I am thoroughly impressed with the customer service at Sutherlin Volkswagen Lithia Springs. I was so upset previously, because of a bad experience I had at another Volkswagen, and had to drive 30 min to this specific Volkswagen. I was having trouble with my tires and Sutherlin Volkswagen put me on schedule ASAP.When I arrived I was greeted by numerous employees, and they made sure that I was okay and asked if I needed anything. They had tea that was delicious, and they offered to give me a loaner car due to my work schedule. They made sure I was taken care of throughout my whole appointment. My car is now in tip top shape and I will be visiting again!

I had such an amazing and easy going experience at this location. Honestly the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had! Tory was my salesman and made the deal happen quick and easy. Maurice has been helping me with everything else that I needed. Everyone is so kind and offers to help with anything i need. I would definitely recommend coming here for any of your car needs.

Ive had my 2020 Jetta serviced at this location a few times, and I can say that each time is a PLEASURABLE experience while dealing with the headache of car maintenance. The employees are very professional over the phone, and extremely attentive from the time you walk through the door till the time your vehicle is finished (as they should). There are 2 waiting areas with one having a lounge, TV (with something interesting on), and outlets which is the area I personally like. BEWARE of slight traffic if you are comin from anywhere East before the exit. This location is also appointment based if you were wondering.

Both Chris who sold us the car, and Chris in finance are fantastic! We bought our car here last week, and my wife and I both serve in the U.S. Army. Chris in finance did a TREMENDOUS job at remaining patient with us, and keeping our payments down (all out of courtesy)! He’s a keeper. Chris the salesman always made sure our vehicle was kept in good standing, worked with us when buying the car, and kept us informed. Five stars from us! Also the ladies on the front desk, who pick up the initial phone calls have great customer service.

They have always done a great job when I go in and they stand by their work. I only take my car to the dealership, and this one happens to be exceptional.

Learned from Volkswagen Corporate that an employee from this dealership hacked our Car Net Account and removed our access to it. DO NOT TRUST these people! NONE OF THEM!Management, do better when vetting people you are considering hiring because they have access to sensitive information and can cause INNOCENT customers havoc..Example: Going to their homes(addresses are easily obtained through your computer system) and breaking into their cars by registering a Fake name on Car Net then stealing items out of their vehicles etc..The name used was Murice Brown on our Car Net account..

Came down from Chicago to scope out a car they listed online. From start to end, LT was one of the most professional, caring, and attentive car salespeople I have ever had the pleasure of working with. In the end the car didn’t work out due to unforeseen circumstances, none of which were his fault, but I would definitely give this dealer my business again if the opportunity arose. Way better experience than I’ve ever had with dealers in the city.

Went in to potentially trade my car in for a much needed upgrade. I didnt end up purchasing the vehicle (strictly personal) but Torrey Davis and the entire team at this location was very helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. My husband was working with Bill on buying a new 2021 Atlas. Of course, we were working with other dealerships as we wanted to get the best price. On Saturday morning my husband asked Bill to send him a price sheet on the Atlas he wanted before they hit his credit, Bill stated that they dont send over price sheets. That was fine, another dealership did where we were able to see the breakdown and they were going to get us the price we wanted. We headed to that dealership at noon and worked on signing paperwork. At 1pm Bill sent my husband pictures of the Atlas from his personal email and then texted a picture of the price sheet. As we had already signed paperwork and were waiting on going into finance it didnt make a difference in our decision. Once we got out of the dealership my husband texted Bill that we decided to go with another place but thanks for his help. This is when Bill decided it would be a good idea to berate my husband through text messages, including telling him that a man should be a man of his word and that all we did was use the price sheet to get a better deal. It was one of the weirdest and most unprofessional experiences that Ive ever had. My husband is in sales, sometimes things dont work out; you dont proceed to yell at someone like a unhinged maniac. I guess the moral of the story is, if you work with Bill be prepared to buy from him or get 20 text messages in 5 minutes yelling at you. I think management may want to look into some emotional intelligence training for Bill.

