shopping plaza. Which you have to walk about 5min down to no problem if its not raining. I waited then 1.5hrs with no update on my vehicle. I went back out to only find the guy who said he was doing my windows working on another car. I asked whats going on with my vehicle he said he would walk back down to the other location to check. We walked back to the window tint store and they were pulling another vehicle out the bay that pulled in behind me. They hadnt even started on my windows yet. I was the first on there with an appointment and he serviced another car before mine. I then had to wait another hour before my vehicle was finished. Very bad customer service but the tint looks to be go so far.

Absolutely Awful! It was my first time going there to get my windows tinted for my new car. I was told over the phone it would be about 2 hours and ended up sitting there for 4 hours! 3 hours in, I asked ( because no one was giving me any update) how things were going. I was told my car was almost done, another 15 min & I should be ready to go... 45 min later, they drive my car out of the garage but then drive it back. Again I have to ask whats going on before Im told they forgot to do the front windshield. 15-20 min later my car is brought out but the tint percentages were wrong on three of the windows. I had to make an appointment to come back two days later so it can be fixed. This time it took 2 1/2 hours just to retint the three windows. When it was finally done there were all sorts of water marks from the work all over the outside and inside my car. I wasnt expecting them to detail my car afterwards, but at least clean up after yourself. If you value quality & your time, Look Elsewhere!

Quoted price changed when I took my car in for service. Also had them install a spoiler on my car. The guy that installed had an attitude. I had to return because the spoiler was loose. Terrible customer service.

My boyfriend took my car here to get tints and its horrible. There are gaps at the top of the windows on 2 of my doors while other 2 are fine. Also has these tiny bubble things in my windows not sure if that is air or dirt but looks bad. My boyfriend choose the shop. If I saw these bad reviews I would have never took my car here. I called 2 other shops to get a price to redo and their prices was high for the removal. So Im just stuck with it until I sell the car next year.Response to owner: My boyfriend did call about it and the person on the phone didnt seem to want to help nor give us an appointment to come in to fix it so I will pass.Dont be fooled by the recent good reviews, they are clearly fake. Every one of them have the employee names in them which is a sign they are being asked to leave reviews. Probably offering discounts so basically buying reviews.

Great place, not the Quickest but they have a nice waiting room and popcorn. Prices are average, there are Groupon deals out there, and the tint quality is pretty good.

This was the first time ever I was getting my windows tinted and I was a little nervous going into it, but they made the process so easy! I got there at 5pm today and they had my car windows tinted by 5:40pm. Young lady Vanessa who helped me inside gave great customer service and was very friendly and knows her job very well. I had an amazing experience at luminex. Down from the staff to the services that were done to my car. The prices were reasonable and I was in and out. Definitely check them out for your next car upgrade !

I found their ad on Facebook marketplace and they had decent reviews so I made an appt. I also knew I had to work later that evening of the appt so I asked how long it would take to make sure I could have some wiggle room to make it to work on time. I was told an hour but no more than an hour and a half. Okay, great. I arrived on time to the address given to me (which was not the name of the place I had seen in the ad). I went to the door and there was no one inside and it was locked, which was weird seeing as how I had an appointment to come to this address. I called and texted the number posted on the door with no response. I waited about 15 minutes then decided to go back to the ad and Google the name of the company that was on the ad. Thankfully it was a few minutes away so I went there, just to be sure. When I arrived I let them know I was at the other address waiting and had to ask why that address was given to me a few days prior. Fast forward, I gave them my keys and expected to wait around for about an hour and a half. I hadn’t heard anything in an hour and a half so I called and was told my car would be done in another hour bc there were a few other cars ahead of me (now putting me at three hours past my scheduled appt time and the time I needed to be at work). Since I was already there and waiting I said okay, and called my job to let them know I would be late. Fast forward another hour, hadn’t heard anything so I called again and was told it would be another 35 mins. I finally got my car back 4 hours after my appt time. When I finally went to pay there was also a $10 service fee added for paying with a credit card which I was not informed about prior to swiping but at that point I just wanted to get out of there, get my kids home and rush to work.

Luminex Lighting should have their business license revoked for their incompetence and less than satisfactory work. I came in to have my widows tinted and the work was poorly done to say the least, on top of that they do not respect your appointment. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money by taking your business elsewhere. But what can you can expect when your offering promotional discounts on Groupon. This is a prime example of you get what you pay for. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!

Man AVI the best in the game. Hooked up my 6 12” subs like a professional. Other shop used cheap wires and almost caught my car on fire. These boys swapped the cheap wires out with full copper 0 Guage and got me rite. 5 star service to these guys at luminex!!

When I arrived at 2;15PM, I was told that my car would be ready in two hours. I left and can’t back three hours later. The guy told me it would be ready in an hour. I waited an hour Than as they closed the shop. They told me there was only one tinter that day so to give him about one more hour. At this point, it is 8:00PM and I am completely frustrated. Nobody there seemed to care either. The tinter was the only one left in the building. He was probably the only nice and respectable person I encountered there. Eventually at 8:45PM, my car was ready. 6 and a half hours later....

I’ve resided in Atl for 20+yrs and as many Kustom(not custom) Shops I’ve been to, none can compare to Luminex and my guy “Av”. Customer service/work is beyond Five Star’s 🌟 no matter the issue/project big or small he(his team) will definitely take it on and make it a A1 success. And for that I will be “scratch that” I am a Customer for life.

