Defiantly a customer!! receipt added for proof. Very unprofessional. They fixed my brakes when I really needed a break booster. I was charged 1500 for a tune up for my car to come back leaking oil, which it wasn’t beforehand. The mechanic called me “broke” because I questioned him on why I’ve had to bring my car up there three times and each time it comes back worse. Then threatened me saying “ I don’t want to inherit any new problems.” Very unprofessional, dishonest, and deceitful. I would take my car somewhere else before taking it here. They claim once you fix a car other problems emerge. These are swindlers. The old owner was nice though, it’s sad to see the business deteriorate. I attached how my car came back after a fresh 1500 tune up. Don’t waste your time with these people.

I will give a honest review, they seem incompetent. I had to waste precious vacation days just to not have my car fixed. Really put me behind and Ive been disappointed. No one there was rude and were very honest so that is the plus. No longer will bring my car there.

If i could give these young men 10 stars, i would, i dont know about anybody else but they did great by me. Great service! My car was down. They towed my car to the shop, found a bunch of stuff wrong with it and had done that same night. I was able to make it to work the next day with no problems. The mechanic actually stayed past closing time just to make sure it got finished. I would definitely recommend this place.

Best place around town. I came up to Michigan from out of town for a memorial and needed some work done with my tire. They got my vehicle in quick, and got it back to me even quicker. Highly recommend to everyone.

They did great work on my Pontiac a few months ago they replaced my cv shaft, I just recently got all breaks and rotors changed as well as my calipers and a few others things. Mike was super professional and got my car up and driving like a dream.

My brakes are fixed! The drums and brake shoes were replaced and new hardware was installed in my 2003 Ford Taurus. The price was very affordable and the service was great! My car was leaking oil and coolant. I got my valve cover, gaskets, spark plugs and oil change done here! The prices were incredible! They made me feel welcome and In good hands. My car drives like a dream! Probably better than it has since I purchased it!

Been using this place since we moved here but think they must be under new management, On Thursday we spoke to and filled out paperwork to set it up to be dropped off Friday night to be repaired Saturday by 3pm. Showed up at 2 and was told (same guy we had spoke to Thursday) he never told us that and he had called this morning to figure out why the car was left that was a lie and if we never spoke to us where did he get the number? so yeah just lied to. Very bad customer service, to loyal customers who have referred many people to them, I will find another place in the future and let frds and family know the quality of service has changed. Sad we wanted to support local shop.

Got my car towed directly from my house earlier this week. Tried several other shops in the area and this was the only shop that would charge free towing as well as look at my car regarding the electrical work. This is the most honest and reliable auto repair shop I have ever dealt with. Call them if you ever need auto repair.

We dropped off our 2006 Ford f150 to get a replacement motor put in on October 15 2020.,(we did not supply the motor). Adam the manager quoted me 2500 total and they would supply the motor. I was told to leave a 1000 deposit and pay the remaining 1500 in 5 days when the vehicle was finished.I am writing this post on December 20th 2020. They still have my truck and now have added an additional 1500 in damaged and they want me to pay for it.I have been layed off since March because of covid and have 3 children and household we are trying to keep together.We used this shop because of the ratings they had and the previous reviews.  However our experience was anything but! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!they are under new management and are not like the old people! Be aware!

Took my car in for an AC problem before a holiday. Its probably not something they normally do, but they worked late to make sure that my car (and others) were done for people for the holiday weekend. I was very impressed with the level of service and their prices were fair. I highly recommend them and they will be the place I take my cars to going forward.

Did my tune up on my 12 fusion and got rid of my check engine light. vehicle running smoother than ever. Very happy with Mark He requested i do the complete tune up with throttle body cleaning and gave me a great deal.

This place is seriously amazing!!! My car has given me so much grief the past few months, that It’s a relief to have it running smoothly. Another local repair shop wanted to charge me a fortune to fix my breaking issue, while also insisting I needed to fix things that WERE NOT ACTUALLY NEEDED! The best part (and reason for me even writing a review) is I stressed the urgency of getting my car back tonight to the owner, and I could not believe that he personally stayed late to see the job was done. In this screwed up world, it feels really good to see there are still people who care.

No this is not a spam review, you guys kept my car for 4 days and the only thing you did was leave the lights on and drain the battery and leave the car doors unlocked.. you guys told me you couldnt get it started I had to come get my car back from you because you left the headlights on and drained the battery.

