The worst Pharmacy Experience Ever! They have horrible attitude! And Down Talk?!!!! Get these Guys all Fired Right Now! Wanna treat me like trash? No problem! 1 Star Earned! Hopefully Many More to Come! What a Disgrace this Walgreens Pharmacy is. Complete Trash
The store employees closed the store at 5 pm today and would not let anybody into the store or through the drive through to pick up their prescriptions. If that wasn’t enough they were sitting and smiling at everyone from behind the glass LOL. At least 15 customers we’re standing at the front door. The employees here are either very underpaid or very overworked or possibly both. That’s completely understandable. However, if you’re gonna lock the store and go on strike at least leave the drive through open and let us pick up our medications in your future strikes. You need to remember a lot of people coming for their medications NEED their medications. I came today to pick up a prescription for my grandfather which he needed today not tomorrow. They refused to let anybody into the store. Corporate should consider shutting down this location it just makes the name Walgreens look disgusting. This is the most trash Walgreens I have ever gone to. I only used to come here because it was once convenient but after this experience I will never be back. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. There’s actually a shop rite down the street with a functional pharmacy! You don’t have to take my word just scroll down and read the rest of the reviews (:
Terrible! On the phone and in person. They make you wait for so long. PLEASE HIRE BETTER PERSONAL TO WORK THERE!
I just sat at the pharmacy for a vaccine (non covid) that was scheduled for 45 minutes for a employee to come up to me with no mask to tell me “we have a problem. I don’t have the thingy I need to do this”. While waiting the pharmacist was just eating behind the counter as the line grew 7 people deep and only 1 out of 4 people behind the counter took anyone. Waste of an hour of my life and had to drive to Caldwell to get what I needed.
The worst, dangerous. Almost gave covid shot to woman there for flu shot. Using pre drawn syringes with out showing you the vial. Never asked for my ID. I waited well over an hour for an appointment I made. The staff is totally uninterested, including the pharmacist.
This pharmacy should be shut down. I have never had a smooth transaction here and i have no idea why i keep going back. The app tells me my prescription is ready, i go there and sit in a line ever single time for 20min or more for them to tell me its not in the system? I get an attitude from the cashier as im trying to explain and physically show her the walgreens app showing my prescription is ready. Im then asked if i want to wait for it or come back. This has happened way to many times and no one has a clue what they are doing. Last week i witnessed them turn away a little old man who came for a vaccination telling him he has to do the appointment online. Clearly he probably doesnt have a smart phone and someone should have offered to help but instead turned him away.
Been waiting on my sons prescription for over 6 hrs meanwhile he cannot begin his treatment. Was told only one pharmacist was in this location. And she takes an hr lunch. So no one else covers for her in that time.
Clean, and very Kind employees. Parking is good and pharmacy available. I would recommend.
Aside from the girl at the counter the pharmacy staff is completely rude, unhelpful and quiet frankly inappropriate. I came in with a workman’s comp claim script and was told by the doctor- give the prescription and say it’s a claim and that’s it. I was told I had to pay the balance of the prescription or run it through my insurance; which I told the girl. I shouldn’t be paying. She went to ask the obnoxious pharmacy tech; to who said I needed to call my company and get their policy number and that it; “was only $1.50” (mind you there were people behind me that don’t need to know my business) and with a comp claim that’s also wildly not the point. I went all the way back to my car with a painful knee injury to bring them all the documentation from the doctor and gave it to them and he didn’t even have the courtesy to come speak to me- he yells again across the pharmacy that I need to get in touch with my company and get their insurance information. As the reviews state below mine.Don’t get a prescription filled here.
I didnt want to rate them so low but the public deserves my honesty. By all means do some shopping here but I advise against getting your prescriptions here. We were given the wrong prescription - the paperwork was right but the pills were wrong! When I called to complain all I got was I dont know how this happened. Zero reassurance that it wouldnt happen again. The pharmacy is a never-ending chaotic mess that has steadily gotten worse over the last few years.
