Always good food... You want nostalgia in Lindenhurst. The food quality hasnt changed in the 20 years I can remember going there. Its set up the same (different decor). Service is always top notch. Quiet early on weekends (big after church crowd). My favorite until you get into Nassau. Next time I get to that location Ill write a review π€π€π€
Food is always fresh and good. Standard diner hamburger made with quality meat, brisket when they have it as a special melts in your mouth. Never had a bad meal there in 20 years

My first time with my family to this Diner. Everyone from the owner to the waitress to the bus boy were all very gracious. Food was perfect. I highly recommend this diner if you are in the area.
The dining hours are posted that they close at 10pm on Saturdays...we walked in at 930pm and they wouldnt seat us...probably should change the hours...oh and by the way the woman was not overly nice about it...we will be taking our business to Lindenhurst Diner...gross customer service

I usually have no problems with this diner.However, today I ordered 2 roast beef sandwiches and some other items.When I received my order, the roast beef sandwiches I ordered were actually just pieces of toast!Just sliced rye bread in tin foil without anything on it!I am really disappointed. I understand human error but for 2 separate sandwiches...I dont think so.
The food was eh alright. But whatβs truly disappointing is the service. The waiters and waitresses are not friendly at all, they rush away like they donβt care and donβt even smile! They all look absolutely miserable! Especially the short old lady. No tip was The Right Choice!

This diner is an absolute staple on the South Shore. They NEVER disappoint! Huge menu with so many delicious tidbits to choose from and savor! Desserts like you wouldnt believe plus a very friendly staff! If youve never been, then youre missing out! Do yourself a favor and check them out. This is the last time I will ever order from this place. The woman who answers the phone is old and screws up every order I place. They havenβt gotten it right in a month. Then itβs my fault that the cook and the order taker canβt get on the same page. Offered to replace food but who wants to wait another hour for food. Waste of time and money. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I just ordered a buffalo chicken green salad from this place and it is so delicious I had to leave a review. I havenβt found a restaurant that makes salads just the way I like until today, and they gave me so much food in one serving I will be having this for at least two days. Great food and they had it ready right away.

Its not that I disliked it it was fair. I had a chef salad it didnt come with olives, it didnt have sliced tomato all Im saying is for $14 it could have been a hell of a lot better chef salad

Classic Long island diner offering decent food at a really great price. I only go for breakfast and they have great breakfast deals until 11am. Food is good but the home fries are super hot or miss.

Use to be a good place for breakfast. Went this morning with my aunt and our hash browns were mealy, and we asked for crispy well done bacon which was no where near crispy. Even the coffee was either burnt or very strong, think it was burnt though. The eggs and toast were fine. Dont think Ill be back.
The I (presume) owner is really accommodating and just extremely nice! Only eaten there a few times because Im new to the area but EVERYTHING has been delicious so far!
Great diner food, i always pick up food from here as well. I only had one bad experience here, they had high school graduation this night so i can understand the long wait. But had two young children with me and we were waiting well over n hour for out food at 10 oclock at night. Then most of the food was incorrect. Again this was my only bad experience here. The food is NEVER bad, i still continue to go to this diner as well as pick up to go.
What a Long Island Restaurant is all about. I have been visiting this place since I was a teenager. Love going there while back on Long Island. They are my go-to place for breakfast without a doubt. Huge portions, great unlimited coffee, delivered promptly, always hot a delicious. Lunch and dinner are no different. Did I mention they make terrific burgers?
I ordered for pick up at LindenHurst diner. I came here by accident. The staff was extremely rude and made made fun of me for going to the wrong diner. No wonder the place was empty
We had wraps and they were so good! The cole slaw was the best Ive had in a very long time. Highly recommend the fabulous service and delicious food. Cant wait to have my leftovers!

This has got to be the BEST diner on Long Island! The food was awesome! I ordered the fish special. The amount of food was too much for me and I used a doggie bag! The fish was not dry and was very tasty. The baked potato was huge! And I never tasted a spinach medley as great as theirs! I would have given 10 stars!

I would not recommend eating here. For one the coke cola does Not taste like Coke or Pepsi. If the owners are to cheap to get the right product (Coke or Pepsi ) right then they are cutting corners with the beef grade, chicken quality,etc.

My food is always fresh. My French toast is always pristine lol not too soggy, my only issue is that I have to ask for cinnamon and sugar. Im an odd ball but I judge diners on their breakfast food Im big breakfast food for dinner lady. The staff has always been nice.

Id love to give them more stars but Ive already had two bad experiences here. First, dont ever order the Yankee Pot Roast. Its drenched in a tomato soup mixture. When I sent it back they didnt even credit my bill. Second incident was with a Cobb Salad. It was missing the eggs. I mentioned it to tje waitress who in turn told the owner. He just smiled, shrugged and again no adjustment to my bill. Not sure if Im willing to give them a third opportunity to poor quality control in the kitchen.

They have the best diner food in town. But it is an all business atmosphere. There are a couple of friendly wait staff members but aside from that the staff and hosts can be a bit frigid

In my opinion, one of the best diners in Lindenhurst. Great variety on the menu. Pleasant and helpful staff. Love the souvlakis, not as good as in Astoria, but best in Lindenhurst. Have been going here for years. We used to live a block away and walked over all the time. Ample parking on premise and wheelchair accessible. Decor is a little dated. Still have juke boxes at some booths. Recommend for a quick tasty meal.

I literally just left there after not going there in years and now I remember why. First off the waitress was completely socially awkward and very unaccomodating. Secondly, I ordered the chicken and shrimp scampi special and when it was brought out, it had no shrimp! I told the waitress and she came back with 3 pieces of shrimp. I took a bite and it tasted like it had been dipped in dish soap!! I had my husband and mother in law taste it as well to see if it was just me and it wasnt! Then I tell the waitress and she just proceeded to stare at me. I told her politely to take it back and she said, do you want something else?She didnt say, Im sorry. Would I be able to get you something else. I was completely turned off and lost my appetite. Then the manager, who was aware of the situation, proceeded to give us the nastiest look and do NOTHING!!My in laws took me and my husband out for his birthday and what a terrible, disgusting excuse of a diner. Ive worked in this type of establishment and never have I seen such terrible food and lack of customer service. I will never step foot in that place ever again!!!!
