This shop is basically a museum where you can buy the firearms you read about in books. Great staff (Erik? helped me out a lot) and selection of historical weapons. I was able to find an Anschutz 64 target rifle, Lee Enfields, a Swiss K31, many 1911s and even a Daewoo! The staff are all knowledgeable about the weapons. They even have a library in the back. Will you be able to find the latest like a Walther PDP? Probably not, but you will be able to find the PP in every caliber. They also do consignments at a fair price as well. So if you are in mood for a history lesson with some spare cash to spend, cant think of a better place than here.

The best gun store Ive been too. The prices can be high sometimes but these guys know their guns. The selection is incredible and they have tons of hard to find calibers. They also have a library which is pretty cool.

This place is great! It has a great atmosphere and nice guns (or most at least). They have a wide variety for collectors and ok prices for the time some of the ammo is very overpriced but over all good. The rifles are in good condition some prices questionable but again its good. The best part about this place is the workers. Brandon and Mike are great and very helpful. The rest of the staff I dont know as much but they are also very helpful and nice. Brandon helped me the most and was overall a great person. All the workers have great personalities and good stories and experiences to learn about. This place is like a museum and you can look up more about guns here. Its a very good place for collectors and very beginner friendly. Id recommend anyone to go here and I hope they stay for a good while. Also I like the I dont give a damn about mask policy but that doesnt matter.

The owner of this shop is so nice. I took a gun and holster from World War II in to the shop to see if they had any details regarding the items. Giovanni was so knowledgeable and helpful. He taught me how to identify the type of gun and holster, make, model and age. His shop is like a wonderful museum.

Amazing selection of firearms from 160 years old through modern. Lots of militaria. Also amazing customer service - they called me up on a day they were technically closed to let me know my background check was done, and they made an exception to let me come in and pick up my firearm. The staff is also super knowledgeable and excited to let you handle the pieces while they talk history. Its as much a museum as a gun shop.

Absolutely the best historical gun shop in the state. But more importantly to me, personally, are the rare historical wartime artifacts that adorn the shop. Its an amazing little museum in there! SUPER knowledgeable and friendly staff. Make it a destination!

Tourist trap of gun shops. Super overpriced for everything. Good for people that are easily distracted by the museum like atmosphere. They seem to do most of their sales online, saw 1 person in the store once and the employees were trying to make deals on the phone using gunbroker and armslist lol

I found this store by pure chance and its actually a candy store for history buffs. Im into the Great War and was able to get a P1907 bayonet i had been long looking for. I also browsed their store and saw that a lot of their prices are very fair. Not to mention on top of all that, they have a library in the back for you to reserch what youre considering buying.Go support these guys if you love history and old firearms. Theres no other place in Colorado like this.

What an amazing store, I was totally blown away at their never ending collection and knowledge about vintage firearms. They have been here for 3 years but I just stumbled upon them today, my 10 year old could spend hours digging through the bins of bayonets and was amazed with this musket and bayonet taller than her. The guys were so awesome at showing us some fantastic oddities and cool military memorabilia. We are going to make this a regular thing. Making a list of future “needs” for the collection. Thanks for a great lunch adventure.

I discovered Old Steel early in 2016 and found a unique South African pocket pistol. Ever since discovering this unique gun store the owner Giovanni has been more than happy to answer any and all questions that I have. His staff is not only knowledgeable and friendly but go above and beyond customer service. While the specialize in historical and collectible firearms they have plenty of other unique and used modern firearms. Take the time to check them out!

Litterally the best gun shop in the Denver Metro area. If you are like me and are sick of seeing the same 8 guns in every single gun shop go to this place! They have a giant selection of historical and just super rare guns. I always spend at least an hour in this shop looking and guns and talking to the incredibly nice staff who will sit there any talk guns with you and show you around! By far my favorite gun shop!

A small, but well stocked shop. The staff is very friendly and super knowledgable. They have a few new guns, but by far they deal with older guns. Lots of cool things to see, if you stop on in make sure you have some time to check out all the artifacts too. Its like a little museum.

Gio is by far the most knowledgeable, reasonable, and humble gun store owner I’ve ever met. He treated my disabled brother with the upmost respect and was generous to even give him a gift. I walked in looking for a rifle, but left with fascinating stories and world history. Only gun shop I’d ever recommend. Every firearm and history enthusiast must go to Old Steel.

This is simply the most unique gun store in Colorado. If you are looking for vintage, antique or modern Military weapons, there is simply no other store like this in the Rocky Mountain region. It is comparable to the great gun stores such as Collectors Firearms (Houston) and Simpsons LTD (Illinois). The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair given the high condition of the firearms, blades and militaria that they sell. These guys can get very busy, but they will spend as much time with you as you need to make an informed decision. If you are looking for WWI or WWII era guns, you need to stop here. If you are a bayonet collector, you will be blown away by how many blades they have. They have comfortable furniture and a great weapons library. I recommend that you hangout, grab a free water and get comfortable. You will want to be here for a while.Highly recommended.

Firearm and history experts at the same time. You can find all sort of bolt action military rifles you can think of, lots of semiautos too.Great colection of bayonets and different swords. Some memorabilia too. They always have a good selection of Spanish pistols, rifles and shotguns, some really hard to find like a Destroyer carbine, a Grulla shotgun or a Star SS pistol with Francos police markings.Very friendly and knowledgeable.Definitely a place to go.
