This company is sponsoring ad bundles which are thrown indiscriminately as litter throughout our neighborhood. Many of these bundles are simply tossed in street gutters where they sit until the next rain washes them out to our waterways. Please do not support this company while they are sponsoring the trashing of our neighborhoods.

Ive used this company for years. When I was younger it was one of the few companies I could find that offered coins I needed to add to my collection. I find it to be a trusted and honest company.

Be very careful dealing with this company! They will lure you in with some great deal, then next thing you know you are receiving a ton of stuff you did not order or want - and are getting billed hundreds of dollars for it. If you dont return it all (at your expense for both shipments) or pay - they will turn you in to collections. Their website where you can do all things related to your account - will not allow you to stop these auto mailings. I am sure that is deliberate so they can keep charging people for stuff they didnt order. I dont have time to call you on the phone during the week while I am at work, I do not have time to be running to the post office all the time returning stuff I did not order, and I do not wish to be throwing my money away paying for 2 ways of shipping on stuff I did not ask to be sent to me! Oh, and want to pay $97.50 for a 2010 silver dollar? Boy that is a great deal - not. Avoid the headaches, and get your coins elsewhere. I just filed a complaint with the BBB to try and resolve my personal nightmare.

I placed my first order for the Indian 6 gold dollars for 6 dollars, face value plus an uncirculated Quarter believed to be a National Park quarter? Well a week later I RECEIVED a letter stating that my order could not be processed because of insufficient funds and no exp date for my Debit card?? See folks Im used to the companys I usually deal with take the funds from on line at time of ordering. Not the case I guess?? So I spent the money I thought they were taking out. I called the next available day to. Speak to a representative and was very helpful and getting it all straightened out for our Grandson Daniel who is going to be 5 years old on the 25 of October to start his first coin collection. Son saw an ad and was interested so he sent in for the first set of coins. They were reasonably priced. He didnt order anymore but was sent another set which was way overpriced. Sent them back. Few weeks later, another set was sent. Again, sent back because of the price and besides he didnt order them. Finally, he called and cancelled his membership but keeps getting invoices say he owes over 100 dollars.

Purchased the Lincoln Head Cent albums #1, #2 and #3. Not enough plastic sheets for the slots. Album #2 tore apart from the rivets holding on the pages. The quality is really poor. Not a happy customer after buying very expensive, poor quality merchandise.

I have purchased many coins from Littleton Coin Company and they alwaysdo a first class job in handling my account.

I have been shopping with Littleton since 2013, and they usually provide quality coins but dont adjust shipping costs accordingly. I ordered one quarter and had to pay over $6 for shipping for a single quarter. I have points, but I can only redeem them for limited items. The shipping cost more than the product which does not make sense. I wish they would be more flexible with point rewards and adjust shipping prices accordingly.

I enjoy Littleton Coin. Their prices are consistant and very reasonable. I received their 2022 Coin Book, Very reasonable price. I have coins to sell.I am 76 years old, Nothing of the rarity. The book is invaluable.

While the lobby and shop are closed to the public, coin sellers can arrange for in-person delivery along with remarkably professional and friendly persons here.

Do not buy anything from this company. As soon as you do they start sending you expensive coins you don’t want. You then have to return them. If they get lost in the mail - you have to take their word for it (this was my experience) they send a debt collection agency after you with no notification. When you try and call them you wait an hour. It’s a horrible consumer experience and a con. Avoid them at all costs.

Ordering from Littleton is so easy., shipping to my home only takes about a week. Other companies I have ordered from shipping takes a month.

I ordered an silver American eagle at an amazing price using a code that was shared in a silver group. When I received my silver eagle (for 16 bucks), they also included a set of coins on approval. I chose to purchase the extra coins and like the idea of random coins in the mail. I see lots of people complaining about this practice but, it seems easy to just return what you dont want.

Very, very poor customer service. Called to talk to someone about a package I received. Need to send back because person it was addressed to had passed away. When I told this customer service person that he had passed away she immediately started saying that I had to gather up all the coins in his possessions and send them back to the company. I could not understand that all she was concerned with was the coins that I could find in his possessions and send them back. The normal reaction when you tell someone that a person has passed away is to give your condolences.She needs to take a class in customer relations. I was sooooo upset that I dont even know if I will receive a label or not. ☹️

Shipper is S L O W and provides useless tracking number. Date of expected delivery is openly stated to be inaccurate so why bother providing tracking?

I placed an order a few months ago as a gift for someone. I was unaware that the company was going to include additional merchandise that I would have to send back or pay for until I received two bills in the mail. I called to speak with someone to resolve the issue, prepared to pay if needed (even though the amount owed was more than my original purchase) and the customer service representative I spoke with was incredibly rude. Instead of trying to explain the situation and discuss any of my options they listed off all of the ways they were going to cancel my bill, subscription, etc. and then hung up abruptly, as if they were offended that I was disputing the charges. I would consider purchasing from LCC in the future if the right product comes along, but I do not appreciate being automatically enrolled in a program that I dont ask to be involved in and I especially dont appreciate communicating with rude employees.

First time ordering from them not a good experience first they take forever to send your item and they didn’t even send everything my purchase came with so then they wanted me to send it back so they could give me the rest of my purchase they are a old news company that is behind on the times and not giving me what I payed for is theft in my eyes.

