After my covid shot next door I spent my 15 minutes walking around Job lot rather than...shhh... My first time here and what a great store. Clean, organized, and prices were not hard to find as everything was labeled.The staff were friendly and helpful and disinfected the register area between customers. I was impressed and I will be back as its a drive to get there but well worth it.

I will say that I have always encountered helpful and cheerful staff at Ocean State Job Lot in Litchfield. Yesterday I received exceptional service from a staff member named Doreen who checked a number of sources in an effort to locate a specific garment storage rack for me. The rack was on display in the store but had sold out. She ultimately was successful in finding the item in an Ocean State Job Lot store near my daughters home and she requested that it be put it on hold for us to pick up the next day. She was wonderful.

I was in the Ocean State Job lot in Litchfield Monday July 19th and I had the distinct pleasure of over hearing the employee pep talk. I was in the reading glass aisle. I stayed a little longer because I was so impressed. Ithink the speaker was probably the manager. He was telling the employees about theimportance of customer service. Making the customers feel welcome and ask if they need any assistance. He said we all know how it feels when we ask for help and the employee acts annoyed. Dont be that person. Customer service is rare. I was so impressed. I am surprised with myself that I did not comment earlier, but the experience of overhearing that wonderful pep talk is still resonating with me

Occupies space that was once Litchfield’s Stop & Shop, the place has a little bit of everything, most at decent bargain prices, just know what you’re looking for. Great for bottled water and seltzer. Also offers Food, clothing, office or garden supplies, pet supplies, kitchenware, limited tools and hardware. Friendly staff.

Good store but they dont carry charcoal lighter fluid but have everything else for camping !!! Makes no sense.

Ocean State Job Lot is one of my favorite idea places much to my wifes regret. I do tend to often go over budget when I am there. It is a great place, during the pandemic to pick up hand sanitizers, gloves, masks and even some of the As seen on TV advertized. I dislike waiting for deliveries, Im of the: I want to try it now, thought. My usual reason for going there is pet supplies, however they also have a decent art supply area, prep supplies for painting and cleaning dry goods such as jams, jellies, olive oils, seasonal goods, and a fairly large gardening supply area. They also carry some seasonal clothes, as well as home products like sheets and blankets. If youre having a party, check out grill supplies and seasonal plastic dishes and bowls. A little of something for everyone. This place is well worth checking out.

I did not expect to see an Ocean State here but it is a nice store, very neat and clean but just as confusing as any other Ocean State.

I go here weekly to stock up on dog bones so my dogs will shut up while Im on my work Zoom meetings. Woof!

I like there pet products in 😊 all the workers are very knowledgeable, courteous helpful, and uniquely Pleasant. They give it a small town feel.✌❤😊💛

Ive been to other Ocean State Job Lot s in the Cape. This is by far the nicest and cleanest store. Also staff that works there very helpful and pleasant.

Great place to shop, find some really good unusual food items, and a great selection of a wide variety of items, everything from household items to personal products. Great prices.

You need to come every couple of weeks because who knows what youll find. Their price on shirts, team logo shirts, gloves, shovels cant be beat. The same goes for Keurig pods, their price is great, just like Ollies.

Nice store, not.much experience with it yet, it only opened last year. Seems to be like a True Value or a mini Walmart to me. Prices are ok. A decent store for quick around the house items.

I visited this shop today to get a charger for my phone, and the shopping experience was outstanding! I was supposed to take a taxi to Watertown, but my phone ran out of battery. Caleb, the supervisor helped me call up a taxi and charged my phone! Great shopping experience!!

Bought a charger and broke it 2 hours later cus i dropped phone.

Ive always liked OSJL. I would go in for a couple of items and come out with a bagful. Its been open for a while now, but I am very happy that OSJL in Litchfield opened when Stop and Shop relocated. This store is clean and easy to navigate. I just discovered within the past week that their customer service is over the top. First it was a young man helping me with a wheelbarrow I had seen online and went to purchase in person, then it was over the phone when I called to see if a doormat was in stock. The one I wanted was not, and the young woman seemed genuinely disappointed on my behalf. She gave me the # for the Torrington store so I could call them. Incidentally, they had it but their customer service wasnt nearly on par with Litchfield. I love this store!

I Visited this store for the first time today since it had opened. This is one of the nicer Ocean state Job lots that I have been to. Very clean and neat. However, I’m only giving the store 2 stars because a cashier named Shelley made the check out experience awful. She was extremely rude to myself and my senior mother and even her coworkers! We hoped to use the senior discount on an item and she argued that it was not included when in fact the policy didn’t not exclude this type of item. She actually discarded the senior discount verbiage that was taped to he counter after the discount worked on the item. The other staff were pleasant and seemed we’re apologetic for her awful behavior. Shelley has got to go!!!