I would like to recognize one of the employers at the establishment. Finance Manager Graham was amazing. I visited Volkswagen in hopes of finding a solution to a situation I was facing. Turns out I ended up buying a car. I had my doubts at first knowing my financial situation. But as I conversed with Graham he brought some comfort that was mind-changing. He helped me find the best deal that was right for me and answered all questions that I needed to know. I took my VW Jetta in for an oil change. It was a Monday appointment and I arrived early and wasn’t greeted until 5 minutes after my appointment time. The gentleman at the service desk treated me fine, he quoted me a price that was higher than was on the website and I let him know. He told me the prices needed to be updated but when the time to pay came he added a discount so the price would match the website. Since I’m a younger girl I’ve had some car service providers try to overprice or oversell me, but these guys didn’t do it. That being said, I did have to wait 2 hours before getting out of there. Overall good service, but the timeliness of the place could use some TLC.

I purchased a car and didn’t have any money so I emptied my savings because the manager said they would give me a check to pay my first 2 payments. I have it in writing with what they said was a ‘we owe’ and til this day I still have not received the check nor has my bank who I have to pay which is Volkswagen credit. I called and the manager Bernard said the owner was not giving me my check. They lie and are crooked and I’m going to get an attorney and sue them!I have it in writing so buyer beware and don’t buy from Sutherlin Volkswagen. The management is horrible and lie to you!

I went in for an oil change on Feb 6 and air was added to my tires because the light was on. When I left I noticed my car was driving differently but thought it may be because my tires now balanced with air.Fast forward to today, now ALL 4 of my tires are worn. BEFORE I went there my tires were fine. I cannot prove it but I believe someone switched my tires.I will not be doing business there again. This makes no sense to me and unfortunate someone would try to get over like that.

Been in the city for close to 6months now and this was the Volkswagen I was directed too. Came in for a recall: Headlight Adjustment for my screw caps, and Mr. Walters was very helpful. I had previous gotten a ticket for the headlight so was eager to bring my baby in for inspection. Although it does seem like little to nothing was wrong my headlight indicator went off after inspection, so I believed it was a part of the adjustment. Two days go by and unfortunately the light had returned. Called VW and spoke to Patrick who wasn’t that knowledgeable about my vehicle and the problems that could’ve arose, so I viewed my invoice for the proper service advisor and he gave me the run down of not only what he did and the ways that my light can easily be effected! Thank you Mr. Walters!

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! Y’all should be lucky y’all got one star!!! I had an electrical problem and a recall, Jeremy at the front desk told me that I had to leave my car overnight because it takes a day or two for the diagnostic test. I was like ok, I dropped it off the Tuesday, I told him I was going to be out of town the Thursday so if it was possible for me to pick it up the following Monday. He said ok! Nobody called me the Thursday so I waited until the Friday to call back, they said they still running the test I said ok! I came back in town the Monday, I called about the car, she said they still doing the test, I was like is there a way I could get a loan car because I have to work and the car is my only transportation. They said they don’t do that and she hang up on me! I had to call back like three or four times, I asked for the manager and they said he’s in a “meeting” for over FIVE hours( lies)I was getting heated, I called corporate and told them everything. The dealership called me back and said the car is in the shop and they’re going to start working on it, so I was like WHERE WAS THE CAR ALL THIS TIME!!! They said they had a lot of cars in the shop to work on, so they lied to me at the beginning. After three days they told me that the parts that the car needed cost $1,200 and with the test and everything i would of to pay them 2,200. I told them to leave the car the way how it is and I would come pick the car up and mind you I still had to pay $300 for the diagnostic test, even my radio stopped working and they still didn’t do the recall. They only want to swindle money from you, lie and give attitude! They won’t see my face there never ever again. The one in kennesaw is excellent!!

