This place was great! They helped me as soon as I got there with my flat tire and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. The guys there were very professional. Highly recommend!

Juan knew his tires and wheels and was very helpful. He spent a lot I time with us and gave valuable input into our selections, including why some things would work and others wouldnt. We had shopped around and his prices were pretty much in line with other places, including on line. Glad we found him!

Horrible experience with the lady at the front desk. Pricing was unclear from the get and they kept changing the quoted price. On top of the when I questioned the pricing and asked for a break down so I could better understand I was tiered with complete disrespect. Completely unprofessional, I know they say the customer is always right even when when wrong but I guess that’s not a turn ever heard by this lady. I simply wanted to know some things before I paid and all I got was disrespectful comments as if I was not a client. Worst experience ever I will never come back here .

Stay away from this place! Very unprofessional and dabbler! I called ahead to make sure about availability and wait time. I only needed to get aligmnment done. Manager over the phone told me there was only 1 car ahaed of me wait time is about 10-20 minutes. They had me sit there for 2 hours while taking other customers between. When we decided to leave suddenly he showed reaction took our car inside and told us it would be quick. However we ended up loosing another 20 minutes as no one working on our car. Eventually he couldn’t reply our criticism but took our car outside and showed the way. Disrespectfull people at all!

GOD BLESS J&J tires! I had problems with my Honda Accord for 3 months, I was bringing it to the Honda dealership so they can fix the problem but every time I went there it felt like they were making it worse and hurting my pockets..... So I decided to go to j&j tires because one of my boys told me they got great mechanics in there. I went and they knew what the problem was right away! I couldn’t believe that a Honda dealer didn’t know how to fix there own car but j&j did. It was a quick and cheap fix!

This place is great overall. They do an excellent job no matter what the job. Juan, the owner, is very professional, knowledgeable and understanding. Ive been going to him for 6 years and have never had any problems. He has changed things around throughout and has improved customer satisfaction. Ive had engine trouble, flats, etc. He has always helped and compared prices with others. If you are a car enthusiast, this is a place to go. His mechanic helped tune my suspension (BC Coilovers) and resolved any issues Ive had. Juan is honest with any job and will let you know if he can do it with confidence. Some mechanics just play the guessing game, he does not. I recommend this place to all. Great location too.

Allow me to be entirely clear with my situation and my experience with J and J and why i will never be returning here again in my lifetime. I went to this shop yesterday and requested 2 new front tires as well as a wheel alignment. The mechanic brings me out and says oh yeah youre gonna need new control arms and bearings, theyll give you an estimate inside. I already knew what was coming. So surely enough the estimate was close to about 900 dollars. Surely enough i declined the service and simply paid for the new tires. The following day i brought my car to a family friend of mine who has been working on cars for 30+ years. I asked him if my control arms and bearings needed replacing like J and J told me. Turns out not only were my control arms not worn, they were almost brand new and had little signs of wear and tear! My family friend referred me to another alignment shop which took care of me for a very reasonable price. Simply put... J and J tire shop will scam you for labor your car does not need. Stick to a different auto shop for tires and alignments.P.S to the ownerPlease dont reply back saying youll take care of me. And dont try to shoot down my review because everything i have written above is pure fact and i have the estimate you gave me to prove it. Good day

I dont trust alot of mechanics.. but, the times i went there.. their service was excellent, even if its long waits. I gain more knowledge about one of my cars (which is a Honda) than any other place that just wants my money... i bring my parts there and get charged for the service fee.. even though I know it can get done quicker, ill stick wit this place instead of driving to NY to my old mechanic.

You should never have them touch your brakes. They are very unprofessional. Only thing they understand is replacing the black tire. I made a mistake going there for a brake replace. The big head guy who calls his-self as a mechanic broke the caliper and said it was not his fault.Also, he lied saying everything is ok with the brakes after the test drive. I paid $260 and I still have to pay $250 to replace the caliper. Definitely do not recommend this place.

This is a place I would never go back again! and never recommend anybody going there, very unprofessional and they take forever to do one little service.Let along they tell you they dont have all the tools to even clean a rim off the tire.They tell you one price which looks very reasonable and once you take your tires off your weight for 30 minutes and then they tell you a complete different price which is triple the amount of what they told you in the beginning I wouldnt even give them 1 star.

The owner Is very friendly the workers are cold. I bought used tires from them as an emergency. The tread was all the way worn and they had to go threw two or three tires because the all have holes in them. They didnt balance the tires. Shortly after I got another flat tire. I was thinking that it was my fault so I went back to buy used tires again. But it was the same problem the tires are too worn to be sold and they dont balance them my tires are slipping and my car is bouncing up and down because the wheels are not balanced. Im a single mom on a budget used tires are usually my only option Ive never had so much trouble. The quality is terrible the customer service is worse. Sorry guys. Your staff is not very welcoming either.

Wish I could give this place zero stars but you cant on here. Went there today to get a tire for my car and before showing me the tire they took off my wheel, which to me was a little off. Normally if you are buying a used tire they will show you the tire first just in case. The two tires that one of the men working there showed me had huge holes in them! Thank goodness I noticed because if not, they would have sold me tires with a holes in it. After I said forget it and asked the man to put my original tire back on so I could leave they gave me a huge attitude and then when one of the men put my tire back on he put the tire on backwards! While I was driving to another place to get a new tire the wheel was making this squeaking sound and when I arrived at another place to get a new tire they said that the tire had been put on backwards which is extremely dangerous!! I think the guy did something to my car because after getting a new tire the squeaky sound that happened after I left J&J Tires continued to happen. Will NEVER EVER EVER go back to this place. It is crooked, avoid at all costs!!!

I had noticed I kept losing air in my front passenger RFT when I decided to stop in at JJ to check it out. In the drizzling rain, the guy took one look and found th e screw in my tire and made every effort to remove it and plugged it. I was told a few times that RFt can’t be repaired or plugged but the guys at JJ made mine possible and I moved along happily ever after!

Ridiculously lazy. Theres 3 guys working at any given time and they get overwhelmed when they have to just work on one car. Do yourself a favor and go to Newark or paterson where you will be in and out in 20 minutes instead of waiting all day for them to service one car. Not the first time it happened either. Dont be fooled by the other short reviews that give 5 stars without much detail (anyone can write a review) but if you need somewhere local just go to Mavis tire literally 2 minutes away and they will match the deal.Edit after owner response: I did not know it takes one guy to service a tire and two to watch him do it. Do not try to justify sub par work ethic and performance with safety either. Im not sure how you have to wait your turn pertains to me or my review as I did not mention anything about skipping people. If you want to talk about obvious I would say to stop having your friends right bogus 5 star reviews to boost your ratings. Not to mention how you guys try to get over on people by changing the prices (i.e. twice when you guys tried to charge me 30 instead of 20 to mount and balance a tire). Ive come to your store because of its proximity to me (in little ferry) but after realizing that driving to paterson, having them mount and balance my tires (after waiting my turn, obviously), and driving back home, takes far less time than waiting for anyone in your shop to figure out how to do any of that. If you think anything I said is unreasonable, than good luck on your future endeavors.
