Driving by and seeing this place from afar you wouldnt think of it being so good. I highly recommend this place. Breakfast was amazing. Try there fish and grits. You wont be disappointed.

My husband and I have been coming to White Rose Diner a few months. We are highly satisfied. The food is delicious, the diner is clean and customer service is Great. The home made burger, the grilled chicken sandwich, the breakfast all Good. We recommend anyone to come.

One of the ladies there yelled at me all because I asked if she could double check the bag to make sure extra bacon was put in. Refused to check the bag and embarrassed me in front of everyone that was there. Even if the food was good, I would never recommend them simply because they’re lacking in customer service skills which a lot of times can make or break a company. I heard very well what the lady said, but when a customer asks for you to double check something, you should agree with the request rather than raise your voice as that is what customer service is about. If you would have said it in a nicer tone or gave a suggestions or try to solve the problem, there would have been no issue. But there was no need for you to raise your voice and give attitude to someone speaking in a calm manner. That is why your place can never be recommended because it’s lacking in treating people with respect. One thing that should NEVER be done by employees of an establishment is raise their voice at a customer simply because they’re annoyed.

I ordered breakfast via Door Dash. I was really satisfied with the the overall experience. The food was made very quickly, fresh, full of flavor, and huge portion sizes. I ordered the Fire Pit Omelet with home fries. I tried to eat the entire platter, because it was that good, but couldn’t, because it was so much food. I know what I’m having for lunch. Lol Don’t let the trucker look fool you, this is better than most diners and breakfast spots around.

Girls behind the counter very nice . Cook was not wearing mask or gloves touching everything then touching food. Inside was looking dirty. Everything was super greasy as if the bacon and eggs n fresh toast was cooked in the same spot with bacon grease not good . I’ll try one more time just because the pancakes was very good

Best Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. Or get to order Taylor ham sausage bacon egg and cheese you wont go wrong. Get a side of home fries and your good.

Stopped here on a Saturday with my dad. First off Rich(the owner) and his wife are very lovely people. The Taylor ham egg and cheese with potato is one of the best in the area. The unsung hero of the meal was the homemade corn beef hash which was what I needed after a long night of drinking. I highly recommend.

I have been here several times. The owner, staff and customers are very nice. The burgers and fries are great. They remind me of when I was younger. Made exactly like I got when I was young. The prices are very reasonable. A place you have to stop by.

Aesthetically it’s a classic all American diner, built in the 1950s, brought to this location in the late 1960s. Looks like a movie set 😍such a pleasant staff, as friendly as could be and excellent service!!!

Incredible. Just outstanding. Go in and get yourself some of the best food on the planet. I had a breakfast and then got a lunch to go because breakfast was so good. The lunch was so good that I stopped mid burger to write this review.

I’ve been coming to this diner for years and it’s usually to get breakfast sandwiches. Today was a little different, I decided to order breakfast for everyone else and a burger for me. I was told to give them 15 mins which was fine because I had to drive there anyway. Once I got there I was told that my order wasn’t ready and that I had to give them a few more minutes. Once my order was ready I paid and went to work. Once I got to my job I noticed that my burger was still raw ( very pink) in the inside with ketchup and mayo plastered all over it. I then got in my car and went back. I took the burger out of the bag and told the owner/ cook that my burger wasn’t done. He looked at me with disgust. Before he would respond he looked at me and then asked what would I like him to do because he’s not making another one. I handed him the bag and walked out. Thanks for your service. I will no longer buy here nor will I make anymore trips for my coworkers as well.

I found White Rose diner to be a nice little traditional neighborhood diner. Its something that you would have seen in Jersey in every neighborhood back in the thirties.I arrived just shortly before the lunch hour and was surprised at the steady traffic in the diner. everybody seem to be from the neighborhood and sort of know each other in some fashion or another.I had a Taylor Ham plater. This was three slices of Taylor ham, eggs, home fries, and toast. It was good and reasonably priced.this place has been around a long time and you can tell by the interior. However, if youre looking for a slice of tradition New Jersey diners, I would check this out.

I went today for the first time and last time. Dirty restaurant. Food wasnt all that I had a burger. Disgusting I dont recommend this very dirty

Horrible, ceiling leaking on the table, juice was flat, bacon looked & tasted old. Pancakes were not fresh !!There were flies everywhere. Customer service was terrible. I asked for a new juice & it was disgusting. Asked for a soda it was flat. Then was told to never come back. You dont have to tell me twice. 🙄🤢🤢

Dirty place, quality of the meat is cheap, if the sun comes thru the window the right way you can watch Rich spray his spit all over the grill as he is flapping his lips.. dont waste your time, go to white rose system in Roselle instead, much better service and food, and btw they make a better taylor ham egg and cheese....

Dirty, greasy food. I agree with the last review they are very opinionated. I went in on my lunch break and left feeling frustrated and drained; with the racist views being openly offered. I hope they go out of business. I will never spend my money there. I tell people to steer clear. Also the food is not great. I can cook better in my own clean kitchen.

Very reasonably priced. I just could not get into being there because the place is very shabby. Breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, home friesand coffee just $7.50. But it was nothing special.

Cook has a rotten attitude. I work for uber eats and he yelled at me in front of everyone because as I was delivering an order on foot, my phone had died and I came back to return the order. He told me to never come back without a car and snatched the bag from my hand. Made me so angry. Never will be coming to this dump ever again.

The home fries was a home no no. Home fries are not supposed to be crispy dark brown with black onions. Horrible. The only reason why Im giving one star is because the sausage was good along with the toast.

I honestly dont know what happened to Rich, but in between the time I left for school (2 years ago) and now; something happened to where the guys become a complete douchebag, to both customers and anyone who walks within feet of the place. Before he was a charismatic, kind person, but now he pretends as if hes never seen your face the thousand of times that youve eaten and had personal conversations with him. Now the man ridiculous and judges people for the smallest, possibly tiniest things without showing any respect to the customers ideals and or even beliefs no matter how much you spend there. The food is a little worse and the place is still as dirty as it originally was; but dont believe that thats a true Jersey diners experience. Because it sure as hell isnt. And I honestly have no clue as to whether the change is because of business performance or the lowering of the food quality, but if theres anything myself or anyone else knows.. this place truly SUCKS now and its a shame to say that ill NEVER be eating here ever again.

Ive passed this place a few times but never stopped in, I stopped today for a quick bite but didnt know they were closing so I was greeted with immediate attitude. I ended up only ordering a coffee which was slammed on the counter and slid down spilling coffee. That guy is a miserable prick... you might be closing and you might be having a bad day but theres no excuse for any establishment to treat anyone with such attitude.

Im only giving this rating to be nice because my family and I use to go there all the time when we lived in the area. I was passing through and had a craving for a potato sandwich. Today the owner seemed to be focused on the ratings from the Uber driver that walked in the same time as me, which is something you shouldnt have to do if the quality of your food is good and your service is good. People will wait for it. The prices are very good, but my potatoes were luke warm, the roll wasnt warm so the cheese didnt melt, and they didnt cut it. I then asked for a coffee while checking out and they only had Milk, which I cant have. I asked for cream, which they didnt have, so I actually said I was sorry because I cant have the milk, but the lady taking orders and helping still seemed to be annoyed, no apologies from her for only having milk. Todays Experience Was Very Disappointing. Remember that Everyone matters when you have a Business.
