LOVE this store!! So many pretty things (Beads, gems, silver)! Went in to the store for some cord help to make bracelets for a Girls Trip. I am a complete novice! The ladies were sooo helpful. They got a feel for what I was trying to do, they showed me my options, and then helped me make the best option for the my project. They also directed me to some pointers on YouTube. Will definitely be going back!! Plus, they give 10% of every purchase to a local charity of your choosing (from a generous list)!

Incredible store in a bright blue building! So much that I wanted to buy that I could go bankrupt in this place! Give em a try, whether you want to craft your own or buy premade, this is the place to go. Definitely coming back.

I love this shop! Incredible selection of all sorts of beads and findings. Rare beads that Ive never seen before, lots of well priced beautiful beads for all sorts of crafty goodness. They even carry some phenomenal gemstone beads, some are a bit pricy but theyre actual gemstones and worth it. The staff is delightful, knowledgeable and very helpful. They have excellent gift selections available with premade jewelry items, some made by their talented staff and others from various local artists. They also have been expanding their offerings of crystals and stones. A wonderful find in the south metro, worth the drive!

FANTASTIC STORE! Even during covid pandemic. Great staff and wonderful products. Some things are a bit pricey but definitely worth visiting.

Lots of beads, which is nice. The older lady with glasses is not very friendly. I will say everyone else was though. Even when I tried to engage her she was overtly curt and unfriendly. I thought maybe she was having a bad day but I did observe her being very gracious to other customers. It will probably deter me from going in again.

I had absolutely the best experience today at Crazy Merchant. Anne, LeeAnna and Logan provided amazing customer service. They were very helpful in working with me to fix an old necklace that needed to be resized and restrung-- providing expertise and patience. They were also super patient and warm with my 15 month old-- who I brought not knowing about all of their beautiful (and delicate) gift items. It also felt very COVID safe with a temperature check at the door. Thank you for such a great experience!!!

This place is fantastic! Vast selection of beads! Great customer service and reasonable prices. Good for a quick stop for an essential or staying around for a bit to really dig into their collection. A must stop for novice and advanced hobbiest alike. Go soon, go often!

I bought beads from here - thinking I could support a local business. They don’t disclose to you that all bead sales are final, unless you want to exchange the beads. None of the beads I bought can be used with the wire I bought so now I have a ton of beads I can do anything with.

Dont get me wrong, most of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and lovely. There is one woman who is a little bit older, wearing glasses (didnt get a name), who refused to answer our questions, and when she did she did it so condescendingly. My entire party was put off by her attitude. The selection is cute and I would overall reccomend this place, but be careful of that one unpleasant worker!

Too expensive, I bought just a few things and it was almost 40.00. Customer service was blah. For the store being as big as is, they dont have a lot of what I wanted. Wont go there anymore.

Really enjoyed my visit at this jewelry craft store today. I am just starting to learn how to make jewelry for gifts. Charlotte welcomed me to the store and was so helpful and kind. I had so many questions and she was so patient and taught me some great tips and helpful hints. She gave me a tour and showed me all the different items needed for making the bracelet I am making for a Christmas gift. They offer different classes from beginner to expert. I am going to sign up for the class that teaches you how to make a mala and tie the knots between each bead. So excited to learn this! So amazing service, friendly and helpful people and a huge selection of beads, charms, gemstones, supplies and helpful advice make The Crazy Merchant a great place to go to learn and create and have fun!

Wish I had discovered Crazy Merchant years ago! Extremely customer oriented. You feel welcomed from the moment you enter without the staff being too intrusive. They take their lead from each individual. They are there to help you find what you need; answer any question and support your goals. Their classes are at the top end but the one I took on wire-wrapping included about $30 worth of materials and the instructor was passionate, patient and funny! She emailed directions for future use which was very helpful!! I HIGHLY recommend this store to anyone who works in jewelry making.

I had a good feeling about this place from the start when I saw the bright blue building, and was even more blown away wuth my experience when I went in. Lexi is absolutely phenomenal. She has tremendous bead and stone knowledge and helped me throughout my entire craft process. I have been here for less than an hour and am already convinced Ill be back here regularly!!!

The ladies there have always been friendly and knowledgable. Ready to answer questions, sell me silver, and whatever else my jewelry making self may need. If I ask a question they dont know the answer for sure; they arent afraid to ask someone else who does.

I’ve been to this place many many many times but I don’t think I ever did a review. I always find it fascinating and there is at least one person always that is willing to help.They do have a a lot of jewelry making stuff as well as it being very eclectic. Super fun to go shop around and I WOULD recommend going..

This is a great place to learn how to bead. Small size classes allows for individual instruction. Everyone gets their own set of tools to use. Huge selection of beads and findings. Prices may be a bit higher than big box craft stores but the merchandise is nice quality and employees are very knowledgeable. Staff is very friendly, approachable, and offers helpful tips and design ideas.. Craft night is a lot of fun. Opportunity to meet others, socialize, get ideas from other crafters. And a plus is they donate a percentage of your purchase to a non-profit organization of your choice.

Pros-Great selection of beads and charmsCons-Staff is annoyed with customers (like another commenter mentioned, they get irritated when you interrupt their kibitzing, how dare you)-Prices are very high compared to other local competitors-They dont adhere to their own business hours, they open and close as they please, the website and the sign on the front door say they open at 11:00 on Saturdays; however at 12:00 on a Saturday the doors are locked and no one is around, about 6-7 cars have already come and gone (I waited an hour for them to open because I drove across town)This is why people shop online

Selection of 4mm and 6mm beads is poor and lighting is poor but larger beads 10mm and up is plentiful. Findings are in large selection seem outdated.Help is plenty and saving with purchasing larger amts.

Often may have the beads or metal findings you cant find elsewhere. Staff varies between delightful and knowledgeable, to seeming to be irritated they couldnt stay sitting and gossiping because you clearly dont merit their help.