I would not recommend this company for anything. Their prices are double that of their competitors and they use a shipping method that would blow your mind. They use UPS mail innovations. To give you an idea of what that is, Littleton gives it to UPS, and then ups gives it to the USPS, then USPS delivers it. BUT once the package is given to the USPS then its no longer the problem of UPS and USPS does not provide any tracking until it is delivered. It is quit possibly the worst shipping method on the market as a package from NH to CT that can be WALKED in 1 day will take 7-14 days (Thats their quote). They say they use it because its insured and cost effective... well here I m 14 days later and the package still hasnt been delivered. I could of just walked to Littleton in 1 day and picked it up. But they dont offer that. Ontop of all of this, I have no idea if my package is lost or just really taking this long because once the package hits the USPS there is no way to track it. When you contact LCC they pretty much say you need to wait 20 days before they can open a claim.

This is the second item I’ve purchased from Littleton Coin Co that has arrived damaged. Your packaging does not stand up to the rough treatment by USPS. The first shipment was a single page for an existing album, which arrived with a folded crease down the middle of the page. The second shipment is an album that is slightly damaged at the top of the spine.

I really enjoyed looking through Littleton Coin Companys inventory. I appreciate that they have the histories of the coins/time period from which they come. A lot of other sites will only give you a date range or name of someone. The coins also arrived with those same histories on the coin flap which was perfect for giving as a gift. The three coins I got came nicely packaged and labeled and all were in great condition.

Ordered an uncirculated 1941 Standing Liberty Half Dollar. The coin arrived in a small paper envelope with1941-D Liberty Walking Silver 50C item #1365.50 on it. The coin worn, dark black marks, deeply discolored.Obviously circulated. First purchase from your Company. Paid postage to receive, more postage to return.It was a birthday gift for my brother who turns eighty. I chose to swallow my pride with a flimsy excuse of how his eighty years might feel rough but inside he still shown like bright beautiful sterling silver. Terrible!!Never will I trust your company again. Bigger is definitely not better.

Poor marketing strategy, poor communication.My twelve year old son responded to the advertisement for a 2021D Kennedy half dollar. The company did NOT send the item advertised, but did send several other coin to try out. Folks, we dont need to test drive coins. This is calculated marketing strategy that purposefully disadvantages customers by forcing them to take responsibility for unwanted items extraneous to the intent of the primary advertisement...aka bait-and-switch.I used email, telephone and old fashioned letter correspondence to amicably resolve the situation. All I need is a prepaid shipping label and they can have their junk back :), so long as they promise to never send us any future communications again!

Mailed me uncirculated coins at a higher price. Upon receipt of them...they are in plastic bags labelled uncirculated BUT, 3 out of 6 are severely scratched and obviously circulated. Very disappointed. I work at the DAs office and will be checking into this company and their history.

I have been a customer with this company for 20+ years. I decided out of curiosity to read other customer reviews to see what others thought about littleton. After reading many of the reviews, I felt I should leave a review.I started collecting coins in my early teens, Ive ordered much of my collection and supplies through littleton. I have never had any coins on approval shipped to me as an add on to any of my orders as a bait and switch, I always get my orders in a prompt manner, the items Ive ordered have always come undamaged and in the condition advertised/stated. Any time I have had a problem, question, online/phone order; customer service has always been nice, helpful and prompt. I had a recent order with an item on backorder, but, recieved notices on a regular basis as to the status of the backordered item. Littleton, in my opinion is a very reputable company.The only reason that I give a 4 star review is that some of the coins and currency that are offered are very overpriced. I wont bring up specific examples here, because I am not looking to start a debate or argument. I understand that there are costs to running business/acquiring items, certain items in particular conditions bring certain premiums at times, etc etc etc. However, certain items being marked up 100+% above any list or guide price is a bit excessive. A point on that note however, littleton is not the only coin dealer in existence. If you arent happy with the price asked, shop around. I do so myself on a regular basis.Bottom line, I do business with littleton because I know they are a reputable company, with legitimate merchandise.

Just horrible experience. Placed an order for two compasses in January. Wasnt shipped out til April. When I asked about a possible refund I got a bogus response about their supplier issues. You shouldnt accept orders for product they dont have. Then once it finally shipped it was sent to my old address as it was months since I placed the order. Will never use them again.

My uncirculated quarter and two dollar bill came, but there was one thing that I was upset about. They send you extra stuff and expect you to pay for it after a few days or weeks or months or something. I was happy that my things came, but they wanted me to pay for the extras and if not ship it back to them. They did not tell me that they would send extra coins and extra notes. Very unhappy and upset about this. Thanks for the coin and the two dollar note, but do please tell people that you will send extras before hand. Or make an option to be able to select the do not send extras button.

I received the coin in a timely manner. However the coin had marks on the front and back which was unacceptable to me. I was told this was from being in a bag of coins and that was the way Littleton received them. It does not appear to be uncirculated with the marks on it. None of my previous coins from the US Mint had marks on them. Disappointed with this. After this posting I was contacted by Littleton coin and am completely satisfied with their response and solution for my problem. Will definitely deal with them again

I recently Ordered the 2018-2020 Innovation Dollar coin set as a Christmas gift for my father, who had been searching where to get them..I would just like to share that I am very pleased on how fast processing & shipping was, but the coins show some scratches on them. I would like to suggest using cardboard holders or capsules maybe & possibly more consideration in carefully handling them when packaged to avoid scratches or smudges... Thank you

The phone operator was not available on several attempts. I finally shopped on-line and made my selection there. After uncertainty of getting the 25% discount that I agreed in accepting 0n-line shoppers alerts, the check-out wouldnt allow it. I was ready to drop the order. But my persistence paid off and I received 15$ off my order. The fractional note was not exactly in fine condition as shown on my monitor. I would gladly send it back for a refund, but it is water under the bridge now, since I did finally receive my discount. But, never again will I shop 0n-line at Littleton. It is a bear!
