I have used Lexus before just like my dad did. This last time in the service department I left with no intention of ever returning there. To say the least I left having 0 trust in them. I am completely baffled with the cost of the estimate given, the lack of honesty in how they determined this estimate and how my feelings regarding their choice to upsell me on repairs beyond why I had come in for in the first place. My parents have owned Lexus’s and always took their cars to the dealership for everything, they encouraged me to do the same. Unfortunately after hearing of my experience they are disappointed. They no longer drive Lexus’s. Not sure why this transpired and how they could believe I would proceed with the work. I have since taken my Lexus somewhere else along with the work order that Lexus provided me with and my car is working perfectly and I did not spend anything close to what they quoted and I did not need anything close to the repairs they told me I needed done. I am beginning to look at getting a second car and unfortunately because of this experience I will not get a Lexus.
Scheduled to have a new key fob programmed (since lock smith doesn’t even want to touch it), purchase touch up paint, and purchase a $22 in cabin filter trey. My wife took the car in and they had it for 2+ hrs. Key programming went well (as for now). Had to order paint (which I provided the vin number for). The air filter trey is where things went off the rails. Instead of a $22 part which is what I was quoted and eventually just ordered from another dealer for $15 they installed (without my permission) an incorrect $80 part and charged me $15 to install. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if they would have consulted me prior to installing the in cabin filter (takes all of 2 sec to install). The more upsetting thing is that I got blamed for not providing the vin which was a complete lie since we used it to order the correct touch up paint. I complained and was told too bad. Upon arriving home and inspecting the work they hadn’t actually installed the trey for the filter. They only crammed the new filter into the slot without the trey I asked for and with all of the leaves I needed to remove. I called the next day again to complain to the manager and all of the sudden it became a priority. They said they would give me a refund of the $80 and install the $22 part i originally requested for free. I told them sorry I don’t have a lot of confidence in your dealership or service department if you can’t handle a simple task and then blame the customer. How will you try and take advantage of me in the future if I have a ‘bigger’ issue?

We thought the service was covered under our plan but it turns out it wasnt. We were told that getting our tires rotated and the alignment done every six months is a requirement even if we drive less than 2,000 miles. We were told our car was washed and vacuumed at the end of the service (and it was noted on our receipt) but it was obvious it was not washed or vacuumed; it makes me doubt if anything listed on the receipt was actually done. Very disappointing visit to LHM Lexus in Lindon.
Took in a Lexus that I was looking to purchase from a different, smaller dealer; I always like to get a second opinion on the condition the vehicle is in before a purchase. Turns out this particular vehicle was already brought in less than two weeks prior and was found to have a lot of issues. Rather than charge me for the inspection fee to look it over again, the maintenance guy was super honest and just told me about the report from last time and didn’t charge me for it. People often say that dealers try to nickel and dime you, but with my experiences in the past with other Lexus dealerships and an experience like this, I beg to differ. These guys just saved me thousands of dollars on avoiding repairs and a huge headache. If/when I buy another Lexus, I will 100% bring it back here for all my maintenance needs.
Brought car in for fuel pump recall, leaking windshield and regular oil change. All completed same day as promised
Very good attention, excellent service.
I had an oil change and safety check done. Overall they did a very good job, however it was a little irritating to get back into the car to find that the seat isn’t where I left it (along with a few other settings like the adaptive front lighting system).

Best place to go if you have a Lexus. Trust me Ive tried. Ive been to a handful of places. Best quality service--pricing is decent and worth it. Dont go to some mechanic that carries no Lexus parts or services them every so often.

Wash car, DMV Inspection also. One hour forty five minutes beyond appt time car was ready. Too long. Always a not so good car wash, lots of water spots smearing of windshield.