Im sorry, but this place was so bad I had to leave a 2nd Reveiw! They had my little car for over a week and kept lying to me saying that it was almost done, almost done. Meanwhile they never even touched the car! They do NOT RESPECT their customers. They are really some pathological LIARS. It is almost scary. I dont know how they expect to stay in business abusing customer patience.

Very bad experience with this place. They had my truck two days for a ball joint repair. I specifically asked before I brought it up there if it could be done that day since I had work the following day and she told me yes. They never gave me a courtesy call to let me know its taking longer than usual, nothing. I called and they never answered. I found a ride up there after they had it two days and they still never touched my truck yet. I said I was going to take it and they said it was taken apart but not fixed yet. If I wanted to take it before it was fixed I had to pay $200. Absolutely unprofessional place that wouldnt just tell me the truth and say they dont have the time to fix it that day or the next. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!

My chevy cobalt wasnt going into reverse, they diagnosed it in under a hour and told me it was the transmission, They quoted me for a 0mile Rebuilt Trans $2800 and got the job done in under a week. Honestly couldnt be happier. Thank you so much Riverside.

We had Extremely cold weather and our battery died. This shop towed us in, tested our alternator system, and had us repaired fast. I am the girl who had the Jeep Liberty that the place down the road from you said I needed a motor. Thank you for doing the necessary compression test to show me it was a $25 cool pack. We needed a break because we have been taken advantage of in this area for our repairs. We started traveling to Oakland county and now we met you guys through city towing. 👍👍👍

I don’t write a a lot of reviews but felt I should call out the good service I got from Riverside. I brought my vehicle here after a friend recommended them – he said they did some work on his Range Rover. I just dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon. I met Brian and he quickly gave me a quote on my service work. Brakes needed replacing all-around. He got me a quote faster than the dealer on the phone. I asked him if I came back the next day if he could do all of the work in a couple of hours and he said yes. Shocked – I said I would be back tomorrow. I have owned this car since new and it has always been to the dealer for service, so I was worried about going to an independent shop for what I believe is a rather complicated vehicle (BMW X5). Brian and Mike(?) took it on and did a great job – quick and for a good price. I am very happy and will be back. I also had them change the oil and filter, quick clean. I will be back – this was hassle free and these guys knew what they were doing.

After getting completely burned by the dealership, I stopped here for advice on my way home. These guys are incredible. Priced very reasonably, and work was done 35 minutes after I pulled up, in and out. I’ll be back! Best auto experience with a local shop I’ve ever encountered.

Had truck there for tail light issue for 3 days. They were paid IN FULL. Would not fix problem. Gave us stall tactics, excuses, never gave us phone calls- had to show up in person all the time to try to get anywhere. Their phone person lied about the name it the manager. They stole the receipt/work order out of the truck. When I demanded a refund, owner, Mike, got belligerent, abusive and told me to get the f out, that I was trespassing. He refused to give me the key back to my OWN TRUCK!!! Had a spare key to drive it home. Called the cops on them the next morning to try to get my key back. They got nowhere.Bunch of rip-off gangsters. Wish I could give them a zero rating. Run from this messed up place!! No joke.

First time doing business with Brian and his team. Brian was very responsive and courteous over the phone and in person. Came in to have a new exhaust system installed. Team was professional and got the job done quickly. Later on when I took a look under the car for myself, noticed that part of the styrofoam packaging was still wrapped around one of the new pipes. Removed it no problem but it was a small miss on the teams part. Overall, would definitely do business here again because of Brians positive, professional attitude. It is clear that he cares about his work, and its nice to work with a person instead of a big business.

I was broke down in the freezing cold weather w my newborn in the car. The manager sent a shuttle to pick us up off of the freeway while the tow truck was on the way to help. Definitely would not believe anything stated over the phone with this company. When they get busy, things are a bit chaotic. Waited over 6hrs for service and never even got a courtesy call. Was promised several times my vehicle would be serviced, finally realizing after they closed that my issues were ignored and not taken seriously. They seem genuine but beware.

I went to this establishment today because of the great reviews that was posted on the site and I live right off Dartmouth. When I arrived the young man that was working by himself was on the phone. I politely sat in the chair and waited for him to get finished with his call. At this point I had been there about 15 minutes this was like 5:00 pm. As I was waiting a young man came in and rudely stood at the counter. When the young man got off the phone he immediately asked the young man if he could help him. I looked around thinking this must be a joke or the guy works here. The young man that came in after me started talking about a quote someone gave him at that point I figured he didnt work there after all. I sat there thinking any minute the worker would acknowledge me. He didnt. They walked out of the shop and headed to the guys car. I walked to my car thinking WOW. As I was getting in my car he says can I help you with something really, really, as if I would spend my money there. Then he says he thought we were together, let me state this to the people that go off reviews like I do. Im a African American female and the guy that got all the attention was Caucasian. My money is green or multi color and will spend anywhere, but not at this establishment. I would drive out of the way than be treated like Im a nobody.

