Dantelas was fantastic to work with for my wedding dress! Their selection is beautiful and fit my classic style. The showroom is clean and intimate, and they are very helpful and patient to find the dress that suits you. Pickup process went smoothly, as they called to set up an appointment.Important to note to come in about 6 months before your wedding to choose your dress to avoid timing stress! The dresses are custom made overseas and take a few months to arrive. You will want to pickup your dress with time for alterations.

One of the best wedding dress shops I’ve been to while dress hunting.These women made me feel so comfortable and truly listen to what I wanted, and they strived for the best. They did not make me feel guilty or try to brush off what I wanted. They listened and they helped me find my perfect dress!Their shop has tons of beautiful styles and brands of dresses. They are both knowledgeable about the dresses, the types of laces, etc. so they know exactly what they are talking about.I said yes to the dress from here a couple months back and wouldn’t have it any other way.THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!

My wedding dress shopping experience was beyond what I imagined at Daniela! Lumi did an amazing job in finding what I was looking for. After analyzing which types of fabrics and styles I liked, we chose 5 to try on. I found my dress on the third try! I recommend Dantela for their patience, kindness, and expertise. I had a wonderful experience at Dantela and am happy to say I found the one! It was the first shop I went to and am so happy I did! I didn’t realize it until after but they opened the store up early for me to fit in my appointment and both sisters were so attentive to finding what I really liked. I knew to go in with an open mind about different styles but still thought it was crazy to walk away with a dress style I thought I would never get as Lumi seemed to figure out my style before I did myself! I highly recommend this store for the wonderful customer service and the quality and beautiful selections it has to offer.

I absolutely recommend this place future brides! The service was amazing, the sisters are very attentive and understanding. They got it right on the first dress! I did try on other dresses but the first one “WOWED” me the most and I was able to say yes to the dress! Though it was over my budget it’s so worth it. I loved everything about Dantela Bridal!

The sister owners of this store are absolutely amazing- we went to four stores before this that I narrowed down from a list of 30 and they were all garbage compared to this place! First of all, they have the best selection of European dresses that flatter the female figure properly and are made with quality, plus fair prices. Secondly their customer service is just mind blowing- they felt like my aunties showing me what they liked and stayed extra AND opened the store just for us on their day off because my mom flew in from out of town- I cannot say enough of how amazing these ladies are- wish I could invite them to our wedding, would totally come over just for tea, can’t wait to wear my dress (which I got off the rack). I had an amazing experience going wedding dress shopping! I knew I loved the Pronovias brand, and they were one of the few stores in Chicago who carried it. While I came in, fully not expecting to buy a gown that day, they helped me find my dream dress and I purchased it that day! Not only that, I felt no pressure from them to buy; it was simply the right dress. They helped me style it and picked out the PERFECT veil as well. The selection of dresses is beautiful and they also aim to stick to your budget, which is always appreciated! 10/10 recommend!

I had the most special experience with Lumi and her sister- they make you feel like family.They ordered my dream dress after we tried on 7-8 more options and I had come from 4 other stores of searching.Most importantly, two things:1. They have seamstresses they stand behind and love, which can absolutely make or break the end product!2. Their sample sizes are for NORMAL BODIES- having come from places with dress sizes/dress lines that couldn’t even get on my size 10 self, it was a relief to actually have dresses to try. My fiancé and I were running errands for our upcoming wedding. I heard of this boutique before and decided to stop in to look for hair accessories. When we arrived a women came to the door with an unpleasant greeting. She expressed that we couldn’t enter or look at the accessories because she was with another client. I expressed that I didn’t need assistance viewing the accessories, but she still did not allow us to enter. Very disappointed.