Honorable customer service.Phone automatic refill system makes you go thru everything after which you have to speak with someone to get a refill.Wait 15 minutes at the drive up window and told where closed yo have to come inside.Totally INCOMPETENT
Pharmacy drive through closed since longtime. They don’t have enough staff, max 2 person in the pharmacy, confused, some of them rode and they don’t care about u, they could told you come tomorrow if they didn’t prepare ur prescription. Not recommended at all...
I do not know how the pharmacy has managed to stay open. They are completely incompetent. The most horrible service. Stay away, find yourselves another pharmacy.
Most of the staff are very nice but the pharmacy is always a mess and confused even when there’s one person there but unfortunately it’s the closest pharmacy to my home and I’ve been waiting for my prescriptions for a week are so now and I’m sick as a dog! Not the best pharmacy I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone.
I paid $196.00 to Walgreens same medicine $51.16 in Shop Rite they are around the corner. DONT GET ROBBED. I will not spend any penny there any more this is not FAIR.Shop around before you buy from walgreens, you will save a lot.
This pharmacy is by far one of the best staff wise. They don’t hassle or give you a hard time. Simply give you a smile. Excellent.
My insurance wouldn’t pay till 3 days. I asked for 3 pills & they charged me knowing full well that they could’ve given me three pills & charged my insurance three days later. Horrible place to go to. Horrible staff. So unprofessional.
The drive through line is horribly slow. As a joke one day after waiting 20 minutes on the drive through line. I parked my car and went inside. Right in the drive through line. I went inside and was able to get my medicine and back to my car before the line even moved. I spoke to the store manager about how furious I was, she did not really care. Pathetic, we are dollar signs to a pharmacy and thats it.
The pharmacy is always busy and the staff in my experience are helpful. I usually just pick up my prescription the next day have no problem. I’m surprised by the amount of negative reviews.I guess it wouldn’t hurt if this location hired more associates for the pharmacyHire more people like Raymond! - The man is a american hero! This dude was upbeat and had a great overall personality. Made me happy for coming to Walgreen.
I dont know why I keep coming there, it doesnt have much baby or pets cleaning product, they take a long time to put the product on after it ends
I had bought a perfume from Walgreens. I went to return and buy something else but they would not accept it. First, they told me they did not sell this item anymore so they would not accept it. I caught them lying! My daughter found a bunch of the same exact item I had bought and brought them up to the cashier. They were speechless but this time they said I was late to bring it back, although it had been exactly 28 days. I had planned to spend 5 minutes returning it because I knew exactly what I wanted and did not have time to waste. I spent half an hour and left without buying anything. Terrible place! Awful staff! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! CVS ALL THE WAY!
I went to get a vaccine shot today and was blown away by the service I received. The pharmacist, unfortunately I didnt get his name, was very pleasant, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable! Thank you.
Great customer service! Very clean and organized place! Also the staff is very friendly. Idk what everyone else is saying.
Yes, the pharmacy is a disaster and I have been going there for years, both on Main St. and Browertown. Im really not the type to get too excited over nonsense, but I had called my doctor to refill prescriptions whenever they are due (a normal occurrence) and as I left work I was surprised to see all were Ready for Pickup in the app. One was four days early, but Ive done this regularly at this location 2, 3, and maybe 4 days the max out of convenience to get all of my medications at once without numerous trips. It was rush hour and not my favorite place to go off the highway. Anyhow, If its “not ready or under review” on the app - I dont waste my time or gas to go that day. Anyway, I got to the pharmacy, assuming all were ready and was told I had to wait till Friday, a day Id be completely out of my medications. I was near tears after a rough Monday and I just wanted to pick up my medication and go home. Instead, I was told it wasnt WALGREENS policy, but the discretion of the pharmacist. Im sorry, but if you are listing it is ready at the location, my insurance approves, and my doctor approved, why am I there wasting my time after work? I’m a health professional wearing scrubs on my way home, not some “suspicious character”. This pharmacy is definitely NOT a stigma-free zone. I’ve studied pharmacology as well, but unfortunately I know you can’t teach compassion. Thanks to the Clifton location on Allwood Rd for helping me transfer and for having everything ready today so I can pick them up together. And thanks to the pharmacist there for speaking to me directly!