Dont get service there. Went there for a diagnostic test. My engine oil was leaking from the bottom and I want to find the cause. They did not inspect it and was trying to order $14,000 new engine without my consent.Almost the same price of my car. They did not call to inform me. Since I didnt get an update call on friday, because I dropped it off on Thursday I had been calling them since then because I didnt feel right and finally got to someone on Tuesday. Each excuse before I got through was oh the techs are checking the car but on the notes they stated that there is no inspection done. I had to get my car out of there. I sensed my car was not in a good place because usually I am calm . Please dont go there, something is not right with that place.

This is for the service department. If you are a woman, I suggest you DONT come here. The manager Tom & his mechanics will try to take advantage of you as well as they can until they’re CAUGHT! My car had an oil leak and I had to replace my water pump. I decided to change my water pump first at $1500 & fix my oil leak on a later date ($1400). They tell me my car is ready and when I go to start my car it shuts off after 2 seconds. Kept stalling in the parking lot and the mechanic comes out to tell me that it’s because of the oil leak & because my engine is cold and needs to warm up.... well I had an oil leak before I came in and had no issues with my car stalling. I call my dad on the phone because he knows everything about cars and what the mechanic was saying was not making any sense so we ask for a manager. Coincidentally the manager left by the time we went back inside after not even being outside for 5 minutes. Long story short they kept my car another day and told me my car was ready at 3pm the next day. According to Tom there was a “little bitty piece that disconnected” LOL so I ask how does something like this happen & he says it must’ve knocked off when they were working on it. YEAH OK TOM. I wouldn’t trust these people if I were you. Trying to get me to spend extra money and during a pandemic at that. Shame on you dishonest people. I was going to come back to get my oil leak fixed here but they ruined my trust with this one. -5 STARS IF I COULD!!!! BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!!!

The only reason there is a star is to allow to write the review, the service department at Volkswagen at horrible, I feel they took advantage of my 21 year old daughter because she went to the dealership by herself.She has her first car and felt the service department would handle her problem. They charged her $ 490.00 for a battery ( which I don’t feel she needed) and a drive belt. When she came to pick up her car and paid her money the car wouldn’t start, they took it around the back, apparently to rig it.Within 24 hours of picking up her car it broke down. She was told by the service man Patrick how to rig it after she just paid $ 490.00! We spoke to the very rude manager Demetrick who stated he was not returning her money and if it service again it would be another cost of a diagnostic test! We called customer care and was told the service department will reach back out to us. It has been two weeks and they have not called. The next step now is to take this to the State Attorney general and report to the Better Business Bureau. Do not take your car here for service!!

I got a car at the end of November 2020 and here we are still January 2021 and my temp tags has now expired and they are just now getting the proper paperwork to the DMV! After them sending paperwork countless of times woth the wrong name, wrong pricing, just wrong everything. After they get you to sign a contract and your money they dont really care too much about customer service. You can hardly get anyone on the phone... Bernard is the BIGGEST JOKE OF THEM ALL!!!! Defintion of someone who gets a little bit of power and takes it to a whole other level!!! So here i sit still not being able to drive my car for another 2 weeks maybe until I get my license plates. Or I can drive my car and get pulled over every time for expired tag. Either way its a big inconvenience and mess up and their end and they act as if they could careless! Amazing staff. Overall my experience was great from start to finish! Marquise was amazing he was so friendly and funny. He did not waste our time and was honest about everything up front. The financial advisor that we signed papers with was also great. Not only did she go over and explain everything perfectly she had amazing shoes. Experience was okay....been taking my vehicle here for service and repairs since I bought it. Was a bit taken aback when the service rep told me that Id be better off taking it elsewhere, due to it being an older model car and that components may start breaking down at the same time, so Ill save money going to an independent repair shop. I purchased the car from Heritage, Lithia Springs and as stated, have been taking it there for years since then. Since when did dealerships/service departments start turning away business to independent repair shops? Dont get me wrong, I most likely WILL save money by doing this, but I just dont think you turn away business from loyal customers. Sometimes, although you pay more, its easier to work with the dealer service department. With outside repair shops, depending on what the issue is, mine was check engine, you could be waiting for days for replacement parts, before you can get your car back. If you can still drive without compounding an issue, great, if not, youre going to have to make alternate transportation arrangements. The dealer normally has parts on hand, so you can get repairs sorted faster or a loaner......Thanks for the tip though, Im definitely going to try out that repair shop you told me about. If it works out, neither me or my old car will be back at Heritage. Id like to also add here, that Heritage has a sister dealership in Union City. For some reason, they seem to offer different specials. Check the Union City website for details, if you see one that Lithia Springs doesnt have, ask them to honor it.