As soon as I started looking at their Instagram photos, I knew I had to go! They have the most UNIQUE gowns at a fair price point. They were so helpful in helping find dresses that fit my style. I got my custom dress at Dantela and the designer was Tina Valerdi. Her work is absolutely amazing and we were able to create my vision based off one of her collections. Dantela was so supportive and helped me create the most stunning dress I could ever wear. Everyone commented how beautiful it was and we were even being photographed throughout Miami from strangers on the street. I never wanted to take it off and hope one day I may wear it again to celebrate our marriage and our wedding day :)

Hello. I was a stressed out bride in search of a dress but not local to Chicago. This store (Anca) took pictures, placed the gown on a mannequin and provided details for my dress in a size closer to what I needed and said they would be willing to ship it to my home so I would not have to make a 7 hour plus drive. I felt this was very kind as they went out of my way to help me. I ended up finding a smaller dress even closer to my size at the flagship designer store in NYC but I feel compelled to write this review to let brides know that I felt even in this virtual world they were very willing to help me. Good luck finding your dream dress.

We didnt find the dress as we wanted because they didnt have the size. Nonetheless, the ladies that tended to us were very nice. It is a good place to get a bridal dress.

Dantela is definitely worth a visit! Anca and Lumi were exceptional. This was the first place I visited for dresses and I thought I was going in just to browse, but Anca and Lumi found the perfect dress for me! It was love at first sight and I had no problem committing to it! They were patient, non-judgmental, and respectful of my budget. At some point in the search, I felt like the image of the dress in my head was blurred and I could not explain exactly what I wanted. I felt defeated. Anca and Lumi, however, learned my style quickly and pulled out an amazing dress that blew me away before it was even buttoned. Trust their process! They know what theyre doing! This store is incredible! Lumi knew exactly what I was looking for based on a few minutes of conversation and pulled the dresses for me. I found that to be nicer than having to pick them out on my own. I ended up getting my dress here, and the owners went above and beyond to help me envision my gown in a different color than the sample. They were so friendly and honest, without pressuring me at all. And so fun to work with! I highly recommend.

If i could give more stars, I would. I did not expect to find a wedding dress so soon as my wedding isnt until Oct 2020. The owners were beyond welcoming and accommodating. I love that I never felt the pressure of them trying to make a sale. They are very knowledgeable of their dresses and were able to find me a dress I wouldve never thought to try on, but so happy I did as it turned out to be THE one. After saying yes to my dream dress, they provided us with champagne to toast to the occasion. They were nice enough to make my goddaughter feel included by providing her with her own water filled flute. So happy I stumbled upon this salon, I will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Although I didnt get my dress here, the experience was phenomenal. Both owners, sisters, were a delight to work with. My sister in law is Romanian, so they immediately embraced her like family when we arrived. The Pronovias selection is amazing, and both of them made me feel like a model. If it wasnt for another boutique where I had my eye on the dress I ended up with, Im sure I would have found my dress here. I highly recommend coming here and wish the owners the best of luck!

The ladies at Dantela are really great to work with! I came in on a Saturday afternoon without an appointment and they stayed after closing hours to help me find a dress! I found a dress online that I fell absolutely in love with. This is one of 5 stores around the country that carries Tina Valerdi so we decided to make a trip down to Illinois from Wisconsin to try on her dresses. The specific dress I wanted is from the new 2019 collection so it isn’t in stores yet. Today was supposed to just be a “try on” dresses day since I had an appointment set up with my friends and family next week in Wisconsin. I absolutely fell in love with EVERY SINGLE DRESS I tried on today. I tried on a similar dress to the one I wanted and that’s when I knew I had found the one. The owners were AMAZING and so much fun. One of the best experiences ever and I felt so comfortable. They ended up ordering the dress I wanted and custom making it to my likings. I couldn’t have imagined this appointment going any better and I’m so glad I made the decision to make the trip.Oh and my mom ended up getting her dress here as well and got such a great deal on it.

Just amazing, I couldnt have asked for a better experience in finding a wedding dress. I thought I had found, the one then suddenly the day after I put my downpayment realized this wasnt it.