My go to mechanics. They are honest, reliable, and reasonable. Brian and Lenny are extremely courteous and detailed. However they are usually very busy, so be prepared to wait. Brought my car in multiple times for different services. My first time was getting the timing belt and water pump replaced. I received a quote lower than the dealer, got a ride to work, and got my car back the next day. The next service was for struts and axles I was quoted a fair price and received my car back the same day. Overall highly recommending lower prices than dealers and superior service. A+

My experience at Riverside Auto Care in Lincoln Park was very positive. My car needed a major repair and when I would call to check on the progress of my car Jason kept me updated and I was never given the run around. I am very pleased with the work done on my car and my car runs great. The staff is professional and friendly. Beware!Back in September/ October of 2018, I chose to have my trans mounts changed here. Before getting the work done, I was told that the motor mounts needed changing as well. I was given a price of around $600.00 to do both. I decided to do just the trans mounts and was warned about how dangerous it could be.Since then, I have had my car at another shop. I was told my motor mounts did not need to be replaced.I have had good work done at this place in the past.Very disappointed in the skinny man behind the counter who tried to sell me on having the motor mounts fixed.-Dwayne

Got back from vacation, flew into Detroit international, and my van ignition was acting up due to a heavy rain storm. Googled auto repair and riverside was 1st on the list with good reviews so gave them a call. He arranged to have it towed to their shop and said he could have me back on the road the next day. They were able to figure out the problem, order parts and have it fixed all the next day, and also arranged a rental vehicle for the day so we did not have to wait around at the shop all day. They went above and beyond in helping us out and the price was very reasonable as well.

To be 100 that was never a team a team needs a captain i hope you pull one together an make a hell of a come back keep it 5 star!!!

Came in early as soon as they open. Brian and Lenny was there to welcome me with a smile and installed my replacement catalyst converter. The mechanic Lenny is very knowledgeable and installed my converter in time for me to leave out to my sons Championship basketball game. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here. I have a Town and Country... very expensive vehicle... i will not let anyone play around that doesnt know what they are doing. Welds are done correctly and strong on my muffler line. Not sure what that last review was all about. Im having no issues with my work. I have provided proof of the weld and work done.

Run run run... They asked me what was wrong with my car, i told them. They said to me $50 to look at it and called me back 2 minutes later and told me they wont work on my car because of problems they had with a car like mines and still charged me $35.

So the staff is very friendly. But i brought in my car because my transmission was going out. Took it here to have it looked. This bald guy comes back 5 minutes later. Oh your trans is bad needs replaced. So i held off on the repair took it to a trans shop guy says its a simple trans fix $325 out the door. I recommend always getting a second opinion before going to Riverside Auto. Saved alot of money going else where. So a fraudulent review? I got the receipt of the estimate your company gave me.

Try the 100 days same as cash easy financing. If you have a checking account and income you will get appproved pretty fast. Once that process is over my experience was thsy my brakes were done all around in 2 hours and I am a happy customer.Thank you Hunter!

The employees were friendly enough, the ratings were high, and the shop was convenient. I went in for a routine fix of my exhaust. Not only did it last about a week. When I took it back, yes they fixed it for free, as they should have, but it still didnt work after about 2 weeks my exhaust was loud and smelly again. I took my car to another shop in town and it was cheaper and longer lasting. Just saying but I wasted my time going here since they couldnt even fix an easy flex pipe. not once, but twice. Pretty standard service. The new shop even said they did some wonky welding so it is easy to say I will not go back there for my exhaust problems. Oh and the first time I stopped it the front office reeked so horribly of cigarettes I could barely stand it. Word to the wise, theres a reason its illegal in most states to smoke indoors.

They had my car done within 24 hours. Great price, very friendly and even offered a payment plan. My car is now as quiet as a mouse. A 2000 Nissan but now drives like a new car off the lot. Defitely recommended!

Took my 2000 firebird to riverside auto for a safety inspection. The following day I got the call with a LONG list of things that needed to be fixed. I was given my quote for ALL repairs and decided to call another shop that was near to see what they would quote me. The quote was 2000 dollars different!!!