Never Never do business with this dealership. This dealership decided to do fraudulent activities behind the back of their customers. Read your contract multiple time please and be vigilant they can sell you a damage car as well without disclosing any informations. My brother and I will drop a complaint to report that business to the State Attorney General this Monday and the Business Bureau to prevent situation like this. They did fraud a big fraud on my cousin loan and we just contacted the bank about it. Disrespectful manager and employees who ask you to “ shut up” because you addressed the Fraudulent activity. The service department was horrible, lack of interest in service to me ask a customers. The biggest mistake I made is not reading the reviews! The service guy looks at my address and statedyou are a long ways from home, why you came here? Really, its that how you greet a new customer. I brought my car in for a check engine light. Which I made an appointment in advance for it to be looked at. Was told once I arrived that the Computer System was down. The service manager Jerry was very rude and seemed bothered that he was talking to a female. Very male chauvinist pig type not professional at all. He informed me that nobody could look at my car today. But wasnt notified prior to my arrival. My vehicle wouldnt be touched or looked at until the next day. The next day I waited all afternoon with no follow up. I picked up my vehicle and went to Union City VW. Within MINUTES they had a diagnosis and the solution. I will no longer return to Thornton Rd location. Obviously they have better things to do other than working.

I set up a 9:00 am appointment for my vehicle to get a simple oil change and inspection. I am new to this side of town and this was my first visit with this particular dealership. Long story short this store is a shadow of what I come to know as Volkswagen service. Once I arrived to the dealership for my appointment I wasn’t greeted with that warm feeling I once knew as Volkswagen service, it felt like they were doing me a favor. I was also accompanied with my 2 year old toddler and we were seated in a waiting room that didn’t even have a working television. After our hour and half wait for my vehicle to be serviced ( a simple one at that) I was approached by an employee that begins to tell me “there was a delay” and as I ask what happened and how much longer would my child and I would have to wait? The response was” if we skip the car wash it might be 45 more minutes” and it really made me feel as if my time wasn’t valued as I’m in a quite waiting room with my toddler. They didn’t even pull my car inside the service bay that entire time, literally nothing was done for the hour and half I was there. As I asked to just have my car back and was leaving there seemed to be no remorse or just plain old customer service as I left. This hands down was the worst experience I’ve ever had with anything retail, let alone a dealership that carries a brand that I respect so much.

Mm, where do I even begin. They sold me a new lemon in 2018 and a maintenance package to go with it. Refused to acknowledge the maintenance package that I bought from this location! The sales manager actively yelled at me when I asked to trade my car. I’m not sorry for the one star I’m going to repeatedly give this place. I called corporate VW and reported this place a few months ago. They told me that I had a maintenance package. Update your F****** computers!

I will not be coming to this location again. It took a week and a half to receive a diagnostic that I made an appointment for. I had to call consistently to get an update to see if my car had been serviced and I was given the run around. Last time I came to get an oil change, I waited 2 hours in the lobby and was charged more than what was stated at the beginning of service. The next day they called to ask me to complete a customer feedback survey and they said they would give me a free oil change if I gave them a great review. I would not recommend you come here to service your car. Poor customer service.

