The employees are very helpful and know what theyre doing; however, there are never enough of them available to help everyone; there are 2 or 3, and one is busy as cashier, and the other 1 or 2 are busy cutting out fabric for customers, and each of them always has long lines of people waiting for their turn to pay or get fabric cut. this leaves nobody available to help customers get something from high shelves or locate something we cant find. for such a big store with a lot of traffic, there should be more people on staff so employees are not overwhelmed and so there are ppl to help customers who need help finding things.

The girl cutting my fabric had to make sure she wasnt giving me a fraction of an inch over!! It took her forever. I imagine i didnt get a much as I paid for

I love the selection and when things are on sale the prices are great. I wish they would train the young folks that work there on more because their lack of experience is frustrating when looking for something specific. I have had a few issues with the checker not wanting to use my coupons or putting in my membership ID which is really important for the amount of money in which I spend there. The older employees have always been such a pleasure to deal with!!

For a craft store in Lincoln, not a bad place. It usually has what you want. Not my favorite place, but its a shorter drive than heading to Omaha to Mangelsons (which imo is the best craft shop around)

I was just planning to pass a LITTLE time on my way somewhere else...I swear! 🤣🤣But then I found the great prices on...EVERYTHING!!! VERY nicely organized, and so much great craft stuff to choose from! Friendly staff too.

Picked up thread for a project, staff were friendly and checkouts quick. Threads were clearly labelled and sorted, faced stock was good.

Nice place to buy craft supplies, sewing, knitting, etc supplies. Very nice fabrics! Some classes are offered. Good sales and discounts. Very nice employees that will take time for you.

Great. An inspiration to anybody who has a single interest, or multiple interests in anything artistic! Love it! Kind-of pricey, but they have great sales, and easy return policy. Inevitably a fun store to take your kids, or go to alone... and spend hours walking through!💕

Prices are crazy high and they dont do a great job of opening more registers when the line is extremely long.

Typically good deals, the aisles seem a little thin and dont allow 2 carts down them which is a hassle.Visited them during their doorbuster sale that was a 1 day sale 11/4/18 and there was almost nothing on the shelves. The shelves had the planogram papers on them like they were still being set up by employees and left maybe 20% done. Little hard to shop stuff that isnt on shelves, one day sale and no product for customers...Im impressed.

Helpful staff at materials cutting station, but only 1 person to check out customers. Stood 8th in line watching 2 little girls in front of me touch everything sight, Not enough room for 6ft social distancing with a line that long! Havent been here since they moved, wont plan to return. Gal at check out was very pleasant, so manager is lucky to have a great staff!

I love the regular sales and competitive prices. I do not like how they send you a 50% off coupon that excludes a certain item, that is not mentioned on the coupon. Staff is friendly and helpful!

Good selection of products. Prices are pretty consistent with that if other craft stores. The Disney selection of fabrics is super fun. If you download the app you can usually score really nice coupons. If you do get something from here, do it in person. I waited 10 days for an online order to be filled. Michaels can fulfill online orders in a few hours.

It is always fun walking around and looking at all the craft items. However, we always feel like the staff is rude and unfriendly. Staff may need some extra customer service training.

On my last visit the employees were rude and unfriendly. After asking if there was any more of a specific fabric I had in my hand I was told to go look for it myself. The lady at the cutting station hardly spoke to me at all and was getting upset because I was trying to make sure it was even before she cut it. The check out lady obviously didnt know what she was doing. If it wasnt for the fact that I drove 5 hours to shop at a JoAnns I would have left my stuff there and walked out. I will definitely not be going back to the Lincoln store again!

JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts is fun to visit and they have quite a bit of sewing and crafting items. They are a little more pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for and they do have sales on a regular basis along with coupons. I really like their selection of items and most of the time can find what Im looking for. They have good magazine and book sections. I bought several how-to books and some stamping magazines. Fun place to go!

Good scrapbook selection. Nice to see more of the bigger named designers merchandise being sold here. Good selection of kids toys and art supplies too.

Every time I go In There I find something new and I spend too much money. Tge employees there at least the ones that I have worked with are very friendly. They also have a Military Discount witch is also nice

The bathroom was disgusting. Shelves were very picked over.

They always have good prices and the employees are helpful. At my last visit, after checking out, they let each customer choose one free item from a stack of leftover Easter items. I thought that was an awesome little bonus. The checkout gal said they do that quite a bit.

4 people standing in checkout line, customers were turned down so she could go on her 15 minute break leavin one cashier. Couldnt even use the first 5 seconds of her break to move carts out of exit door. Will not go back. First and last time there

I called here and the first time they didnt answer, second time they answered i asked if they had a mould and deckle so i could make paper that had been recycleed. They said I have no idea what that is so im going to transfer you and then i was on hold for 2 minutes and they hung up. plus the whole time there was a crackling noise even when i called both times making it difficult to hear anything.

I am so in love with this store! They were the only place in this city that had the color of yarn I wanted.

JOANNS has always been a preferred sewing/craft store. However, during my last visit, the selection of cotton fabric was almost nonexistent. I realize that many are making masks, but it seems that we have been dealing with the covid dilemma for an amount of time sufficient to provide the store with ways of stocking items more efficiently.

