I love coming here especially for my family’s Birthday cakes. It is delicious and quick for pickup. I work across the street at Emerest and I must say this is a bonus treat! Thank you Carvel for being the best.

There is a light skin employee who is probably in his early 20s. I asked him since I don’t really know about there Ice Cream and Menu. The employee was just bored and didn’t want to reply, during the time when making my Ice Cream, he just was slow when I asked him about what I should put on he was talking like he wanted to sleep, and didn’t want to reply to me. My thing is this if you work at a job, show your full Potential, not just go to work for the money, don’t be lazy at work, after all that’s what your payed to do. Anybody who is in charge of this place get new employees, and see the Charisma in them.

Horrible costumer service !! Never coming back!! The guy behind the counter did not want to make any shakes, because he was to LAZY to wash a blender.. while the other fellow employee was holding the door open for us, letting us know we needed to get out.. it was only 8:55pm there was still five minutes until closing.. that’s no way to run an establishment.

Ice cream from this place was the worst ice cream I’ve tried in my life. All flavors carry different names, but the same vanilla taste. 🤷‍♀️ It’s just like vanilla ice cream with different colors. Bubble ice cream has some tiny particles that bother in throat and make you cough, I couldn’t swallow without drinking water. Taste of carvel ice cream is not of fresh ice cream comparing to what I ate before in other countries. For all my 28 years of life I experience that bad ice cream for the first time. And I tried a lot.The stuff was okay. I didn’t have any issues, a young guy answered my question. They all seemed not too inviting though.

The worst service!! My ice cream melted before it even got to me. Avoid like the plague.

The place wasnt very appealing, the staff was helpful. The only issue had with the location was the lack of ice cream cakes very few, they had signs about their stock being short due to covid. I will adjust my ratings when I go back after covid.

I wanna start with it’s the carvel nearest to my home, so it’s convenient, but the worst customer service ever both times I came in young African American kid at the register has to be re-trained pls if I have to go there again I will have to say something. I said hi both time there no response. Leaving I said thanks no reply terrible linden is a great community let’s continue being it.

Had the most awful experience tonight at this place. On the door, there is a sign that says Cash only. Before ordering, we asked if they accepted $100 bills, the boy behind the counter stated no. We asked if they accepted $50 bills, he said no. The store closes at 9pm and we left just before 8:40 to drive to the ATM one block away to get $20s. We returned and were at the door at 8:50pm only to find the door locked. The boy behind the counter motioned with a cut throat motion indicating the store was closed. I stated to him its 8:50 and the store closes at 9pm. He continued the cut throat motion as he stood behind the counter, refusing to let us in to serve us. In times when businesses are struggling due to COVID, this place must be doing well, turning away a $60 order when the store was completely empty on a summer Saturday night. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Went in with my son and the employee was just staring at us very upset for absolutely no reason. Would never return to this horrible place!! Please replace your staff!!

Flavor of hard ice cream taste like old storage one. I will complaint about price and costumer service from Devon he should be working there if he is going to treat people with a nasty face and attitude I went there with a special request and easy one and he give me a attitude. Price is too much for only 2 scoops of hard ice cream you better go to a dairy queen that has same price and more ice cream and way better service I now the one in linden is close in winter season but there is one open all year long on north ave. Cranford the service is great there and ice cream doesnt taste like frige

Love carvel ice cream, but dude in the front looks like he’s miserable working at carvel gave this place a weird vibe immediately as we walked in, looked annoyed and took long to attend us although there wasn’t anyone in line.

My fiancé and I have a tradition of having ice-cream every Sunday. Carvel is really close to our house but I have never really liked Carvel not until I went there 2 weeks ago. The problem is, I like premium ice-cream. The premium ice-cream parlour we usually go to was closed so we decided to settle for Carvel since I was really craving ice-cream. We walked into the store and I lowered my expectations because Carvel. However, the customer service the employee gave my fiancé I was out of this world. Maybe it is a psychological thing but I mean he made Carvel ice-cream taste better than other premium ice-cream we usually have. We thought it was just a one time occurrence until we visited again yesterday and he gave us the same amazing service. I can not remember his name but he is usually there on Sunday.

My husbands favorite to go, this place was very clean and the staff really care about their jobs

This is the first and last time i will come here the service sucks the attitudes is very disrespectful and disgusting!!!! All of the employees have attitudes towards every customer that came in there THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO RE TRAIN THEIR EMPLOYEES! I will not be returning here

Save your time and money, go else where . The 2 same young men are always there . They are rude, unwelcoming and snarky with their mouths . I have seen them talk back, argue and roll their eyes at customers. I have no idea how the 2 of them have worked here as long as they have . We wont be coming back to this carvel again .

6 pm on a Monday. Were not making boss shakes right now no explanation, the guy definitely just didnt feel like making it. Wont be back.

They dont know the difference between icecream and the slush they served me. Right after he gave me the cone which I paid extra for being dipped he had to give me a cup because the icecream was just falling off. When i mentioned that to him he said the ice cream was fine. Slow service. The employee didnt want to be there to work. The customer behind me walked out from waiting 10 minutes.