Even one star is way more than deserved.I have never called to this pharmacy without a terribly lengthy wait (more than 20 minutes) on the line, with even that nobody picked up.In two occasions, I had to call another Walgreens to give them the message.
Please do NOT use their pharmacy. They are very unprofessional, and their not informative on what your paying for. Told me I wasn’t in the system then had to tell the guy specifically what I was getting and somehow my info popped up on the screen. After an hour he told me last minute that my insurance doesn’t cover my meds so then I had no choice but to pay out of pocket.
The girl who works this specific shift on this day put my stuff in a bag, the bag was pressed up against her stomach. So I assumed she would hand it to me. After about a legitimate 10 seconds which is a VERY long time to stand in front of a cashier after being handed your receipt, I just reach across the counter and grab the bag. I told her very politely sweetie you’re supposed to hand the customer the bag when you cashier I was waiting for you, I said it very very politely. She said my jobs to ring you up and I’m not your sweetie, a very very trashy thing to say. All these Paterson people are trying to move in and I don’t like that at all. Very very trashy
Pharmacy is very helpful and patient. I have no complaints about the pharmacy either!
I came to walgreens looking for medication for my child. I dont see the desired medicine in the aisle and I ask the pharmacist. Without even waiting for me.to ask what type of medication Im looking for he said they dont carry it. But I didnt tell you what I am looking for how can you know you dont carry it. How lazy can you be? Horrible service this man should be fired.
1. I had a workmans comp claim and they told me to call and verify paperwork when its their job to do so, which delayed my prescription by 5 hours. 2. They told my wife they would call when her EpiPen script was ready and 2 days went by with no word, we had to harass them to even tell us what was happening. 3. More than a few times we were told to wait 10 mins for scripts and sat around for 30+ minutes! People need to get there heads out of their ***
It is now 8:20 am and the store still isnt open. Needed medicine for my son. Employees were standing outside. The store manager should have some type of back up plan in place to prevent the entire store being closed due to one person not showing up.
This is the worst Walgreens on earth. Every single prescription you pick up has an issue. Prepay. Why the express line is the same as the regular line. The costumer service is a joke. Bad attitudes would be a compliment. It’s like they took every employee that failed at other Walgreens and demoted them to Little Falls. Stay away from this place.
So unwelcoming and you feel like you are bothering them at the pharmacy the guy was so rude and angry. Ordering customers around to sit and wait for long time and if you got up to ask how long I still have to wait ( not the normal wait at any pharmacy) he would just respond rudely. Never again
I am not rating the store here- but more one of the pharmacy employees. There is a woman there named Lisa- who is probably the worst, fake, meanest person I have ever met. I have been getting my prescriptions from Walgreens in Little Falls a couple of years prior to their move to Browertown, and my uncle has been going there forever. Every time I go in there and walk to the counter and Lisa is working, I pretty much prepare myself for her sarcastic and horrible customer service- her bossy know-it- all attitude and her all around rudeness. I already hear her voice telling me that there was some type of issue, which she instantly blames on me or my insurance- when in reality it turns out to be her/the stores mistake. I silently say a prayer that the pharmacist will rescue me instead of having to deal with her. Here constant negativity really brings the place down and patients, like me, who are dealing with social disorders (not limited to just: social anxiety, depression, bi polar, ADD) walk out of Walgreens feeling worse than when they came in. I dont think anyone deserves to be talked down to, especially when this Lisa doesnt know their background or knowledge. I am really surprised a well known retail chain would keep such a bad seed.I think the best though- is that when my uncle is there with me, she is sweet as pie to him. Smiles, laughs, courteous. But when the customer before him, and I guess anyone after him, she is a royal b!@#$. There is always a huff or eye roll. Her body language is very off putting/ as well as completely non approachable and actually alarming, and Im not a little dude, being 64 and a broad guy, she has a way of making people inferior.I would love to get my medicine at another pharmacy, but convenience always wins out, as the drive is less than 3 minutes away. I just hope someone actually reads this review and has a talk with her. Maybe customer service isnt her strong suit....perhaps prison guard? lunch lady? Professional wrestler?