Tami & Chad were both outstanding. They were straight forward, without any of the car salesman gimmicks. Ive purchased and leased several vehicles over the years, and that is why I truly dislike the process. Usually, it requires the buyer to spend more time worrying about not getting screwed instead of getting a great deal, or having a good customer experience. I was having issues with my 2007 VW bug which I did not service or buy from Heritage. I called the service department, explained the issue and Jerry told me to bring it up after I got off work. I arrived and Matt took my car straight back. It was a quick fix and they didnt charge me anything, never even mentioned price. I started walking around the showroom and Nick and I started talking. After a test ride in a brand new car I decided to purchase it and trade-in my bug. Jerry brought me in, Matt solved my problem, Nick put me at ease during my first new car purchase & Arthur was incredibly helpful and very nice. EXCELLENT customer service, unlike any Ive ever received before.From the first phone call to adding my temp tag in my brand new car everyone, EVERYONE I met there was kind, attentive, helpful and patient. Completely impressed with this buying experience. I buy and trade vehicles a lot (almost too much) and was previously in Auto Sales myself, the staff and dealership automosphere as a whole was amazing. LT and Kevin were my sales associates whom had great teamwork to get my exactly what I wanted at the price and terms I needed. LT impressed me by even recalling details we had discussed over a month prior on the spot once he heard my name, not a typical salesman.. I am hard headed and knowledgeable so I was not easy on them. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly nice and generous. They don’t try to sell you a vehicle you don’t really want unlike other dealerships, they ask what you’re looking for/ interested in and they do their very best to get you exactly that ! They also try to work out offers and deals to fit you. Me and my sister both got our vehicles from here and we’re extremely pleased with them and this locations customer service !

Pretty disappointing. I set an appointment about a week or more ahead of time to get some maintenance done on my car. I was scheduled at 2pm on a Friday. I took my car in on time and dropped it off. I called them at the end of the day to see if they had gotten to it and they hadn’t, which wasn’t a big deal, so I decided to call the next day. I waited until about 4pm on Saturday to call and when I spoke to Jerry, he told me they hadn’t looked at it yet. I wasn’t upset but I expressed my concern about the appointment but he told me it would get looked at.Fast forward to Monday. It’s around 3pm and I called again for a status update. I tried several times and I couldn’t get anyone to answer so I took an Uber there. When I arrived, there was a group of people making jokes about how they were avoiding phone calls of customers who were demanding. Receptionist even told me I saved them from it. After I spoke to Jerry again, he told me they hadn’t had anyone look at it. I then told him that I wanted my keys back. It had been 3 days of my car sitting there without being touched. This is with an appointment too. Then we walked around the shop for awhile looking for my keys because they didn’t know where they were. All Jerry had to say was “sorry we couldn’t help you.” Not exactly awe inspiring.It didn’t seem as though my business or my time were a concern to anyone there. I took my business elsewhere.

My husband and I had the best car buying experience because of Tammy and Chad! We knew what we wanted when we called and they got right to the point without trying to upsell to us or add in any extra costs/charges that we were not aware of. They were very professional and made the whole experience a pleasant one which is normally not the case when buying a new car. 11-19-2018 Today I had a wonderful experience with the Heritage Volkswagen service department. Alan was very helpful and kept true to his promise of getting me in and out in a timely manner despite the influx of so many people wanting service prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. I was kept apprised of everything prior to the service as well I was greeted with smiles and friendliness from every Heritage employee I encountered. Youre treated like family and I like that! Dont make the mistake I did. Their used vehicles are sold without a warranty. A week after purchase I had to replace battery cables for are ground issue, three weeks after purchase had to flush change filter and refill transmission. I still havent gotten to the recommended oil change filter replacement yet. Also was told tag would be mailed to me after being charged for the tag, a week after the drive off tag expired I was told to pick it up and the tag office where I had to pay for the tag out of my pocket.

