Just WOW! This team did an outstanding job with our covered patio. I asked for a covered patio that looks like it is part of the house with brick ascents around the posts. In addition, a fan and recessed lights. I could not have asked for a more perfect designed covered patio to complement my house. Just look at the pictures! All this for about $12000 less than other companies.

They are the worst contractors I have ever seen! Incompetent and always try to cut the corners. I hired them to do a 10 x 10 and a 13 x 13 stamped concrete. In just 6 months, both concrete pads developed long cracks crossing the entire concrete. The cracks became white and extremely ugly.They were very careless about my jobs. Just to name a few of their mistakes:1. They did not cut any control joints on the 10 x 10 or the 13 x 13 concrete pads. They either wanted to cut the corners (only 10 mins job!) or are incompetent.2. They left the rebars on the ground when pouring concrete. No supporters were used to lift up the concrete. The rebars became useless.3. They did not put any separation (e.g wood) between the new concrete pads and my foundation.I extremely regret about hiring them! Unfortunately, concrete is unforgivable. These people need to be overseen at all times. They kept saying you do not need to be onsite, but indeed, if I were not overseeing them, they would have even made more mistakes! These people are very unprofessional. They do not care about your homes.

Hugo & his team built a patio cover extension on our new build. I had concerns about building onto our home as this was our first time, Hugo completely put all of my worries away. I had an idea of what I thought it should look like & Hugo was eager to work with me & offer suggestions.I was away during construction (adding on to my anxiety) & had the project overseen by family, when I returned I was absolutely blown away by their work. I have never seen such craftsmanship & and attention to detail. Our new patio exceeds every expectation we had & I could not be happier with our decision to use HJ.Weve had 3 neighbors write to us & ask for their information, the quality of the material & craftsmanship certainly shows! Hugo and his team arrived at 7am sharp to start our backyard patio foundation. He and his crew were professional and watching them work, very experienced. Finished product looks amazing. Price point was very fair. We will use him again and highly recommend this team.

I paid Hugo over $7,000 to add concrete in my backyard and add a covered aluminum patio. I described the patio to him in detail. He even showed a picture to me of how the patio would look like which I was satisfied with. However he put up a very cheap carport which is already rusting after one year. It looked nothing like the picture he sent me. I also found out later he overcharged me for concrete by $1,000. When I brought this up with him, he got very rude and defensive about the quality of his work. I also think not all of the pictures on his website gallery are his. You can see that some vehicles in the pictures are not the ones available in the United States. I am sure he will respond to my review and point fingers at the customer instead of taking responsibility. Do not treat people like this Hugo. It is not good.

We have used Hugo for 4 projects, 2 back yard patios, a pergola, an outside kitchen, and another backyard patio. Very good price, very good quality job, always on time. Very understanding what the client wants and delivers! I highly recommend Hugo to anyone who wants to upgrade their back yard!

I had a separate patio with a walkway and a pad for a storage unit poured. Hugo and his men showed up on time ready to work. They were so professional and went above and beyond. We hired Hugo to complete a patio cover in March of 2019 and they did a great job with the exception of the hole that they put in our bedroom from going to far when installing outlets. I had to text him for at least a month and a half over and over again until he finally came out to fix it. Even after he fixed it, he didn’t bother to repair it to the state it was in prior to him and his crew damaging the inside of our home or bother to clean up the mess it created. After I still decided too consider him and his crew for a concrete job for the deck around our pool. That’s where we made the biggest mistake. I should have never done that. The job they did was ok. They got a ton of concrete in our pool and even then still missed a lot of areas around the pool. I text him about it and he came back out and too my surprise still missed areas around the pool! I’ve been texting him over and over and over again about coming back out and he says he is coming this week but I have pages of text saying the same thing and when I text asking about him returning he always states he was busy that week. Starting to notice a lot of areas around our deck that are just not covered correctly or it’s already chipping from simple water hose sprays. He charged me extra to remove concrete that him and his crew didn’t buy enough cool deck to cover and didn’t even remove all the concrete so now there’s a huge chunk of concrete left in the yard. I would not recommend him or his crew on any concrete work.