Fantastic place for all your needs. I do wish they had more help. I have left and went somewhere else because I couldnt get any help. When you do get help its very good. The classes Ive taken I have to say needed better instructors. I had to show my instructor how to run the sewing machine and how to do a couple pretty basic things.

I picked a bad day to go there, lol. That being said they were very friendly and helpful.

They had a good selection. I did a custom order of a few spools of ribbon in mid February for decorations for my wedding. I paid ahead of time and was told they should arrive in a week. I didnt receive them for a month. And in that month I didnt receive a single call from them. I had to call them ever week to see if they showed up. Finally they just had to get them shipped from a different store because of an inventory problem. I am VERY happy I am not a procrastinator. Because only half of my decorations wouldve been done for my wedding. Ordering I would rank one star. I dont recommend it. The selection from their shelf though is good. So that I would give a four star. Im going with 3 overall because when I would talk to the employees they were always nice!

The purpose of business is to offer a service to the public that they may not be able to help themselves with. We the consuming public relations of these businesses to make daily life just a little better. Joann Fabrics on 66th at in Lincoln Nebraska is not one of these businesses. Their staff is evidence of that. It is my opinion that, as stated in a review above, more training is needed.

I absolutely love this place! I get many of my fabrics, sewing materials, and craft stuff here and they always have great deals going on. Almost every time I go, I can use a coupon which is a great bonus to their already good prices.

Joann usually has great deals and a variety of crafting stuff.

The only craft store in Lincoln I shop. Have everything I need under one roof.

My favorite place to go for anything remotely crafty! They always have great coupons. Beautiful material and gorgeous yarns! Wonderful surprises around every corner. The place to go in Lincoln for anything for do -it- yourself projects.

Looking for upholstery fabric. They have fabric arranged by designer. Upholstery mixed in with Med and light weight decor fabrics. Should be arranged by purpose and then by color within that. Have to tag check everything you look at for usage. Looking by price and clerk told me about online coupon option for all regular price items so that was helpful.

So many fabric choices, plus other unique craft items. You can catch a great deal with their in store sales. Load the app and you can receive additional discounts.

Im handicapped and appreciate the electric cart they have. The problem is they have so much stuff everywhere its impossible to ma nuver it around without knocking something over or having to back clear out of the isle. Also the aisles are really too narrow that if some one else is shopping you cant get around them.

Always has things on sale! But the downside of that it makes it hard to find a regular priced item to receive their 50 or 40% discount coupon

Always a fun place to be! This time I was getting some fleece to make some tie blankets and the manager was helping cut fabric and she asked about my project. So I told her and she recommended not using that particular fleece because it would shed everywhere! So thankful!

This place makes me sleepy. Its like Hobby Lobby but covered in blankets.

Went in for a project and found nearly everything I needed. Remnants, embroidery floss, and beading. Great variety of selections of everything. Also picked up a St Patricks day decoration for next year at 75% off. Bonus!

I agree with the comment on poor customer service. Last night my family and I had gone in to purchase materials from the fabric section. I pulled 2 patterns off of the 50% rack and took them over to be cut. The lady behind the counter told me the amount, which was not 50% off. I asked why and she gruff told me that it was the wrong type of fabric and that the fabric that I chose was not on sale. I walked over to the display and looked again to be sure. At this time, the other lady working in the department followed me. I looked at the display and stated, Maybe, this could be arranged differently, as it is misleading to the customer. She curtly responded, Not if you know how to read signs! This really took me by surprise, as I was not being rude to her at all. As I walked away from her, the other one behind the counter says, Are you going to buy this or what? I shook my head and told them both No thanks, Ill go somewhere else. I then asked to speak to the manager, who looked a bit annoyed that I was asking for her. I will say that she did the obligatory Sorry about that, and I will talk to them but never asked me about what happened. After leaving the store, another woman approached me in the parking lot and asked me if I was talking to the manager about the 2 women in the fabric department. I stated, yes, to which she told me how she and her daughter had been treated poorly by them too. This happened on 1/20/18 at 7pm. If anyone in upper management reads this, I truly hope that you follow up. For any customers out there, I would advise that you avoid Joanns on 66th and O street, Lincoln, Ne in the evening for certain, unless you are fond of being treated with disrespect.

Lots of variety! You can find all kinds of fabrics, buttons, zippers, crafts, and more. Just make sure you know exactly how much fabric you want beforehand, and have your coupons ready. :) Thatll save you a pretty penny!

I love the fake fur selection. I recommend it to the whole of the furry culture. It also has a great selection of googly eyes for all your political sign needs.

My wife likes this place, me, not so much. However, as long as I had to hang out there was some cool stuff to look at. The staff was friendly enough and the store was well organized. There was a lot of stuff there if you like crafts.

Love the variety but the employees are lazy and won’t help if it’s in the back room. They also don’t stock certains areas very often which is frustrating. Edit: went to the Omaha store because they stock their store on time. Got what I needed but wasted two hours driving there.

Ordered online for in store pick up before the 5 PM cut off for same day availability- went in the following evening to pick up more than 24hrs after order was placed and they still had not got to it and said it would be at least another hour. The product was in stock they just didnt bother to get it ready- it is for a party and needs to be prepped before hand now it will be hard to get it done because I wont be able to get it till tomorrow ( 2 days after it should have been ready)
