Very bad service, very rude owner. We placed an order and found much better alternatives and when asked to match they did not match the price, we even offer bit high price than alternatives but they did not listen and just took our deposit money. The owner is very rude and very unprofessional, he didnt even pickup the call to resolve the dispute. Stay away do not buy anything from here unless you want to waste your time and money.

The salesmen are rude and try to act smart, worse than folks who try to sell you lemon cars. But the owner is really nice and helpful. They offered free shipping, no tax and 3% off if you pay by debit card or cash...pretty good savings. You have to ask to talk to the owner and be patient while dealing with sales person as they try to trick you into paying more...

Awesome service from Eric! He helped me every time my boyfriend and I stopped at the store. Very patient and ensured us which items were in stock so we wouldn’t have to wait. Delivered on time like they promised! Actually a day before! The owner came out to ensure the job was done properly. I’m very happy with this place and their service! I purchased and sofa and love seat and the wood started to chip within a month. When I went back to see what they can do to help and they basically said best they can do is come take a look at it in 3 weeks because they are busy and they still have not come.

The worst place to buy furniture!!! When you first come in they treat you with respect, but after you find out after you buy bad furniture and go back to see how they can help, the store owner, tells me that I had just bad luck with purchase and nothing they do about a dinner table was full of nicks within the first few weeks and the sofas they look like they are 10 years old, I even tried with better business bureau and that didn’t help, because they never responded to them.This place it’s horrible !!!!No response to help youEduardo trivino

I’ve bought a few items from this store already including two sofa beds and one dining set. Prices can end up being intimidating but sometimes there’s wiggle room. There’s a wide selection of furniture items once you’re in the store. Quality is alright but I’ve never had any issues with their delivery.

Ive been buying my furniture from this local family owned furniture store for more than 8 years, never had a problem with the quality of the merchandise or damages whatsoever.I do my part and take care of my furniture once is in my house, hydrating leather and re-tightening any screwed or bolted piece as we all should every once in a while, to all the furniture in my house, because leather dries up and cracks and fabric gets torn and stained and wood and metal tend to get loose over time due to normal use.and Im a satisfied customer that will keep coming back.and I recommend this place to everyone.God bless🤗

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! One month ago I ordered a bed and still haven’t received it when you call Eric he won’t even answer the phone. Don’t buy from here they act nice at first and after they are horrible. And furniture doesn’t arrive they keep lying the day I had to go to that store multiple times until I finally canceled my order horrible experience.

I really love this place! They have unique and high quality furniture that I havent seen in the usual furniture stores. We were looking to furnish every room in the house and Eric was there to help us all the way. Eric was awesome - he gave us our freedom to roam the store, see what we liked and patiently answered all my MANY questions thoroughly. We bought a bedroom and dining room set and he was able to give us a great price for both. The delivery came as promised and done with care for our home by the delivery men. We are looking to update our living room now and will be going back to see Eric.

This website deserves ZERO STARS!!!! I ordered a glass dining room table with 6 chairs for our new house a little over a year ago. In less than one year, it started to tilt as the adhesive holding the glass began to wear off forcing the table to quickly fall apart. We called the furniture store and they were of no help whatsoever. The reason for my call was to refer me to someone who can fix the adhesive on the table even if I had to pay out of pocket. A lady on the phone, whose name is Vera, plainly said that there is nothing that can be done and instituting this was something I did to the table. There was no empathy and instead I received an unprofessional chuckle saying it cannot be fixed. They should be embarrassed to sell such cheap quality yet expensive furniture to customers. I should have listened to the horrible reviews they already had and appreciate the customers that wrote their experiences so that others do not make the same mistake! This is the first negative review i have ever written in google. I felt obligated to share my experience as well!Please believe the negative reviews you are reading. Stay far away from this place due to their unprofessionalism, distasteful customer service and cheap furniture.

I was looking to modernize my home and Johnny was so kind and courteous 👍.....he showed me around a bit then left me alone which I like!!!!! Then when it came time to purchase what I liked he worked with me on the pricing! We recently made a major purchase here. It is hard to find modern furniture in this area so when were driving by and saw the showroom we stopped in. We bought a new bedroom set on the spot. It was made in Italy and consisted of a queen platform bed and two nightstands, dresser, high chest and two mirrors. One mirror was over the dresser and the other was a matching full length dressing mirror.We also bought a coffee table and two matching end tables. I have to say we got an amazing deal. Delivery was set for the following week. They came exactly on time with a 3 man crew and set up everything exactly as we wanted. They even mounted the mirrors for us.I wish I could post picture because it looks amazing in our home.We had an excellent experience here. Our salesman Johnny even gave us his cell phone if we had any issues. I see some of the older negative comments here. All I can say is when we entered we saw a huge showroom full of beautiful, high quality furniture that was very competitively priced.The staff was terrific and they performed perfectly on delivery. Judge for yourself.

My experience at Room & Home was nothing less than perfect. Visiting the store we weren’t bugged and followed like you usually are at furniture stores, and when we needed help we were accompanied by Eric. I made a purchase my first time there. (3 pc Bedroom Set) Eric was very helpful and friendly. The delivery date was as promised and the delivery guys were very professional. Everything was right out the box and assembly was fast. No complaints for anything. Thank you Eric and thank you Room & Home.