I previously posted a favorable review of this dealership- that was before I knew that I had been lied toI was told that the vehicle I had chosen had all these safety features - during the test drive the guy is explaining how they work and even pointing to show me how they are workingThis has zero of the safety features I was sold, but I did not realize until a couple days after I had signed the papers - I went back and spoke to the same salesman and he went in and “tried” to see what he could do to get me in a vehicle that had the features I was sold- no successThe salesperson said he was going to contact their aftermarket company to see if anything could be done to make it right for me—- I have not heard back from him or anyone else since August- I called emailed and texted with no response - I called and left messages for the dealership manager - also no responseI am now stuck in a lease for 3.5 years for a vehicle that I don’t feel safe in and honestly hate. I am sure this is my fault for not knowing more about cars and trusting what I am told, BUT I was totally taken advantage of and I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemyUpdate- there was recently a reply from the dealership saying they apologize and they will be reaching out- they have not reached out. I’m beyond dissatisfied!! If I was granted the option of giving negative stars I would. It was the worst experience with a service department in a dealership. My son and I were completely taken advantage of and so was the warranty company. After waiting 30 days for my sons car to be repaired, we received it back with a broken AC which was not broken prior to bringing the car to the service department. Not only did they refuse to admit they damaged the AC the Service Manager was condensing and very rude. Their commitment to a customers happiness is a lie. I am escalating my issue to the Better Business Bureau, as a paying customer I expected to receive the service I paid for,HONESTY, and GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. If only someone had warned us to not patronize this dealership. They serviced an electrical issue, damaged my sons AC and left us with the expense of having the AC repaired. To add insult to the injury they posted a generic message to my post

I had an oil change appointment initially the week prior which I made online and when I arrived I was told that the website shouldn’t have let me make an appointment as they were completely book until the following week(someone should monitor the website).I was frustrated as I had driven to the dealership approximately 15-20mins from my home and being new to Atlanta I was hoping to be accommodated for my trouble but no. I did return the following week and it took approximately 2 and half hrs which I feel they definitely should explain to the customers prior to the appointment so that arrangements can be made but luckily I had the time to wait. I assume also from the website that the cost of the oil change would $79.99(please confirm price prior to scheduling appointment), but it was $20 more due to the other things the checked within the 2hrs they had my car but I was given a coupon which covered the additional cost. All in all the customer service was good and I would recommend them to others but with stipulation of what to expect. The dealership at home gave complimentary drinks, snacks as well something the dealership shouldthink about adding in the future, you can’t put a price on great customer service.

I would love to give them 0 stars. Bought a car last August, they have had the car at least 3 months out of that time(car not drivable 4 months) told them car was leaking told me no sent me home with car leaking gas, and coolant. Finally said it was the water pump. Now after $3000 2 batteries, an alternator low and behold there was a leak from thermostat housing. That should have been covered under my warranty, but since I have been calling asking to speak to the service manager for over 3 weeks, with no call back and he is never available, my warranty has now expired. Had the car a year, been able to drive it about 6 months.

I was very happy to get such a good deal on my 2019 Golf Sportwagen. I was hesitant to get rid of my 2009 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI cause it got great mileage, was a diesel, and had a manual transmission. However, I love the new car with all the safety features and infotainment technology. I was able to get 40 mpg. My only problem is that I misunderstood the Start Stop system. I do not think that it was properly explained to me. I was under the impression that the vehicle engine did not completely shut down when stopped, and I found out that it does, so I will probably not use that feature as I think that may be bad for the life of the engine. The engine shuts down at a stop but the other systems like the AC and radio keep running. The explanation of the Start Stop system is why the rating is not 5 out of 5; however the great deal may override that to make it a 5 out of 5. I probably would not have bought the car had it not been for the great deal. I was, only, looking for this car cause I had, just, found out that VW stopped making this car, and I wanted a wagon. Most people want an SUV but not me; I wanted the wagon and there are not many to choose from. I love the way the VW drives, am very impressed with all the safety features, the engine is plenty big enough for me that gives great mileage and the transmission is good, the feel of the car on the road is great, and I love the infotainment system.

Called in my service appointment early in the week. Arrived on scheduled and was told I had no appointment, even after I showed the service department employee my online confirmation - at their location. I was told it would be an hour and a half for an oil change. Ive been going to the Heritage VW of South Atlanta for the past 5 years, and only recently moved tot he west side of town. Compared to the Union City location, you guys REALLY need to get it together. HVWSA even has an online app that you can schedule an appointment. The fact that you dont I blame on management - come on guys. Fix it!!