The staff was really helpful...
Tried to get my prescription because I had ran out - I had recently moved and lost track of the amount I had left. Im a pill I have to take every day at a certain time. When I explained over the phone they told me to come down. When I arrived the pharmacist would not give me 1 to take so I wouldnt miss my routine. Were talking about a blood pressure pill not a controlled substance. Pharmacist was very short with me and rude. Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. The pharmacists name is britanny. If you want horrible service you came to the right pharmacy
I went many times to get my presc. Some reason they don’t get it online . Different doctor office but the same result i am so upsetting it
Understaffed pharmacy and it is reflected directly in the service provided. Don’t expect a call back with issues, bring a book.
I recently started to use this Wallgreens, being that I’m new to the area. Where I used to live I would always use the local CVS. I only decided to use this specific Wallgreens, for the same reason, convenient. What I find very puzzling with this pharmacy, & I’m not sure it’s all Wallgreens or just the one in Woodland Park, NJ, is the people who take your prescriptions look at you in a very funny way, AFTER YOU HAVE HANDED THEM YOUR RX. Prior to them seeing what medications I am picking up, they are all happy-go-lucky. However, their personal demeanor (This was “NOT” on 1 single isolated occasion, it’s now the 6th time I’ve used them, & the 6th time this has happened to me) immediately changes. I can’t believe that on my most recent drop off I had a male employee of the pharmacy ask me 5-6 different questions about my medication. CLEARLY THESE WERE QUESTIONS HE HAD NO BUSINESS ASKING ME, AS I’M QUITE SURE HE’S NOT AWARE OF NJ’s HIPPA LAWS. Having nothing to hide, & rather not telling him “It’s really none of your business” I told him the reason for the need of this medication. He went back and forth with some other employee, 4X typing into his computer. After making me wait 20 minutes in the drive through, badgering me about “WHY I’M TAKING THIS MEDICATION” only to come back & say, “Sorry Sir, we don’t distribute this type of medication.” When I asked him “What in the world are you taking about, your a pharmacy, aren’t you ?” His response was extremely alarming, & offensive. (Thus why I’m writing my FIRST EVER review of a business) I was told to, “Take your RX somewhere else, & good luck with that.” They only got 1 star because I could give them 0, or a negative rating, but my review explains my experience quite well.* NOT ONLY AM I WRITING THIS REVIEW TO EDUCATE NEW PEOPLE THAT MAY WANT TO USE THIS PHARMACY TO STAY AWAY, I AM ALSO CALLING & THEN WRITING TO THEIR HEADQUARTERS. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS YOUNG INDIVIDUAL HAD NO CLUE WHATSOEVER WHO HE WAS BELITTLING AS I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO EXPOSE THIS PHARMACY FOR 100% UNETHICAL PRACTICES. I WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO MAKE SURE THIS EVENT IS CLEARLY HEARD TO ALL OF THE “POWER-AT-B” WORKING FOR WALLGREENS.** THEY JUST CAUSED THE “FUSE” TO BURN ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM & HAVE NO IDEA OF HOW OFFENSIVE & DISCRIMINATORY THEIR ACTIONS WERE.*** I assure all readers, this will get the proper attention it deserves. No human being, with a legal RX should have to go through what I went through, FOR NO GOOD REASON WHATSOEVER !!!!!
The worst. They didnt order my medicine. Told me my other prescription was too early to fill when it wasnt. Pharmacist hung up on me. I reported it to walgreens custoner service. Manager just somehow flipped it on me. No matter what they do it is the customers fault.