Their customer service is great ! I bought a table two years ago and I only had a one year warranty on it. Although the bottom part was faulty they still honored the warranty even though it was already a year over. They sent someone over to fix it within a couple of days of the call. they didn’t have the part so they took the bottom piece to bring me a brand new one and replaced it a few days later. I initially called them thinking that they would just give me the manufacturers phone number and I’d have to buy a new part from them. They exceeded my expectations above and beyond by replacing the part completely and installing it, even though the warranty was over a year ago. Thank you for being honest and trustworthy and most certainly helpful. I would definitely recommend them. They have beautiful items at good prices and amazing customer service thank you again !

The furniture is very nice, but the company does not stand behind there merchandise. Go to get ideas, but do not make a purchase here. Pay attention to the business cards. No last name if you have an issue you will not receive any satisfaction. I purchased living room and bedroom furnishings. I had issues with the bedroom my nightstand had USB ports that never functions. Room and Home did not want to here it. You can purchase only if you don’t need support. I did see it online for less. The customer is not always right here! Run as fast as you can to a company that has ethics. If American owed means something to you this store is not. And he won’t tell you were he from either. No as good as its seems. It is a great experience unless you get something defective. Then you get the real deal which is no one wants to know who you are. I still had two rooms to furnish and I thought it would be from here! NOT! Buyer beware! You have been warned! Eric talk real nice.

The friendliest furniture shop in NJ. Not pushy at all, I had so many questions and they answered EVERY single one! I live on the 5th floor in an Apartment with no elevator and the delivery guys didnt even flinch! Delivery was on time as discussed and Its been a few months now and the couch, bed and office table are great! Worst customer service you will ever experience. Eric is the name of the store manager and he will never call you back. They do not care about you in any way after you make the purchase. They lied to me several times. Never returned my calls. I waited months for repairs that still until today have not happened. They changed their name once due to a lawsuit. Better Business Bureau will show you. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SHOP AT THE OTHER STORES ON THE BLOCK. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Furniture looks great, salesman are gentlemen, but the management doesn’t stand behind their products whatsoever. Sad to say, they’ll blame the customer even before seeing or hearing the issue.Spent almost $2,000 on a dining table set, which had numerous defects in the marble. Took them more than a month and constant emails to get an answer from someone. Then the owners hide behind the store manager and don’t even try and face the issue.Finally when it’s time to address the issue, they told me the defect is due to my wear and tear (clearly not the case if they even took time to see the issue).Onwards and upwards to small claims court we go so a judge can tell them they’re wrong.

Sales representative was arrogant and uninterested when we asked for the price of a recliner, he in return asked us “ do you like the color and are you going to buy? ” . I believe that the customer has the basic right to ask for the price. Never ever going back to this store again.“ Don’t judge a book by its cover “Reply to the Owner:Why would I ask for the price if there is a price tag? It was missing for the item which I looked at.

Most beautiful furniture store in NJ. Much nicer stuff here than the cookie-cutter stores you see all over the place. I bought a dining room set that they delivered within a week, and everyone that sees it asks me where I got it from. Couldnt be happier.

I purchased my furniture at room and home on November 4th and I received a damaged table and TV stand on November 15th and I was told to keep them until after Thanksgiving that they will exchange them since then Erick keep telling me next month today is April 20th and I still didnt receive not the table or TV stand I regret spending almost $10000 at room and home I had call American Express to hold the transaction

If you see this place RUN!!!! Run fast n Run Far! They sell overpriced cheap furniture that falls apart and breaks the same day its delivered to you. I bought a king size platform bed last month 12/2014 and literally hours later it collapsed on us. When I called the next morning to report the incident I was directed to the manager Tom. Tom said I broke the bed bcuz I moved it. So bcuz I moved the bed it broke? Yes I know this sounds ridiculous. This means I can never toss and turn in the night or even have whoopi with my boyfriend. Wow!!! They sent a tech to temporarily fix it after 3 calls. The bed of course collapse again 3-4 days after that. Technician #2 comes and temporarily fixes it and it lasts for almost 1 month. Thats it Ive had it! I want my $1600 back! Tom of course insists on sending tech #3 . At this point this bed is useless and how many times are you going to send a tech? My back n neck is hurting from all the times it collapsed in the middle of the night. Tom never offered an exchanged or a refund. Is this where you want to buy your furniture from? I wished I would of read all of these bed reviews prior to purchasing this nightmare of a bed. Tom Ill see you in court ok!

Dont go to room and home to buy furniture, I had bought furniture on 10/28/2012 and was suppose to have it delivery on 11/07/2012 and I had recieved part of my furiture the the friday before thanksgiving and I was told that the Wenesday before thanksgiving I could go and pick up my table, here it on 12/06/2012 and still dont have my table. I paided 2000.00 for my furiture and I am fighting with them just about every week and have gotten story after story about me getting my table. This store in Pa sucks, I feel that since I was bitching enough that they gave me the floor model with no discount on the floor model just to shout me up, I already filled a complaint with the BBB in NJ about this company they suck and I dont recommend any to shop at this or any Room and Home Stores.

Pillow top mattress which I bought in September is of really a bad quality.. it started sinking in a week and there is no option for exchanges like other stores..

I bought a . $3000 leather sectional and the chase lounge part is discoloring and cup holders are all rusted and the chair is changing color and the leather is worn on it I have no small kids I’m the only one who sits on it and it’s only 3 years old I spoke to customer service and was told it comes from China and that I can’t even call the manufacturer when it was sold to me the salesman said I had purchased an extended warranty that would cover wear and tear but when I called they told me I don’t have the warranty so don’t trust them they tell you lies to make the sale and they don’t stand by there merchandise so she told me I’m out of luck and can’t do anything about it I will never buy anything there again horrible quality I will go to value city they stand by there merchandise
