They serve pineapple Dole whip, so obviously they deserve five stars! Huge portions though, wishing they had smaller sizes as I dont like to waste

Always delectable! Pleasant Service! Only disappointed with ice cream availability! 4 visits thus far, didnt have flavor of ice cream I requested on all 4 visits . Opted for another wonderful flavor . Love the country setting . Overall, worth the drive for a generous portion of delectable ice cream .

My family and I LOVE LIVE LIVE this cute ice cream parlor with a beautiful outside dining experience, especially in the evening with the lights. The icecream is creamy and luxurious and from a local farm. The team is always friendly and kind and extreamly accurate. I am all for supporting local businesses and this is by far one of my favorite places to go.

They have ALL of the Richardsons Ice Cream you could EVER DREAM OF!!! Also they have amazing, delicious Frappes, or Milk shakes...depending on where in NE you are from. Either way they can scoop it and blend it all.

Gotta love Lix. A litchfield/Hudson staple. For those that live in the town, they would agree this is the place to go for ice cream.The dolewhips are good, get it twisted with vanilla though. My favorite is coffee kaluha brownie!

If you like the local community ice cream stop, with outdoor seating, this place is for you. It can get quite busy with long lines on local school sporting days, but it is worth it. There is always a special dessert offered (like homemade apple crisp) that is so large 2 to 3 people could partake in eating it. My daughters favorite is this epic double cookie dough sundae they offer as a special on occasion. The lady in charge is a lovely Southern belle whom is always a joy to talk with. The kiddos that work there are polite and quick with service, as well. Plus, you can get a punch card that can lead to a free kiddie ice cream!

Great service & great product. We enjoyed a pineapple flavor which was amazing & our 2 pups enjoyed a vanilla yogurt which they gobbled up. This is a pup friendly environment & we shall be returning. The ice cream shop was beautifully decorated & just a happy environment.

The ice cream at Lix is really good and they provide generous portions. For most people, their kiddie sized servings will hit the spot. They made some small mistakes in filling our order, but it was so good, we just ate what we got and enjoyed it.

Awesome selection of flavors. The prices are great too...and the portion sizes are very generous...even my teenage kids were satisfied with the small or kiddie sizes. Friendly staff, great service! Used to live in Litchfield and we wish this was there when we were!

OMG! This is the BEST ice cream anywhere. The owners are so friendly and the ice cream is amazing!! Their blueberry pie ice cream tastes just like the pie!! So delicious. It has become my new favorite. And they have two locations one on Litchfield and one in south Hudson on the Massachusetts border.

The ice cream was delicious! Great, large serving sizes. They even have a rewards program to earn free ice cream. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because there is no public restroom.

We go to Lix here and there because they have my sons favorite icecream. It is called Phantom berry. It is a black raspberry with cookie crumbles in it and they also have a hot fudge brownie sundae to die for. This is a great stop.

They have a great selection and great tasting icecream. We live close by and would frequent more often except the portions are way too large. If I want a large icecream that is what I will order but usually we just want a small one and cant even finish. I wish their sizes would be more realistic.

Lix has so many delicious flavors and I have been going here with my daughter and husband for so long and now since we have a new puppy we are excited to bring her there too so she can have a taste of the delicious refreshing icecream.

So, its Monday evening and my sweet aunt was having a rough day. She had posted something on Facebook about how her neighbor had received a delivery from Lix, and how she wished that she could have the deep fried cookie dough balls from them, and within the post, she had taken a picture of the delivery car that had the phone number on the side. I called, from Maine, and spoke with Jay. He was so incredibly helpful and accommodating even though it was 20 mintues before they closed. After I had called and placed my order, I was on facetime with my aunt. Jay knocked on the door and delievered her amazing desserts!! He drew a flower and wrote Happy Spring on the bag!! This is by far, the most amazing experience that I have had with a food establishment. Lix is AMAZING and Jay showed that he genuinely cared about his customers. Well done, Jay..thank you for making my aunts night. I will be spreading the word, here from Maine, about how awesome you are!!!
