Miguel refinished a160 year old small double sided frame of Lincoln and his family. The frame and it’s cover were in terrible shape but Miguel brought it and it’s tissue like cover back to life.he even was able to match. and restore it’s miniature latch. The job was excellent and the price very reasonable.

Miguel came out today to repair the broken chaise of our sectional, a few days earlier than scheduled because he had the time which worked out perfectly. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out the construction flaws and how he would not only fix but reinforce the structure to avoid future issues. I hired Heartwood Restoration (Miguel) to re size and refinish a dining room table. We loved the look of our existing table set but were unhappy with the size of it for our dining area and the finish. Miguel showed up on time and was very professional. I brought a very heavy wooden tray into Miguel with the handle broken off and I did not have the piece of the handle to give to him, this was my first visit to this wood repair/restoration shop so I was a little Leary. He had a wonderful personality and made me feel very welcomed from the minute I walked in the door.Needless to say he constructed up a new handle by eye (in looking at the other one that was still attached to the tray) and it looks better than the other original one that came with the tray!!!!Now Im wishing both handles would have broke off :).His workmanship is meticulous, perfect & very well done. You can tell he takes pride in his work.I give Heartwood Restorations 10 STARS even though the ratings are only 5 :) JOB WELL DONE!!!

Miguel repaired a white lacquered drop-front secretary desk that had ripped off its hinges. I had been told by another furniture repair place that it was too difficult to repair. Miguel assured me he could handle it - and he absolutely did! Since the piece was very large, he performed the work on-site at my house. Despite the work taking longer than he anticipated, he stuck to his original quote - plus he fixed other small things on the piece that he saw that we hadnt even discussed. Hes a perfectionist, takes his time and is the ultimate craftsman. Incredibly talented, professional and a pleasure to work with - I recommend him to everyone I can and have already hired him again for another project.