There is a Cashier his name Romer-I WANTED TO EXCHANGE A GIFT AND HE returned the money to the persons Card instead to exchanging. Now the person knows that I tried to return their gift and worst part is they got the money back on thier card and now I dont have the gift or the item I wanted to get instead of it.nastiest person ever and doesnt even look or listen to the customer as they speak. Today I went in and said I want to exchange the item that I got as a gift with another item( I put Both items on the table pointing which one I needed to exchange and which item I wanted instead) with the receipt. Romeo didnt even look at me when I was talking And i mentioned it 3 times. After he said ok and started scanning the items then he looked at the item that I wanted and said ur buying that? I said yes, this is the item that I wanted instead of the other one. He said no I cant because I returned them to ur MASTER CARD. So he basically RETURNED THE MONEY BACK TO THE PERSONS CARD WHO GOT ME THIS GIFT !!!!!!! So I explained to him that this is a gift and that I clearly told him In the beginning that I wanted to exchange it ! So then he tried to lie and say that u cant return or exchange when u use a MasterCard. I said this is not my card are u telling me if someone buys my somthing I cant exchange it ... really ??? Now ur even lying after making a mistake ?? I told mangment to look at the cameras to see what I said happened was right then someone came to apologized to me and said that she will give me. 15 percent discount NO THANKS I RATHER PAY FULL PRICE ThEN HAVING ALL THIS TRUBLE AND MISTREATING CUSTOMERS what a lousy placeafter all this I told them I want my stuff back I dont want to exachange anything and he said NO
Not sure what all the negative reviews here are about, but I have had nothing but good experiences here. They are friendly, conveniently located, and once when I left my gloves in the bathroom, they held on to them for me to come pick up later.
A smaller store than most, but has a little bit of everything. Everyone Ive dealt with are polite and helpful.
I waited more than 20 minutes to get through to the pharmacy drive through before I received assistance.Very poor service.
The pharmacy at this location is absolutely unbearable. Just going to mention a few of the issues they have as I dont have time to present the entire extensive list of negativity one experiences when coming here.First, Ill mention the fact that they really dont care about you. For example, as Im writing this, I am waiting for a script I dropped off 2 hours ago. They asked me when I wanted to pick it up and I told them I will wait for it. The gentlemen then informed me it will be an hour and a half and I nodded and walked away. For all they know, I literally could have been at the store waiting for the script the entire time only to be told that they dont have it ready two hours later and that they will get to it now. The gentleman earlier, took my script put it to the side and forgot about it. This is exactly the 6th time this has happened at this location.Next, I will mention the fact that costumer turn-around time averages are at an average of 5.5 minutes per customer. As I sat waiting for my script to be filled, with 3 people working the register, I calculated that average based on the 13 customers that were helped in that time. As you can imagine the line is very long because of this. There is a man working the drive-thru who shouts so loud on the phone to the customers on the other side of window, no one can hear the conversation they are having. This guy should be helping the in store customers prior to going to the window when the line is 25-35 people long.Lastly, Ill mention the tall, chubby, blonde lady who works here (clearly dont know her name). She is terribly rude and obnoxious. She always wreaks of misery and shows her unhappiness at every opportunity. Not a pleasant experience to say the least.Avoid this place at all costs if you value your time. The Walgreens on Allwood in Clifton has a wonderful pharmacy staff, so go there or any cvs.
The wait for a prescription is absolutely ridiculous. I waited over forty five minutes for ear drops! Forget about the drive thru to pickup a waiting prescription youll wait there just as long. They really need to get their game together. Hire more people!
I came here the other day to buy a toy for my grandson, it was unfortunate that the staff was not very helpful
Pharmacy is not that good with service, can’t blame the staff seems like a corporate problem, items are overpriced.
I wanted to purchase a cologne and was told, that the keys were missing. Therefore they couldnt sell me the product. How do you not Know is where the keys are??? Let alone, her excuse was, its only me and the manager in the store, I cant help you. Seriously????
Very well-stocked and friendly employees! Ask for help, if theyre not too busy and look above for the signs
I went to return some vitamins and the cashier —the same that checked me out— was rude.
This pharmacy is terrible. they sold us multivitamin for my new born baby which already passed the expiration date. we used the multivitamin almost 1 month. i will sue them.
Nothing Work At That Store
Nice
My children were scheduled to receive their COVID vaccine at this location this morning. We arrived on time and was told the pharmacist wouldn’t be in for another 45 minutes. We were then told their vaccines never arrived and we would need to go somewhere else. Absolutely useless.
