I love this place. The ladies are so nice and welcoming. The establishment is so clean and inviting. They decorate to accommodate the holiday or reason for the season. I am big on great customer service and they are right on point. I only wish that they offer lower prices for the storage rooms and the initial free month that many places offer because it makes all the difference.

Affordable self storage solution

I have been with A Self Storage for many years. I previously worked with several other storage facilities so I know good service when I receive it. The staff is always friendly, courteous and thoughtful. They are ready to help with any problem you may encounter. The facilities have been adequate for my needs and I have had multiple different sized units at different times. Sometimes the locks are tricky to deal with but nothing that cant be overcome. I do wish they had longer hours but I have found ways to manage around this. I enjoy the positive working relationship I have with them.

I had been a customer for about 3yrs prior to 2019 and then i moved and had no need for storage now again i need to store our stuff and i went back to them and it felt like i never left . The staff is friendly and kind and the prices are great compared to other place close by. They keep it well maintained. I would recommend this storage place to anyone.

BE WARE OF HACKENSACK RIVER, INCRESED RATES & NOT PROTECTED INSURANCE; I used this facility for about 20 yrs, when the prices were cheap and just started, but after Sandy the experiences were horrendous, never help filing insurance or encourage filing insurance with FEMA. The past recession about 2 yrs ago I almost lost all my valuable belongings in the Storage, because the owner decided to increase the rent more than 60% during the summer and offered new customer discount but not existing good customers. From the past 3 yrs, and now there are ample of storages in the area that offered new facilities with incomparable services, free first month, flexible and reasonable rules. I love all the ladies customer service at A Self Storage, they are all trying to follow all the rules. But they were rules for convenient the owners. very little regards to consumers. For new users, please keep eyes on rainy days and possible big floods because this facility is right next to Hackensack River. During Sandy I had 2 units downstair with 4 under water, I had to throw away most of my belongings and not getting a penny to compensate from the insurance premium that I paid every month or the insurance from the facility as well. Its time for us to move on.

The Staff is very helpful and friendly, always available to answer any questions you might have, and the facility is well kept.

I stored my stuff there for about 1 1/2 years and the service was excellent. Originally I was using Manhattan Mini Storage in Harlem, but I was able to get a unit double the size for the same price 10min over the George Washington bridge. Much better deal. The management was very friendly and helpful.

Fully deserving of 10 stars, 5 stars is almost disrespectful. My only complaint is Norma and Angelia cannot be cloned. If only every business was handled this way. More than fair, honest, and reasonable. Dont waste your time or money looking elsewhere.

Exceptional service, centrally located and just an overall wonder experience. Five stars is not enough.

Old place. Units are not air tight to the outside. No carts to use on first or second floor. Entrances directly from outside.
