I originally met Mike over a year ago when building our dream house. He takes the whole personal service to a new level. The first time I went into see him, he gave me so many ideas. We were able to do our entire house countertops in the granite I wanted for cheaper than anyone else. I also had my kitchen island done in a way no one could have done. We love it.I recently had to have Mike come back after a water leak under my sink. He came the day I needed him to remove and reinstall. Looks like nothing ever happened.The best part I feel about dealing with Mike is the one on one. Selecting product (Granite) for out house was easy and straight forward. The ability to view a large sample gives a much better visual than a4 X 4 sample at the other places.

From start to finish, Mike Janssen was professional and helpful to a couple of people who knew pretty much nothing about natural stone countertops before we started. He kept us well-informed throughout the process. When one of the granite slabs we selected from his supplier arrived at the shop badly scratched, he called right away and let us know -- it wasnt acceptable to him, so he knew it wouldnt be acceptable to us. He measured our kitchen countertops carefully, and he and his colleague installed them even more carefully. As an added plus, we felt the job was quite reasonably priced for the quality of the materials and the workmanship. We would definitely recommend Stone Encounters!