They are unbelievably slow. If you value your time find some place else to go. My son had an 11:00 appointment, they did not start on his vehicle until after 5:00. If we hadnt purchased a groupon, I would have told him to leave. The tint looks fine but, when time is a commodity you come out better paying more.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The staff.... ALL OF THEM ARE SUPER NICE!! AVI IS the best!!!! I had problems with my radio and he replaced it with absolutely no problems upgrade and all. Ive seen other cars coming in to get a major makeover and when I tell you they put their Azz into it! I definitely recommend!!!

I just got my tail lights tinted on my is250 by Nick and he killed it. He was super cool and did an amazing job and the customer experience all around was great. I went in and came out with exactly what I wanted. This isn’t the first time I’ve been to Luminex I had also gotten my windows tinted here about 3 years ago and the tints are still in perfect condition. I would highly recommend anyone to visit their shop and get connected with the people here.

They did a nice job on my rims and replaced my hid light. The bad business comes in when I brought my car in with all my lug nuts and valve stem caps and left out missing a lug nut. Keep getting the run around about something that cost $20. For that simple fact I would call that bad business no recommendation from me.

They don’t follow time. They like to keep us waited. If they say 2 hours for tint. Assume it will get it done in 5-6 hrs. I’ve waited 5 hours for tint to be done. This didn’t happen just with me. There are like 4-6 members waiting for the work to be done.To management: come on guys. Be professional.

The tint is fine. I give it two stars because it took over 3 hrs, the waiting area was hot, and there was no toilet paper or paper towels in the restroom. There was also a water cooler but there was no cups. It doesnt take much to check these things before you open at 10 am.

I chose Luminex to get my break calipers painted and to get my windows tinted because of the most recent reviews I read. I was a little worried about the time I might be spending there but I was pleasantly surprised during my appointment. I was scheduled for 10:30am and they started on my car as soon as I arrived. Nick and Saif provided excellent service and made sure my car was done on time. I was out of there within three hours and my car looks amazing. Highly recommend!

Great work and done quickly. I was told it would take 2 hours to tint 5 windows, which was a Groupon that I had purchased to apply to my wifes new car. They had my car done in just under 1.5 hours. Very professional and friendly. Im going to take my car to get the windows tinted as well and would highly recommend them to others.

Luminex Lighting should have their business license revoked for offering services they apparently know nothing about. Their ability to do simple HID or LED headlight installations, ballast replacements, and proper reassembly of vehicles shows a lack of basic knowledge that one might think should be essential to a shop claiming to SPECIALIZE in automobile lighting. My 2007 Lexus IS250 was returned to me in such poor and visibly damaged condition having it from 11 a.m. till 6 p.m. with ATLEAST 2-3 thousand dollars is what Ive been quoted to repair the damage luminex lighting technicians took upon themselves to cut big pieces off of my undercarriage protection thus leaving exposed wiring to the entire headlight bulb and fog light bulb assembly therefore the bulbs are exposed to water any time it rains thus causing my bulbs to malfunction and making my vehicle unsafe to drive at night and my headlights are completely out of balance . UNACCEPTABLE, CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT PLEASE TRUST WHAT IM SAYING .

Ive been a loyal customer to Luminex Lighting for about 2-3 years. I had a 1 year warranty with you guys on headlights to get them replaced. The first time I came they looked it up the the computer to find the information. Today I came and they told me that I need a receipt in order to claim my warranty saying We have a new policy. This is very unprofessional you can send out a text to customers who currently had a warranty with the old policy so we could know. I drove a hour thinking this yet had my time wasted. Not only was it a waste if time but the store manager did not even apologise for his mistake. To anyone reading this keep your receipts from this place because the manager cannot tell others to do so.

False advertising, they do not honor the price listed in their ad. When brought to their attention they claim someone put the wrong price on their ads. A waste of time they only lure you in hoping that you just settle with their bait and switch scam.

Ridiculously slow. Extremely poor customer service. I had set an appointment to have my windows tinted. Not only did I wait 3 and a half hours for the work, they didnt even tint all the windows! They pulled my truck out and parked it as if they were done.I alerted the person running the front desk, he seemed not to care that his employees didnt finish the job, and he rudely told me that it would be another several hours before they could actually finish the job I had scheduled to have done, or I could come back at a later date to finish. I didnt realize it took 2 visits to finish a tint job that normally takes an hour and a half. To add insult to injury,there were others who had been waiting for service long before me. He was extremely rude to them as well. Long story short, complete waste of time and money. I will NEVER shop there again! Do not waste your money here!

I supposedly scheduled an appointment at 12. I was informed that tinting the windows for my car would only take an 1hr. I didnt leave until 4 pm. Ive noticed bubbles and scratches already but Ill give it 1 week to cure before I take it back for a redo or removal.Next time Ill go with TKS off memorial drive in Stone Mountain.

Fixed my EXTREME bubbling tint & set me up with LED headlights. Couldnt have asked for speedier/friendly/fair service. You guys are the best!Nailed the BFs G37 S headlight mods too! Okay - so worksmanship and value are good. Better price than anyone else for ceramic by $100. Groupon saved another $50. waiting though - inaccurate wait time frame given to customers. All waiting here longer than expected with a few apparent VIPs that get in and out while we wait. Previous comments on facilities correct. No toilet paper. No soap. No hand towels. No cups for water. One plus - the do have hand sanitizer. Just another 45 min.....3 hours later....Best if u can drop your car off. Wouldnt recommend for waiting appointment.
